Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge and for the exhibitors for allowing me the honour of going over your dogs. It’s so good to see people supporting up and coming judges and is much appreciated. Baby Puppy Dog - 1 1 Green’s Jamarhy’s O’Ryan Upstanding Black of 5 months who presents a square outline. Good head properties and expression, excellent eye, good width to skull, nicely set and held ears. Good bite and pigment. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulder. Level top line, nice short coupling and well set and carried tail. Moved well for age. Minor puppy dog - 2 1 Mackenzie-Haverson & Mackenzie’s Beaconpride Carbon Copy With Cheuntao Another square, upstanding lad who presents a balanced outline. Good width to skull, clean eye, with good bite and pigment. Well placed ears. Nice reach of neck, slightly arched into pleasing front assembly, level top line, moderate rear angulation with well set and carried tail. Moved well. 2 Stewart-Beavis & Beavis’ Shulian Sorocco Star Another promising youngster who was a tad longer cast than 1. Beautiful head properties, clean eye and good bite and pigment. Correct shoulder and good width to chest. Moved well in side profile when settled. Puppy Dog - 2 1 Turner’s Tanlap Trendy For Cottonfields Lovely head properties on this youngster with good eye, bite and pigment. Enough neck. Good forechest and tidy front assembly. Level top line, well set and carried tail. Just needs to come up on his legs a little to balance his profile. Moved ok. 2 Clare’s Norskov’s Regal Smooth Contender At Beneleo (Imp DNK) Self red smooth with lots to like. Presents a mature and balanced outline. Good eye, bite and pigment. Strong, slightly arched neck into well laid shoulder. Well off for bone throughout with good width and depth to chest. Level top line with moderately angulated rear. Preferred the slightly tighter movement of 1. Graduate Dog - 2 1 Markillie’s Kingrock Blue Steel Blue smooth with much to like. Presents a square, balanced outline. Good head properties with nothing exaggerated and nicely set small ears. Good reach of neck onto well laid shoulders. Nice straight front and well held elbows. Good depth and width to chest, level top line and moderately angulated rear. Shown in good condition and handled to advantage. 2 Jolly’s Poppykins Solid Gold For Doolish Lovely masculine head properties on this lad. Nice thick well held ears. Enough neck, well laid shoulder, good depth of chest and spring of rib. Level top line and well set and carried tail. Moved ok. Limit Dog - 2 1 Spanias’ Charids King Of Hearts Not the biggest lad but so square and compact. Well up on his toes. Pleasing head properties, good eye and thick ears. Excellent pigment. Enough neck into good shoulders, and good front assembly. Enough bone throughout. Good width and depth to chest with a well sprung rib. Short coupled with moderately angulated rear and well let down hocks. Shown in excellent coat and condition. Excellent rear and side action which secured him the class and later RBD. 2 Stewart-Bevis & Bevis’ Booneeks Chewie Another with pleasing head properties. Good width to skull, good eye, well set ears. Enough neck, well laid shoulder and straight front. Presented a square and balanced outline on the stand with moderately angulated rear. Shown in good coat and condition. Open Dog - 2 (1) 1 Foy’s Ramannire’s Romeo Shaded Red who presented a square and balanced outline on the stand. Plenty of substance and width all through. Good head and expression with width to skull, clean eye, broad muzzle with good bite and pigment. Enough neck, good shoulders, straight front with nice tightly held elbows. Level top line, short coupling, and moderately angulated rear. Moved well in all directions to BD & BOS. Special Open (Smooth) Dog - 2 1 Markillie’s Kingrock Blue Steel (As above) 2 Clare’s Norskov’s Regal Smooth Contender At Beneleo (Imp DNK) (As above) Veteran Dog - 2 (1) 1 Soole & Carrol’s Ralph’s X Y And Red Eight Year Old shaded red of good size and substance. Lovely head properties with good width of skull, small well set and carried ears, clean eyes. Good breath and depth to chest, well knitted frame with good angles all through. Moved ok. BVD. Lila Richard Memorial Stakes Dog - 2 1 Charid’s King Of Hearts (As above) 2 Rhodes & Reece’s Wynchobe One And Only