1. Middleton & Mayhew’s Sh Ch Arnac Bay Hebe WGC ShCEx EW22

Two quality exhibits in this class. Won this class on overall maturity. Presents a balanced outline with a super coat. Head of correct proportions, broad and round with good eye and ears set correctly. Neck is muscular with well laid back shoulder. Straight forelegs with slightly sloping pasterns. Standing on decent feet that are rounded. Stifles well turned, Nice muscular rear quarters. Deep chest and level topline. Good powerful mover effortless and a pleasure to watch. Best of Breed

2. Middleton & Mayhew’s Arnac Bay Jellicoe JW

A much younger one but with many attributes of 1 (apparent that this is her daughter) Again a lovely outline and moves really well for her age, good powerful drive but effortless and smooth. Super head that is broad and well rounded with good eye and correct ear set. Neck medium length and muscular, shoulders well laid back. Level topline held well on the move. Super rear muscle and well turned stifle. Chest is deep. Nice slope to pasterns and super bone all through. Just a bit gay with her tail today but a very close up 2nd Reserve Best of Breed.

Absolute pleasure to judge the breed today, a super entry and some quite tough decisions

Puppy (2/0)

1. Healey’s Marsabit Celtic Harp 11mth B

Presents a lovely balanced outline. Nice feet well rounded. Skull is broad with correct proportions, nose black. Eyes set well with ears set in line with eyes. Correct scissor bite. Neck of good length a muscular. Forelegs are straight and elbows tight. Nice muscular hind with well bent stifles. Topline level and held well on the move. Good tail carriage. Movement in profile was great with a good stride. A little messy going away at this stage. In good coat. Best Puppy

2. Henson & Luckham’s Flyingalee Hunky Dory 6mth D

A much younger dog and a little raw at the moment. A nice shape. Lovely kind expression. Skull is broad with eyes set well and nice ear. Correct scissor bite. Good muscular neck of decent length. Nice deep chest with well sprung rib. Forelegs could be a little straighter but good amount of bone. Well bent stifles and good muscle. Feet need to tighten up slightly. Tails set on and carried well. Moved out well for ages just needs to come together a little. Another in good coat and one to watch as he matures.

1. Smith & Hill’s Rosgar Mr Lover Lover 16mth D

Mature boy, lovely masculine head that is broad, good proportions. Neck good length and well muscled. Nice rounded feet. Shoulders well laid back. Decent amount of bone and nice straight forelegs. Balanced profile, Well sprung ribs. Good topline - level and carried well on the move. Well bent stifles and well muscled rear. A little proud of his tail on the move. But really nice long stride in profile which won him the class today.

2. Linfield’s Tonara Yellowstone 17mth D

Loved the head on this boy, masculine without being overdone at all. Good proportions, correct scissor bite. Neck moderate and muscular, Shoulders well laid back. Elbows tight. In profile just a little longer but with a nice firm level lopline and well sprung rib. Hocks are well let down with

 good muscle in the rear, could be a little straighter. Good coat, moved out really well in profile with a nice stride just a little messy coming to today.

A very close class, just preferred 1 in profile today. Super head of really nice proportions, good ear set and nice eye. Skull is broad enough. Good neck that moderate in length with good muscle. Feet rounded. Good amount of bone. Ribs well sprung. Presents a little longer in profile. Well muscled hind with well turn stifle. Topline level and carried well with good tail carriage.

1. Seamon’s Ramchaine Luminescence Over Messano (IMP NLD) JW 2yr B

A super profile. With good proportions all through. Head of correct proportions. Ears set correctly in line with eye. Neck muscular. Shoulder well laid back, well sprung ribs and correct level topline. Move out well with a good stride and true fore/aft. Nice bone and super feet. Tail carried correctly. Hind quarters muscular and hocks well let down. Did tick my boxes today Best of Breed

2. Pouds-Longhurst’s Mossburn Galloping Major JW 4yr B

Another with a super head and expression. Correct ear and eye with nice broad skull and neck of moderate length, correct scissor bite. Shoulders well laid back and good spring of rib. Super feet and nice amount of bone. Topline level. Good bend of stifle and well muscled. Hocks well let down and straight. Good tail set. Just couldn’t quite match 1 on the move today Res Best of Breed

