Apologies. This was one of two critiques that were corrupted and had to be rewritten from the start.

Norwegian Buhund

Limit. 1. Draccus Obsidan at Bucamereru. Alone but a quality Buhund. Black bitch. Nice type. Well balanced. Typical head with nice eye and correctly placed, well-shaped ear. Good depth of chest and well ribbed. Good bone. Could have a tighter foot. Nice topline and good highest tail which is correctly curled. Very nice jacket of good length and super hard texture. Moved well and was well handled.

Old English Sheepdog

This was a nice class to judge. Puppy 1. Mkaylen Savanna Pearl. Ten month old bitch. Thought her quite a nice promising youngster. Overall presents the correct outline. Good head with good width across the skull and good strong muzzle. Nicely pigmented eye rim. Good length to her strong neck. Well laid shoulder. Good short body and well sprung. Well angulated rear. Good tight foot. Moved well. Super harsh coat and good dense undercoat. 2. Kerjalee Dressed To Impress at Mopill. Another quality bitch. Pleasing head of correct proportions and of required strength. Good deep chest. Good bone. Not quite as short as 1. Good breadth of a strong loin. Good hind angulation. Super reach in front although could be little better behind. Good jacket. 3. Amblehart Mr Banks At Darwillow

Special Yearling 1. Shabbybo Mineral Mist. One year old male. I liked him for his overall size and shape. Good head of correct proportions. Nice neck of good length and decent strength. Well laid shoulder. Good bone. Well sprung. Good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Moved well with lovely front action. 2. Kerjalee About Me. Nice bitch but today wasn’t too confident just needs some time. Pleasing overall body proportions. Nice rear. Just needs to grow some confidence and preferred the length of muzzle on 1.

Limit 1. Melleonars Keep It CoolBranston at Jandoes JW. Really liked this male. Masculine square dog combing strength and balance. Super head properties with good strength to the muzzle. Well defined stop. Good eye and correct ear carriage. Good front and stands on good bone and good tight foot. Short and well ribbed. Good depth to the chest. Good hind angulation which is in no way overdone. Correct gait with ideal head carriage. In the best of jackets and well put down. IN good hard muscular condition. BOB.

Pyrenean Mountain Dog

Puppy 1. Kalkasi Purely By Chance. Young raw youngster. On initial inspection it is clear that he is of a lovely shape and type and promising. However today rather unsure of himself. Did pull himself together enough for me to see a lovely side gait and correctly carried tail. He has a very typical head and a beautiful pigment. Just needs time.

Special Yearling 1. Kalkasi As If By Magic. 8 month old and a little more sure of herself than her brother. Impressive head with a beautifully curved skull of good width. Clean in back skull. Lovely shaped eye and good pigment. Good neck and shoulder. Lovely bone and feet. Needs to still fill out but a lovely body of correct proportions. Good rear. Moved well. In super jacket. Not quite the side gait of her brother. Would like to see both when fully mature.

Limit 1. Shanlimore Marvyn. Upstanding dog. Good head with the best of eyes. Good width to skull although to be critical would prefer a little more underjaw. Good bone and nice feet. Just stands a fraction off in front. Good neck and shoulder. Good topline. Lovely hind quarters. Moved well with the best of tail carriage. Good coat.

Open 1. Ch Kalkasi Just Because. Really loved this male. Have written in my notes little to dislike. He has a beautiful head and expression. Is well made through. Best of bone and feet. Excellent rear. Sound as anything on the move. Finished in a correct coat with good mane and fringing. BOB.