Well-grown 9 month old off good shape and size. Pleasing head properties, good width to skull, clean eye and small well set ears. Enough neck, good shoulders and level top line. Short coupled with enough bone all through. Moved well when settled. BOACD, BPD & BPIS Minor Puppy Bitch - 1 1 Foy’s Shulian Saskia Star Dashes to Ramannire Very pretty shaded red with pleasing head. Lovely thick ears, good eyes, bite and pigment. Good shoulders into straight legs and tight feet. Level top line, well set and carried tail. Moved ok when settled. BPB Puppy Bitch - 2 1 Green’s Tanlap Tirana At Jamarhys Shaded Red with much to like. Presents a square balanced outline. Nice expression, good width to skull, well placed and held ears, clean eye, good bite and pigment. Good length of neck into well laid shoulder and good legs with tight feet. Good width of chest, level top line, short coupling with well set and carried tail. Moved well. 2 Foy’s Ramannire’s Villanelle Pretty fawn bitch with much to like. Slightly longer cast in profile than 1. Good head properties with good bite and pigment. Well laid shoulder, level top line, moderately angulated rear. Tail well set on. Moved ok. Graduate Bitch - 3 1 Richard’s Charids Holly Berry Very pretty shaded red who presented a square and balanced outline. Excellent expression with good eye, good width to skull, well set and held ears that were small and thick. Well made all through with good width and depth and enough bone. Level top line and short coupling. Moderate rear angulation with well let down hocks. Slightly lacking in coat today but that didn’t detract from the overall quality. Her movement, which was true in all directions won her the class and later RBB & RBIS. 2 Martin’s Jamarhys Neptune At Foillan Blue of God type and substance. She scored for me on balance. Excellent head and expression with good eye, bite and pigment. Well placed ear. Square in profile with good bone, well laid shoulder with nice straight front. Level top line and well set and carried tail. Unlucky to come up against my 1 today. Moved well BAOCB & BOACIS Limit Bitch - 4 (2) 1 Baston’s Webgeordy Oh My Gosh Well grown shaded red with lots to like. Feminine, correct head with good eye, ears, bite and pigment. Good length of neck and good shoulders. She has good width and depth to chest and enough bone all though. Well ribbed up and short coupled with level top line and moderately angulated in the rear. Moved well when settled. 2 Copeland & Copeland’s Tendell Tootie Frootie At Maxjabar Pretty shaded red. Well-proportioned head with good bite and pigment. Enough neck, square in outline, level top line with well set and carried tail. Handled to best advantage. Open Bitch - 1 1 Irwing’s Tanlap Timeless Touch At Beaconpride JW Two year old shaded red of good size and substance. Stands square. Lovely head properties with good eye and ears giving correct expression. Good bite and pigment. Enough neck, well laid shoulders onto straight legs and neat feet. Good depth and breadth all through. Well ribbed. Level top line with correctly placed and held tail. Shown in good coat and condition. Moved well in all directions to BB and later BIS. Special Open (AOC than Red) Bitch - 2 (1) 1 Rhodes & Reece’s Beaconpride Hocus Pocus At Wynchobe Eighteen month old black who stands square in outline. Feminine head with good eye, bite and pigment. Good length of neck, onto correct shoulders, level top line and moderately angulated rear. Moved well in profile. Special Open (Smooth) Bitch - 1 1 Clare’s Beneleo Brasilia VW One I’ve judged previously and many of my comments still apply. Shaded red who belies her years. Lovely head and expression, good thick well-set ears of good size. Good clean eye, excellent bite and the best of pigments. Good neck onto well laid shoulder, straight well boned legs and neat feet. Good depth and width to chest, well ribbed and short coupled. Moderately angulated rear with firm well let down hocks. Moved well in all directions. BSIS & BVIS. Veteran Bitch - 4 1 Clare’s Beneleo Brasilia VW As above 2 Clucas’ Ch Hiswin Star Dreams JW Very feminine 10 year old shown in good coat. Excellent head properties. Good eye, broad flat skull, thick well placed and held ears. Enough neck, good shoulders, good depth of chest, well ribbed and short coupled. Well set and carried tail. Moved well.
