1. Knight’s Talanors Typical Tanzanite. Lovely baby of seven months, balanced all through with a super head and expression, well set ears, darkest of eyes, nicely arched neck, good angulation both ends, stands on neat feet, well schooled and moved very well for such a baby. BP.

2. Straughan & Cripps’ Talanors Typical Topaz At Mannikai. Litter sister to the winner at her first show, not quite at the same stage just yet, well angulated and shapely, fairly well balanced and although not as outgoing as her sister she shows a lot of promise.

3. Bailey’s Magicus Silvestris Bad Princess (Imp NOR).

SY (2)

1. Knight’s Talanors True Magic. This nine month old bitch is of a very nice type, pretty head with lovely colouring, she carries a good front and compact body, just needs to tighten up in hind movement and she will trouble the best.

2. Bailey’s Magicus Silvestris Prins Peter Pan (Imp NOR). Well grown for his seven months this lad has a masculine head with well placed ears, shapely body and very good turn of stifle, nice feet, does tend to pace at slow speeds, moved better on the go round.

L (3)

1. Bailey & Hancocks’ Rattustrap Crimes At Night. Handsome male of nineteen months, well balanced In head and body with a nice outline, enough angulation and moved very well.

2. Swart’s Plantocracy Dapper Dexter. Three year old male with a masculine head, ears a bit fly away, well arched neck, rather long in loin and straight in stifle, moving a little wide behind, in lovely coat and condition.

3. Walker’s Wystry Depths Of Glory For Sizlin JW.

O (6)

1. Walshaw’s Ch Kentwone Lyra At Janmark JW. Elegant four year old bitch with the loveliest head and expression, not the biggest but all in proportion and carries a lovely outline, well angulated front and rear and moved with purpose. BOB.

2. Davies-Brown’s Wystry Agony And Ecstasy JW. Two year old male with a masculine head, ears a tad low set, good front and shapely body, enough rear angulation although hocks could be a tad lower, moved well enough.

3. Plant’s Spring Wren At Plantocracy JW.

BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG

Surprised to find a couple of level bites in this entry, perhaps needs watching.

P (4, 1)

1. Watson’s Etterbern Gozan To Stepdashar. Three pups at very different stages, this eight month old male had the better head of the three, he has a good front and compact body, strong back but tends to rise over the loin, good angulation both ends, feet could perhaps be a bit tighter, covered the ground well. BP.

2. English, Hallam & Hallam’s Waldershelf Prim’N Proper. The baby of the class, this six month old bitch has a sweet expression, head needs to flatten a touch, body compact and rather square in outline at present, tends to stand a bit wide in front, good rear angulation, moved well once settled.

3. Carman’s Lecollinedicaro Kalinka NAF TAF.

L (3, 2)

1. Reid & Givens’ Fortonpark Senator At Mytrue. This two year old male has a masculine head with a strong muzzle, excellent front, enough neck into a strong, straight back, well angulated both ends, neat feet, moved very well with an easy action. Nice type.

O (3, 1)

1. Manix, Manix & English’s Ch Waldershelf Bjorn To Be King JW. Impressive two year old top size male, masculine head, good front and balanced throughout in body, good turn of stifle, in lovely coat and condition and moved out well commanding the ring. BOB.

2. Lecollinedicaro Kalinka NAF TAF. Third in Puppy, she is rather narrow in head at this stage, general outline is ok, angulations ok both ends, coat a tad curly, she has the frame to fill but time is on her side.

PYRENEAN MOUNTAIN DOG

Lovely entry, thanks to the sporting exhibitors.

J (3)

1. Baverstock’s Kalkasi The Eternal Quest. Three from the same litter, almost eight months and all very promising, but this girl had the edge on development at this stage, strong but feminine head, well set dark eyes, good strength of muzzle, underjaw developing well, balanced throughout with good front angulation, feet could perhaps tighten to advantage, double dew claws (as did all in this entry), enough rear angulation, coat coming through nicely, well schooled and moving with good drive from the rear. BP.

2. Greenfield’s Kalkasi Eternal Legacy. Masculine head on this boy, strong neck into a good topline, balanced throughout, does tend to pace on the go round, going to be a slow maturer I feel.

3. Baverstock’s Kalkasi Eternal Destiny.

L (1)

1. Kennedy’s Gamuvel Patou Via Dell Amore At Pyrcot (Imp LVA). Two year old bitch, strong but feminine head, well balanced and good proportions throughout, good front with tight feet, enough rear angulation, held her topline on the move, in lovely coat and condition.

OD (5, 4)

1. Baverstock’s Ch Kalkasi Just Because JW. Four year all male, masculine head which is well balanced, strong muzzle, good neck into a level topline, excellent front and rear angulation, strong dew claws, well proportioned throughout and covered the ground with ease, in super coat and condition. BOB

1. Irving’s Twinan True Grit. Fifteen month old brindle and white male, fabulous head and expression, balanced throughout, good front angulation, stands on tight feet, decent length of back and holds a strong topline, enough rear angulation, in good coat, moving well but a bit proud of his tail.

L (2, 1)

1. Irving’s Twinan Truly Outrageous. Litter sister to the previous class winner, and not quite as together as her brother at this stage, feminine head, ears a tad loose, she has a decent front and tight feet, good length of back, well angulated and moved well.

O (4)

1. Taylor’s Ch Chris Team Bakalia For Tamlin (Imp POL) JW. Two year old brindle and white bitch, super type with a balanced head and lovely expression, well placed and used ears, good body proportions and holding her topline, well angulated both ends, shown in super coat and condition, moved like she owned the ring. BOB.

2. Fitzpatrick-Graham’s Ch Ancksunamun Hallows Eve JW. Three year old brindle bitch, have loved this one since she was a baby, just unlucky to meet the winner in such top form today. She has a feminine head with darkest of eyes, correct ears, good front placement, holds a level topline and well angulated at both ends, shown in good coat and condition and moving with drive.
