A super entry for this well organised show. Plenty of quality made decisions difficult and there was plenty of competition in the group.

1 Clinton’s Sonham Just Over The Moon at Oramiss
Well grown b/w boy of 11 months. Lovely shaped head with dark eyes. Good reach of neck, well laid shoulders Good length of rib. He moved well for a youngster. BP and PG3.
2 Stilgoe and Fox’s Teisgol Rose Campion
Well constructed o/w with good legs and feet. Plenty of shape in the head and well placed ears. Good length of rib giving balance and heart room. Just not as together on the move as the winner.
3 Beston and Smith’s Sonham Just Because
Junior (3,1)
1 Swannell’s Sharnphilly Black Abbott
13 month b/w with dark eyes, long clean neck and straight front legs on good feet. Just needs time to fill out and should go on to do well.

1 O’Neill’s Tenshilling Shboom
Just out of junior and full of ring presence. Strongly made through but balanced having good angulation both front and rear. Strong over his loins and well ribbed giving correct length. He moved the best in this class. Looked well.
2 Clinton’s Hawkfield Happy Feet at Oramiss
This 20 months o/w showed a happy disposition and good attitude. He has a good head with nice eye shape and good ear carriage. Clean neck of good length. Just lacked the finish of the winner today.
3 Lake’s Lithespirit Daisy Hamilton
Open (6,2) – A lovely class to judge.
1 Philo’s Sunhouse Black is Back at Salmonmist
Smart looking 2 year old with a good outline standing and moving to advantage in the limited space available. Lovely head with plenty of work round the eyes. Well off for substance without being coarse. He has super feet, deep chest and strength across his quarters. Used his tail well on the move Best of Breed and later Group 3 in strong competition.
2 Stilgoe and Oliver’s Teisgol Heaven Sent
Plenty to admire on this 3 year old b/w. Finer type with good over all make and shape. She has well boned front legs and correct feet. Well-proportioned moderate quarters. She moved with drive and purpose.

Well constructed youngster with so much to like here. Well shaped head with dark eyes, good length of neck. Straight, well boned front. She has a good length of rib and is so honest and free from exaggeration. She moved well for her 7 months. Should go on to do well. Best Puppy and Gundog PG1.
2 Henson and Luckham’s Flyngalee Hunky Dory
Well grown boy with plenty of strength. Plenty of width to his skull and correct ear placement. Well ribbed with good depth to his body.

2 Moore’s Tenfield Klipspringer with Auryngra
This 16 month boy was not liking the floor surface and did not do himself justice. Lovely expression with dark, kind eyes. Good legs and feet. Would like to see him outdoors.

1 Lane and Lane Ridyard’s Hardyllic Jack of Diamonds at Kulawand
Lovely two year old with plenty of work in his head and kind dark eyes. Strong bone without excess. He has a good length of neck which leads into well laid shoulders. Good length of rib and strong over the quarters. He moved well in the space available.
2 Walker and Roberts’ Lamancha Trust Your Heart with Gloi
Another two year old that is so well constructed. Dark gold in colour and well angulated front and rear. She too, moved well.

1 Henson’s Cinderbank Move It
I judged this boy as a youngster and again last year and pleased to see how he has come on. Well shaped head with good width of skull and length of muzzle. Well boned front legs lead to round feet. Well ribbed with good width, enough depth and firm over his couplings. He has good rear angulation and moved with reach and drive. Best of Breed and later group 4 in good company.
2 List’s Haydengold Gossip Girl
Feminine girl also looking well. She has a well balanced head with dark eyes. Clean neck of good length leads to well boned straight front of good width. She is well bodied with good width to her ribs and firm over the loins. Good rear angulation with well bent stifles and good width to her thighs. Moved straight and true.

