Junior Handling

6-11

1.Emily Windler

I rarely get blown away but wow this handler is perfect. Handling a Toller , Emily had her dog presented correctly at all times. When being assessed Emily instantly noticed me moving her dog’s back leg. When moving her dog, she has clean lines and completed the correct pattern work effortlessly. This young girl will go very far.

2.Isabella Gardner

Another well turned out young lady who handled her dog expertly. Just needs to make her turns a bit neater but Isabella was very polite and you could tell she had a fabulous bond with her dog. I’d be happy to let Isabella handle any of my dogs.

3.Jack Davis

12-16

1.George Gardner

I’ve seen George previously in the handling rings and have always enjoyed watching him handle. He was dressed very smart, and moved at the correct pace at all times. He was always smiling and giving his dog affection in the ring which was nice to see. George will go very far.

2.Maeve Parry

This was a hard class, both these handlers were almost on par. Today Maeve’s pattern work was slightly messy which lost her out. Maeve is a very competent handler but on this day George was neater overall.

Adult handling

17-35

1.Rebecca Harvey

Smartly dressed handler showing her poodle, neither one of these handlers noticed me moving their dog’s back leg so make sure to look out for that. Rebecca used all her corners and went at the correct pace.

2.Shannon Griffin

Handling a Jap spitz. Shannon seemed nervous in the ring which unsettled her dog. Her corners weren't as neat as 1st but with practice I believe Shannon will make a fabulous handler.

36 and over

1.Janett Rice

Handling her Tibetan Spaniel. Janett presented her dog in the correct way. She had neat pattern work, watching the dog and the judge at all times. She was very precise when showing teeth and when shadowing was needed. You can tell Janett has put a lot of time into training her dogs and it really pays off. Well done Janett.

2.Gordon Leaver

Handling a Shetland Sheepdog, this handler was a breath of fresh air. Gordon was a relaxed handler who did everything at ease without over handling his dog. It was very obvious Gordon loves his dog. His lines were precise and used the ring to his advantage. It was a pleasure to judge him.
