Breed: Norfolk Terrier

Thank you to the Whitstable & District Canine Society for the invitation to judge at their Open Show. A huge thank you to all who exhibited under me, it was a pleasure to go over your dogs.

Norfolk Terrier

J (1,0) 1 Nash’s RAPHIGGY DILYS SHE IS A ONE, 10½-month-old Bitch. A pleasing youngster with an endearing temperament and a promising outlook. Displays good breed type with a feminine head, well-balanced skull, and neat, correct ears. Scissor bite is clean. Hindquarters are developing nicely with sound angulation, which showed in her steady and confident movement. Coat is typical for age — soft and not yet fully through — but acceptable at this stage. Overall, a charming puppy with much to like; one to watch as she matures. BPIB. Really pleased to see this bitch to go on and win TPG2.

PG (1,0) 1 Nash’s SILVERLILY OF HOUSENASH AT RAPHIGGY, 3-year-old Bitch on her Birthday! A nicely put together bitch with pleasing expression and good breed type. Eye is of correct shape and set, contributing to a keen and alert expression. Good mouth with a clean scissor bite. Well laid-back shoulders and good front assembly. Slightly taller than the junior, but still within balance. Tail carried jauntily. Topline held level on the move and at rest. Coat of good harsh texture and presented well. Good rear angulation and moved with confidence. RBOB.

O (1,0) 1 Nash’s EARTHTAW OWAIN THE CELT AT RAPHIGGY JW ShCEx OSW, 3-year-old Dog. A well-balanced male with lovely breed characteristics and overall ring presence. Head of good proportions with a well-shaped skull, neat ears and correct expression. Clean scissor bite. Forequarters, body and hindquarters all well-developed and in excellent condition. Tail carried jauntily and wagging — full of typical Norfolk spirit. Moved soundly both front and rear with drive. Harsh coat of good texture and well presented. A very pleasing example of the breed. BOB. Very pleased to see this go on to gain TG2.