1 Walker and Roberts’ Flat Coat Gloi Dubh Mormaer
What an honest type. He is 10 months old and developing along the right lines. Refined head of good length with good jaw and well placed ears. He is well made through with good shoulder angulation, good bone and strong pasterns. Well ribbed and firm in top line. He has well angulated quarters and was in lovely body and coat. Moving well but needed a larger ring to show himself to advantage. BP and later PG2.
2 Morgan’s Eng Setter, Latjeata Vivaldi
Lovely young b of 9 months showing well and enjoying her time in the ring. She has a well shaped head with typical expression and kind dark eyes. Straight front of correct width leads down to good feet. As expected at her age, she needs to develop in body but has a good tail set and well bent stifles. She shows plenty of promise.

1 Danks Kemish and Littlechild’s Eng Setter Ravensett Just An Illusion with Alolfrana
Eyecatching o/b boy of 14 months. Smartly presented and moving with style and verve. Balanced head with plenty of work and soft expression. Long clean neck Well boned through. He has good length to his ribs and firm coupling’s. Well angulated quarters. In good coat. Will be interesting to see how he develops.
2 Welburn’s Eng Setter Oshowa Just A Dream
So honest and true to type. Not as forward as the winner but good make and shape. Feminine head with good ear placement, clean neck, balanced in body. She has a good rear angulation and moved well here.

1 Peebles’ GSP Seasham Too Much Heaven
Just out of junior and so fit and well. Good head with correct length of muzzle and correct ear placement. Straight, well boned front with enough width. Well ribbed through with good depth of chest and firm over the loins givig a correct top line. Strong quarters with plenty of thigh width and well turned stifles.
2 Derry, Schoneville and Williamson’s Eng Setter, Hawklawn Hazzard County at Balvenie
What a promising boy, nothing over done here. Lacked the finish of the winner. Very correct through and just right for his age. Balanced head with correct stop and defined occiput. Kind expression helped by dark eyes and well placed ears. Balanced in body. He has well laid shoulders and good rear angulation. He moved well enough here but needed a larger ring to fully extend himself.

One I have seen regularly over her show career. Maturing well and improving all of the time. Balanced in outline, she has nicely tucked in elbows. Well-shaped head with work below her eyes. Good width and depth to her chest. She is moderately angulated behind. Shown in good coat of correct colour.
2 Ward’s WSS Glenbrows Flame for Tantataraviz
Another rich coloured girl presented to advantage. Attractive head with soft expression. Good reach of neck, she has good depth to her body.
Open (10,4) What a super class with quality down the line. A pleasure to judge.
1 Whitehouse’s Clumber Sh Ch Maursett Mallachie at Molvonia
Mature boy, now 6 years old. I have previously awarded him top honours and no reason to change my opinion today. Strongly made through with plenty of substance but without coarseness. Masculine head with well-shaped eyes and broad nose. Strong neck leads to well angulated shoulders. He is well off for ribs with width and depth. Strong quarters. He has good width to his thighs and used them effectively to move with drive. Best NSC Group 1 in a highly contested group.
2 Walker and Roberts’ FCR Gloi Dubh Christopher Robin
Another from the top drawer! Mature and presented a lovely outline. Refined head with good reach of neck and well laid shoulders. He has well developed ribs and is firm over his loins giving correct top line. Well angulate quarters with hocks let down nicely, He moved well and was presented in good body and coat condition.

Full of puppyness! Took time to settle on the move but showed enough to prove that she can move well. Pleasing head with good ear placement, strong neck. Well ribbed with good length of back.

Such a well made 5 year old who has been and still is an ambassador for the breed. Stands on strong legs, he has a balanced head with well shaped eyes and good bite. Well bodied with firm top line. Has a good set on of tail and was presented in correct coat and condition.

Another well made dog. He has a well shaped head with good stop and strong jaws. Well bodied with good width to his chest. Moved to advantage.

Had to be on top form to win this strong class. Moving out well and covering the ring easily and cleanly. Sets a good impression standing and this is confirmed on closer inspection.
2 O’Neill’s Pointer Sh Ch Tenshilling Home Alone
Worthy Champion now 10 years old and still full of quality. Well constructed with good front assembly. Well ribbed and moving with purpose from well angulated quarters.
3 Taylor’s IRWS Laoirebay Monte Carlo
Gundog Group. A hotly contested group with plenty of quality.
