Pointer

P (3,0) 1st Anderson Rowell’s Daledancer Frances Mullen BP 8 months old bitch lots to like about her. Pleasing in head with lovely dark eye. Strong, clean lines to the neck. Well laid shoulders. Good in topline, she made her handler work , but settled on the move, 2nd Booth’s Lundgarth Ticket to Fly Another nicely put together youngster. Head well balanced, straight in front with well-placed shoulder. Good depth of chest, 3rd Radcliffe’s Sniperay Secret Affair

G (2,0) 1st Anderson Rowell’s Wilchrimane Silent Sonnet at Daledancer RBOB A close decision between these two. My preference was just on the length of back on my winner. Again, nicely proportioned in head, with good eye shape and colour. Deep in chest. Topline held well both on the move and standing. Correct bend of stifle, 2nd Pressley, Large & Larges’s Mattiboo White Queen All the same attributes of 1, I was just splitting hairs over the length of back. But these two could change places at any time.

O (5, 3) 1st Anderson Rowell’s Raigmore Limelight at Daledancer BOB Beautifully put together bitch. Deep in chest and good ribcage. Front straight and strong rear quarters. Head well balanced, 2nd Pressley’s Sniperay Ambrosia BV. Feminine bitch, good angulation both fore and aft. Showed herself well on the move. Cleans neck , shoulder well laid. Chest deep and correct rib cage.

Good depth of chest, well ribbed and correct length of loin. Good rear angulation, 2nd Kassube & French’s Cararua Spring Pearl overall a well-balanced young lady, feminine in head with nice expression. Chest well developed, short over the loin. Moved well

O (2,1) 1st Kassube & French’s Twoacres Fantasy by Cararua BOB BV Feminine bitch with a classic Irish head. Kind expression. Shoulders well placed, good depth of chest, short over the loin, holding her topline both standing and on the move. Correct rear angulation. Moved freely around the ring.

English Setter

P (2,1) 1st Colton’s Rowanmyle Box of Delights for Ennydloc BP Pleasing in head, good eye colour. Straight front with good bone. Clean neck and shoulders, well developed in rib. Correct rear angulation , 2nd McDowell’s Byedales Agatha Christie Still very raw and just needs to tighten in front. Balanced head. Good rib cage and depth of chest Shoulders correctly placed. Moved well.

J (2,0) 1st Pearson’s Bournehouse Augustus at Yessandi BOB, still only young but nothing to dislike about him. Classic head and expression, overall, very well balanced. Good angulation both front and rear. straight front with correct bone, following through to shoulders well placed, good in ribs and depth of chest. Moved freely around the ring. 2nd Hull & Moore’s Dalreavoch Glory Days Another not to like clean lines throughout. Good length of neck, shoulders nicely laid back. Short over the loin. Level topline at all times.

G (3,0) 1st Pearson’s Bournehouse Augustus at Yessandi, 2nd Stead’s Ravewnsett Illusiionist of Settavista, nicely put together dog, strong lean neck. Head nicely proportioned with dark eye. Chest well developed. Not quite as balanced as the winner 3rd Taylor’s Kanietter Kocoa

Stright clean front with good bone. Short over the loin. Well-developed rear quarters, moved with ease around the ring, 2nd Stead’s Ravewnsett Illusiionist of Settavista, 3rd Taylor’s Kanietter Kocoa

Gordon Setter

G (4,2) 1st Miller-Webb’s Kewstoke Ocean Seahorse BOB These two dogs were litter brother and sister so comments remain the same. At the moment still very raw and gave their handlers a hard time. I preferred the head on the bitch as I felt she had more finish at this time. Both well boned, straight front. Shoulders not as well placed as I would like. Both kept their toplines on the move when settled, Reed’s Kewstoke Mr Sandman RBOB

O (4, 3) 1st Miller-Webb’s Kewstoke Ocean Seahorse