Shetland Sheepdog

Nice entry

Puppy 1. Mohnesse The Charm Master. S/W. Overall presents a beautiful shape and is so well balanced. Has such a lovely clean head with correct overall proportions and good back skull. Nice dark correctly set eye and the best of ears. Stands on good bone and good tight foot. Wouldn’t want him any bigger but when he fills into himself, he will be a real stallion of a dog. Good topline and tail set. Good rear with well let down hocks. Moved with drive, was just picking up a fraction in front today. 2. Oakcroft Amazing Star. Another of lovely overall type and balance. Very nice head piece with a clean skull and correct amount of stop. Good eye. Well made through. Good topline. Good rear. Still in puppy coat. Moved very well. 3. Oakcroft Graceful Star

Special Yearling 1. Ferngrove’s Code Blue. B/Merle. Head markings not his fortune but when you see past this he has a very nice clean quality head and correct eye. Neat small ears which are used correctly. Nice through the neck and shoulder. Good straight forelegs of decent bone and good feet. Well sprung. Good topline. Nice angulation at the stifle. Moved well and accurately. 2. Myther Black Tarquin at Stormhead. Another quality male and another whose markings need seeing through on closer examination. Pleasing head with good ears. Angled well fore and rear and of good bone. Narrower through than 1. 3. Iskander Bohemia Classic for Oakcroft

Limit 1. Stanydlae Ocean Wave. Merle. Loved this male for balance and for type. Super head although if being very hypercritical good have a fraction less stop. Beautifully placed eye and lovely ears. Good front. Correct overall body proportions. Good topline and typical sweep over his loin. Good hindquarters. Very precise on the move. 2. Shelridge Quizmaster at Chelvermead. Tri coloured male. Typical head with neat ears. Nicely made with nice bone and feet. Nice topline and good overall rear angulation. Well let down hocks. In good bloom with lovely jacket. Just preferred 1 for size and movement today. 3. Kelgrove Midsummer Blue at Stormhead

Open 1. Mohnesse Dream Date of Lizmark. S/W. Easy winner for me. Scores in size, shape, balance, proportions and deportment. Has a super head of correct proportions, correct amount of stop, clean back skull, neat ears and good ey. Nice front and good rear, correct topline and moves precisely with correct head carriage. Very nice Shetland. BOB. 2. Mohnesse Meliya. Tri bitch. From the same kennel as 1 and equally as smart and typey. Good head of decent length and lovely and clean. Good ears used well. Well-made through. Good topline and tail set. Moved very well fore and aft. In good coat and condition. 3. Kelgrove Midsummer Blue at Stormhead

Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Puppy. Decent class. The first two litter mates clearly stood way. 1. Wellsstaffs Shine A Light. Black bitch. Promising Staffordshire. Good strength throughout the head, which is short and well proportioned, and with well developed cheeks, yet is still feminine. Good short neck and well laid shoulders. Super front assembly. Good topline and tail set. Well angulated at the rear. Moved soundly and with drive. 2. Wellsstaffs Young Warrier. Litter brother to 1. He has a very good quality head, with good breadth of skull, dark eye and short muzzle of good strength. Decent bone and stands on good feet. Still needs to drop into himself a fraction. Correct topline and nice and short in the loin. Well sprung. Well-muscled rear. Correct tail although a little proud of it, which in a young male was not penalised today. Little to choose between 1 and 2 just preferred the depth of front on 1 at this stage. Sound fore and aft. 3. Tillcarr Fire Dancer

Limit 1. Pasgal Reach Out and Touch. Smart dog. Pleased in head and eye. Good strength of neck into good shoulders. Nice width and depth to the front. Good spring of rib and muscular loin. Good tail well carried. In A1 condition. Moved with drive. 2. Blossom Queen Bee for Labrastaff. Another typey bitch and I see by a good dog. Pleased with a quality head with good eye and ear, good bone and substance for a bitch. Nice feet. Good rib and deep brisket. Nice hind angulation. Moved well. Preferred front on 1 when stood. 3. Illori Constellation

Open 1. Alport Bold Ruler. Really thought this black a good specimen. He has an excellent head, good dark eye and correctly pigmented rims. Neat ears. Strong neck into well laid shoulders. Good breadth of chest and well sprung. Good bone. Typical front, feet correctly placed for the breed. Topline is correct and held on the move. Nice tail correctly set and carried. Moved with drive and was foot perfect. Please to award him BOB. 2. Labrastaff Espresso. Very close up to 1, although this class had only two exhibits both are of good quality. All the attributes of 1 apply here also. Well made through and another very sound mover. Just felt, and I am being hypercritical here, that he was fraction down on his front pasterns as compared to 1.

