AVNSC TERRIER

Puppy (2)

1 Jojalane I Drink Wine – SBT Red and White – lovely strong headed dog who moved well, correct bite, expression preferred his movement to 2. BP

2 Carradine Sir Percival – Cairn – Dog who presented a nice profile with good head, bite and dark eye. Moved OK but needs to straighten in front.

Junior (Absent)

Postgraduate (1)

1 Skircoat Scarpia – Scottish Terrier Black Brindle – Upstanding Dog who presented a balanced profile, positive movement with excellent coat and lovely head with dark eye stood alone.

Open (6,2)

1 Saffini Smooth Operator at Julibidd – SCWT – was balanced both stood and on the move, he kept a good top line and moved with reach and drive. Dark eye correct bite. Good depth of colour with well textured coat. BOB

2 Pasgal Reach Out and Touch – Black SBT – excellent head, with dark eye, big teeth, correct bite and well muscled body, full of substance and moved soundly with purpose, unlucky to meet 1 today. RBOB

BEDLINGTON TERRIER

PUPPY (2)

1 Silverkinn Madam Grand Slam – 10 month bitch, good bite, good eye. Pads correct. coat of correct texture. BP

2 Silverkinn The Nutcracker – 7 month dog – Correct in all ways but needs to gain confidence in the ring to fulfil his potential.

Junior (1)

1 Silverkinn Craving Caneles – Bitch 13 month – Correct head with good bite and dark eye. Balanced on stand and moved with purpose. Coat texture excellent with good pads BOB

Post Graduate (2)

1 Kinnuva Expresso Elixir – Bitch – Lovely type with good head, bite and eye, sound on move, correct coat texture but lacking in ring confidence. Good pads.

2 Silverkinn Spy Aston Martin – Dog – good head, eye and bite. Movement not good and lost top line on move (he was withdrawn from another class so I suspect an underlying problem)

1 Kinnuva Caramel Indulgence – Bitch – Feminine Bitch with nice head with dark eye, well groomed coat, bite ok. Good pads moved well. RBOB

IRISH TERRIER

Puppy (1)

1 Owen-Brucephela Phoebe – Pretty 7 month Bitch her coat is starting to harden and come through, dark eye with head developing, correct bite. A well balanced who moved OK. (BP)

Postgraduate (1,1)

Open (4,1)

1 Simons – Brucephela Quito Berry – 2 year old dog with correct head shape, small dark eye and correct bite. Harsh double coat. Moved the best in this class. (BOB)

2 Atkin – Holbam Celtic Rose (AI) JW – Deep Red bitch, with good head shape, dark eye and good mouth, harsh coat. Moved OK.

3 Bradshaw – Holbam Midsummer Sprite (AI)

JACK RUSSELL TERRIER

Puppy (1)

1 Witmond – Tiltser Mint Velvet – 8 month Bitch who owned the ring, she oozed character. Moved so sound and true with reach and drive. Lovely head with good keen dark eye and correct bite with big teeth. Well set ears laying close. Strong neck leading to good layback of shoulder and easily spanned. (BP,BOB & BPIG)

1 Thornley & Smith – Tilster Take it to the Limit – Litter brother to BOB, similar remarks to above but lacks her character. Well balanced stood and on the move. Promising puppy (RBOB)

Postgraduate (2,1)

1 Thornley & Smith – Dancing in the Dark at Robythorn – Nice type of dog with good head, expression and correct bite. Harsh waterproof jacket. Strong neck and balanced outline, moved well.

Open (3,2)

1 Thornley & Smith – Fast Love with Locheil ShCEx – Excellent type, with lovely head, good bite and correct expression. Well balanced dog with harsh coat and he moved soundly with drive.

Parson Russell Terrier

Junior (1)

1 Stock – Shemist Storm Lily – 12 month old bitch, very well balanced on the stand with correct bite and good head and eye. Spannable and moved ok needs to tighten up in front. (BOB)

Postgraduate (1)

1 Levitt – Proveits White Sally – Petite but typey bitch who was easily spanned. Good head, nice dark eye and expression, harsh coat, moved ok.

Open (2,1)

1 Stock – Vixenview Monterey of Shemist – Could do a days work, good sort of Bitch easily spanned. Moved OK, She had a good head with dark eye and correct mouth. (RBOB)

AV Terrier

Puppy (7)

1 Impey – Silverkinn Madam Grand Slam (Bedlington Terrier) – (see previous critique)

2 Hall – Ravenside Ramona (Border Terrier) – Typey puppy with good head, dark eye and correct bite. Harsh coat easily spanned and moved well for a baby, just needs to tighten in front.

3 Bassford-Lane – Jojalane I Drink Wine ( SBT)

Junior (3,1)

1 Impey – Silverkinn Craving Canelles Bedlington Terrier) – (see previous critique)

2 Hall – Borderrush The Last Sprout(Border Terrier) – good sort of youngster, a bit unsettled on table and move but had a correct head, dark eye and good mouth, spannable with hard jacket and good pelt.

1 Atkin – CH Holbam Celtic Rose (AI) JW – 9 year old Irish Terrier who belied her age, beautiful condition and moved so soundly, super head with dark small eye, excellent correct bite. Just a beautiful bitch who I learnt afterwards I had given a group win to 6 years ago. (BVIG)

2 Tuffin – Harswelin Veritas with Oatberry (Border Terrier) – 7 year old dog who was full of type, with lovely head, dark eye and correct mouth. Moved with reach and drive. Harsh jacket with thick pelt. Spannable.
