Yeovil & District Canine Society

Thank to Yeovil & District Canine Society for inviting me to judge their Open Show. Thankfully the weather stayed good, albeit windy, but a lovely location to hold a dog show. Thank you to all the exhibitors who chose to come under me as their judge; this was my first Open show appointment for these breeds, so I appreciate all my entries of lovely dogs. It was a little difficult to judge the movement of the dogs today with the slightly longer grass, but I tried to get the dogs to move as much as possible to give them the best chance.

O (2,0) 1 Bull & Warren’s ZARALEE I’M STILL STANDING AT STARFERRY (IMP IRE), 5 year old Dog. A relatively large head, displaying a moderate stop and the desired equal length of muzzle to skull. While the head exhibits slightly more wrinkling than ideal, the mouth was good with good bite. The dog is of a nice height and was pretty equal in length from P.O.S. to P.O.B. Deep broad chest and a good depth of brisket. The tail was also good, set high and carried correctly. BOB. 2 Bull & Warren’s JOLEROB ONE WAY OF PUTTIN IT AT STARFERRY, 2 year old Bitch. Showing good structure with moderate wrinkling on forehead and cheeks, and a good mouth. The small, triangular ears are well-placed. While the skin is slightly looser, it's not excessive. The muzzle, though not as broad as first, is still well-formed. The dog's build appeared slightly taller than long, but still within breed specific height. RBOB