Veteran 1. Illori Akinlana JW ShCM. Apart from a little colour change there was nil to suggest his age today. Another well-made Stafford who is of good size and is very well proportioned and balanced. Good head which is deep through and short. Good cheek muscles and super dark eye. Nice front assembly. Good bone. Despite his age he has an excellent hard topline with no slack which is a testament to his owner. Good rear. Moved well.

Dalmatian

Puppy 1. Winflash Tom Ford. B/W. Very promising youngster. Very mature for age. He is of a lovely shape and nicely balanced. Good neck and shoulder, for preference I would like a fraction more upper arm. Super bone and feet. Well ribbed with good topline. Tail of correct length and well carried. Has super front extension and a great side gait, just needs to firm up behind.

Special Yearling 1. Joubello Fastlove. Smart Dalmatian. Nicely headed male with good eye and good sized well set ears. Nice front assembly and of good bone. Won here on his maturity and finish. Deeper in chest than 1. Well ribbed. Good topline and underline, although could be a fraction shorter in loin. Nicely spotted. Moved well and with drive. 2. Olilou Its Gucci at Winflash Very nice for type and overall silhouette. Well angled front and rear. Nice topline. Well-developed second thigh. Need to fill a fraction in front which will come. Moved well. 3. Rapanooey Ribbons and Bows

Limit 1. Joubello Freedom with Rapanooey. Heavily spotted. Won here on head and expression. Head is very nice and of correct proportions with good eye. Nice ears which are well broken up. Good neck into well placed shoulders. Could have a fraction more upper arm for preference. Well ribbed back. Good rear. Moved with drive. 2. Kallierbelle Pink Sapphire. Pleasing bitch for size. Pleasing head which is feminine but not weak. Good eye. Falls away a fraction too much at the croup for me. Nice front with good bone and feet. Nice front action but could have a little more drive in the rear. 3. Sadidels Arab Girl

Open 1. Cardodal Jacobs Ladder. Liver/W. Nice for size and shape. Good clean quality head with good eye for coat colour. Not using his ears so well today. Won here on his front assembly and overall soundness of footfall on the move. 2. KallierbelleBlueBelle. B/W. Nice head and expression. Good for size. Good bone and feet. Pleasing topline and tail set. Nicely spotted. Could be a bit more settled in front and a little more positive going away.

French Bulldog

Puppy 1. Morrioghain Margomole. Typey Frenchie. Pleasing head and expression. Won here on her good topline. Well-proportioned bitch. Nice front. Good bone and feet. Needs to settle behind. 2. Kianspuchi Dark Storm. Nice type. Promising male. Good head with good ears. Still very raw and needs time. Not as compact as 1. Moved ok.

Well laid shoulders although could be a little tighter at the elbow. Well ribbed back. Good hind quarters. Correct tail set. In good coat. Moved well.

Open 1. Bellellen Magic Mike with Mytilene JW. Of lovely type. Lovely head proportions, good eye and well pigmented. Nice front. Good height to length. Nicely angulated rear. Good bone. Very nicer mover with a nice side gait. Well put down.

