Puppy (1)

1. Samson’s Estet Classic Sherwood Tales of Romaclove (Imp EST). 7 month old

brindle/white male of pleasing proportions. He is understandably raw and needs time to

grow on and finish off, particularly in depth and fill of chest. Good head, long muscular neck

into well laid shoulders. He has a well angulated front and balanced quarters giving him

good reach and drive on the move, holding his topline.

Special Yearling (1)

1. Cutter & Lubin’s Ina’s Fashion Halo over Chosovi (Imp Deu). Appealed to me today for her

typical, smooth and graceful series of curves. Long head of good width and strength to

underjaw. Long muscular neck flows greatly into her forequarters. Well laid shoulders,

complimented by super return of upper arm sitting the front legs well beneath the body.

Chest reaching to elbow with good spring and carried well back. A graceful series of smooth

curves over the loin and into the croup, with correct tailset and carriage. Well angulated

hind quarters, complimented by good width and strength to 1 st  and 2 nd  thighs. Moves with

good width behind and has a free, fluid side gait. Would have perhaps just liked her a little

cleaner coming towards. A great combination of substance and elegance. BOB.

Limit (2,1)

1. Ball’s Boughton Back In Time. Red brindle bitch with an excellent head, well set rose

shaped ears and long strong neck. Well sprung ribs carried well back. Graceful curve over

the loin but a little steep in croup. Moved true coming towards but would like more drive in

the rear going away and in profile.

Open (3,2)

1. Ellison’s Boughton Back To Basics. A lot to like about this brindle bitch, she is feminine

and elegant with good proportions and balance. Excellent head with well set ears. Elegantly

arched neck with great angulation in front and well sprung pasterns. Great shape to topline,

strong slightly arched loin leading into well angulated hind quarters. The most accurate

moving away and back today. A little unhappy initially moving around the ring, but once

settled on a loose lead had a much better shape with excellent reach and drive. If she had

performed with confidence she could have very well challenged the BOB winner. RBOB.

Special Open Racing/Lure Coursing (5,1)

1. Fairman’s Luna Eclipse. This brindle parti bitch stood out in the initial go around in this

class for her great shape to top and underline, well set croup and good tail carriage. Could

have more angulation front and rear. Moves with good width in the rear and had the most

fluid movement in profile in this class.

2. Fairman’s Hondas Thunder. I was not surprised to find out after judging that 1 & 2 were

litter brother and sister. This dog moved very well coming and going and with a good stride

in profile but not quite the curves of the winner and slightly high in tail set and carriage.

3. Prince & Ballantine’s Westview Puddles.