What a super class of puppies I was absolutely spoilt for choice here splitting hairs for places

1. Walker’s Dexbenella Livin The Dream 6mth D

Won this class on movement, he is compact and very well put together. Skull medium in length, Cheeks flat, well chiselled below the eyes. Good eye with a super kind expression with a little bit of mischief in there too. Lovely ears of good length close to the head and set level with the eye. Correct scissor bite. Nice straight forelegs. Shoulders well laid. Deep chest and good spring of rib. Feet well rounded and tight. Good tail carriage. Lovely free movement with a good drive from the rear.

2. Weyman’s Spuffing Bellini 6mth B

Another youngster but with so much to like, just fell short on movement today, but can see so much more to come from this youngster. Super head with correct proportions, nice flat cheeks and another with good chiselling. Neck of good length. Straight forelegs and well boned. Well laid shoulder and elbow close fitting. Good feet well rounded. A little erratic on the move but could easily swap places with 1 when all together.

1. Walker’s Dexbenella A Million Dreams 6mth B

Sister to puppy class winner. But what a super youngster I really liked her a lot. She has a good head with correct broadness, rounded. Neck of good length that is well muscled for a youngster. Correct scissor bite. Really nice bone and straight forelegs with elbows tight. Feet are compact and tight. Moderate bend of stifle with well muscled thigh for age. Tail set correct and carried well. She moved so well for one so young, impressive throwing the feet forward and really striding out with good drive from the rear. Best Puppy

2. Williams & Toublic’s Cobhay Heavenly Hydrangea Bel JCH 17mth B


A compact bitch with lots to like. Nice head, of correct proportions. Neck moderate length but muscled enough. Shoulders sloping. Elbows tight. A little narrow all through, well sprung rib and well muscled thigh. Presents a little longer in body than 1. Moved well just a little close coming to.

Lost out today on movement, wasn’t quite sure if it was the hard surface but as a little light on one rear leg. Lovely head, correct ear set. Good eye. Neck muscular, well laid shoulder sloping. Good tail set. Well muscled thighs. Forelegs straight - a good amount of bone. Feet tight and compact.

1. Weyman’s More than Amazing Wanna Be A Gangster At Spuffing JW (IMP BEL) 2yr D

Striking tri-colour boy who I have judged previously when he was much younger. A lot still applies he is a much bigger dog but not overdone in any way. Won today on movement which was easy and free with excellent drive, owning the ring in the challenge. He has a good head, of correct proportions with good eye and ear set. Well off for bone with nice straight forelegs and tight feet. Well bent stifle and nice broad thighs. His chest is deep and very well developed with a good spring of rib. Best of Breed

2. Walker’s Dexbenella It’s Only Me 2yr B

A close up second, I really did like this bitch, super type and lovely head proportions, super ears set correct in line with eye. Neck moderate and well muscled, Shoulders sloping. Good amount of bone all through with good straight forelegs. Super feet. Well muscled hindquarters with Nic broad thigh. Tail set on well. Moved really well - her profile movement is super. Could easily swap with 1 today Res Best of Breed.

What a super stakes class I was so spoilt for choice today and a shortlist of just 10 was difficult! 1. Willy’s All I Wanted Labando (Lagotto Romagnolo) 2yr D

Won me over today - what a super lagotto, he is a squarely built dog. Moderately broad head with a lot of specific breed features in the head present, wedge shaped muzzle and correct proportions all through. Good muscular shoulder - correct topline with a slight fall from withers to croup. Well bent stifles. Good feet that are compact. Super mover that was smooth with lots of drive.

2. Weller’s Sabisabi Apache Tonka At Geenawell (American Cocker) 2yr D

Couldn’t ignore this super boy who really owned the ring, with such a smooth and effortless movement he covered the ground in a big ring. Well rounded skull with clear median line. Good lobular ears of good length. Neck long and well muscled. Correct body proportions and good straight forelegs and compact rounded feet. Well let down hocks. In super coat.