Poodle (miniature)

Puppy 1. Michandy Time After Time. This is a really exciting young prospect. I thought her quite lovely and of excellent breed type. Very pretty and feminine without being underdone or fine. Good head with lovely clean back skull. Nicely chiselled. Good underjaw. Lovely dark eye of the correct shape. Has a very correct forehand and stands on good bond and correct oval foot. Well ribbed. Correct topline. Tail well set and well carried. Nice harsh jacket which is already dense at this age. Sound on the move.2. Raeannes Black Velvet. Black and a very good second to 1. This is another very smart miniature with a very typical lead of correct width, correctly peaked and of good clean length. Excellent shoulders. Good front and good bone. Short, correctly hollowed and level. Good string loin. Not quite as mature as 1 at this stage. Needs to strengthen behind. 3. Raeannes Mat Tai For Sirensong

Limit 1. Sariante Triss Merigold. White. Nice overall shape. Appealed for her overall balance. Head a little bit strong for me as a bitch but of good length and with a lovely dark eye. Good thick leathers. Good bone and feet. Good width to the chest. Could have fraction more length of upper arm to be critical. Good rib. Lovely rear angulation. Well put down.

Open 1. This was an excellent class. Ch Michandy Its Showtime At Pupstar JW. Brown I have judged this dog before awarding him a junior stakes at WKC last year. I thought him super then and my opinion has not changed and with maturity he has only improved. He is just well made overall and presents and very typical and moderate silhouette. Add to this his beautiful long fine clean head with lovely dark eye, plenty behind the tail, a super coat and typical poodle sound action he is hard to get past. An easy winner for me and was sorry not to see him progress further. 2. Raeannes Hidden Liaison. Quality Black. This black pleased me for size and balance. Another with a quality head piece of correct proportions. Good neck and shoulder, correct topline and tail set. Correct hind angulation. Good bone. Would just prefer a fraction more length of upper arm. In super coat which is well put down. Moved very well.

Poodle (standard)

Puppy 1. Afterglow Luminary With Angelsam. Quality white. Presents a nice overall shape and is of correct size for age. Head is of good length and clean in back skull. Has lovely correct dark black pigment. Not too wide in skull and correctly peaked. Nice chiselling but would like a little more to the underjaw. Well bodied and with good bone and good arched oval foot Won here on a better hind angulation than 2. In good muscular condition. Moved well and with drive. 2. Moienstar Rewrite The Stars. Pleased for size. Quality head with good eye shape and colour and good thick well-set leathers. Good bone. Would prefer a better lay back of shoulder. Well ribbed. Good tail set and tail is carried well on the move. Not the hind angulation of 1. Correct coat well put down.

Special Yearling 1. Kamarri Lets Go Barbie to Crystalar. I really fell for this captivating white bitch. There is so much to like her. Excels in head which is fine and of super length, good eye, and excellent pigment. Good front assembly with enough bone for a bitch. Correct topline which was held on the move. Well ribbed back. Correct tail set and carriage. Well angulated muscular rear with let-down hocks. She excels on the move and is a delight to watch, clean fore and aft and on side gait she is just all poodle. I think this bitch if she matures on will do very well. 2. Afterglow Atticus Finch. Quality dog who is all male. Up to size but all fits into a nice overall shape. Good head proportions, decent underjaw, lovely dark eye and clean in skull. Good front. Just falls off a little at the croup which detracts from the overall shape. Nice mover in good hard condition and in good jacket. 3. Ophelia Emilia

Open 1. Jaspalie Ghost. This upstanding dog is pleasing for overall shape and silhouette. Pleasing head and expression. Good pigment and well chiselled. Good neck length into well placed shoulders. Well ribbed. Good short strong broad loin. Decent feet. In excellent coat which is expertly put down. For me just a fraction over angulated in the rear.

Poodle (Toy)

Special Yearling 1. Afterglow Kaptain Krunch at Carianjo. Black. Appealed for his good size (although not measured at this show). Really lovely head piece which is quality through and with a beautiful dark eye. Good front. Decent bone and neat feet. Well ribbed with a good topline and good breadth to the loin. Pleasing rear. Moved well. Just a rather tight tail which spoilt the overall impression. 2. Marmalade Sky of Goldselenite. Another nice Toy. Fraction longer cast than 1. Good head and good eye. Good neck into good shoulder. Nice bone and desired foot shape. Correct set on. In good harsh dense jacket. Moved well.
