This was a lovely entry. Many thanks. I thought the atmosphere of the morning was lovely and just as a breed club should be. I thoroughly enjoyed my morning with the bichon frise

Minor Puppy Dog 1. Robinhood I Can Dream. Nice start to the day. Pleasing young quality male. Typical head with correct skull to muzzle proportions. Enough breadth of skull. Good dark eye. Decent underjaw. Overall pigmentation is good. Pleasing length of neck into good shoulders. Level topline. A fraction longer than ideal for me. Good rib. Moved with drive but just needs to settle in front action.

Puppy Dog 1. Deizi The Deys of Our Lives. Balanced young dog who pleases for his size and overall type. Liked his head which is of good overall proportions, good dark eye with correct halos evident. Correct length of neck into well laid shoulders. Decent front assembly with good bone and feet. Well sprung with broad loin. Level. In good coat. Could have a little more drive from the rear. BPD

Junior Dog 1. Aramis Adelio. Not a small dog but balanced through. Pleasing head and expression with correct overall skull to muzzle, and eye placement to nose proportions. Typically bichon. Going through that growing up stage and just needs to drop and fill through. Needs time. Good bone and feet. Correct tail set and carriage, nicely plumed. For me just a fraction over angulated at the rear. Moved ok.

Limit Dog 1. Luka Songbird. Nicely headed male with super pigment and good haloes evident. Overall, a very nice expression. Good length of neck into well placed shoulders. Good depth of chest. Well ribbed although a little longer cast than ideal. Correct topline although a fraction higher tail set would complete the picture. Moved out well in front. In good coat and condition.

Open Dog 1. Pamplona Protocol. I thought this was a smashing young male. He was exactly what I was looking for. Correct size for a male and totally balanced. I loved his head and expression. Ideal head proportions with enough width of his skull which is correctly rounded. Well placed eyes which are dark and correctly haloed. Well placed ears. This dog has the correct forehand angulation and has a well-developed chest of good depth. Correct at the elbow. Level topline and good breadth to his short loin. Correct tail set. Lovely hind angulation. Moved out very well with a super side gait. Good pigment through. In super well presented jacket. I really liked this male and was happy to award him BD and subsequently BIS. 2. Ch Louisianna Heart Breaker. Another smart male. I can see how he has attained his crown. Many of the attributes of 1 also apply here. Different in style to 1 he is a dog with super head and expression. Good bone and feet. Level with correct tail set. Correct depth of chest and of good rib. Nice tuck up and lovely rounded croup. Good hind quarters. Moved well. I just preferred the fraction more length of neck on 1 and the overall masculinity of Protocol. 3. Ch Wolimob Top Gun JW

Minor Puppy Bitch 1. Petit Amis Countini On A Miracle Bowichons. Such a precocious puppy and full of herself which I much prefer to see than the converse. Movement difficult to assess but what I could see of her when settled is very sound. Has a very feminine expression with super pigment. Good length of neck. Needs to fill through. Well ribbed back with strong loin of decent breath. Nice hind angulation. Needs time.

Puppy Bitch. 1. Russmar April Forget Me Not. This young bitch is still quite raw and needs to mature to reach her full potential. Has an enchanting expression due to her correct head properties, dark eye and correct muzzle length. Lovely coat texture and colour. Decent length of neck. Nice topline. Could have a fraction more bend at the stifle nevertheless moved well from the rear with good drive and pads evident. Needs a fraction more reach in front. Just needs time.

Junior Bitch 1. Deizi This Girl on Fire. Very mature young bitch who is almost 12 months. Another with lovely pigment and lovely eye. Nicely rounded skull. Nice and clean in the cheeks. Won this class on her very good front which is well developed with good brisket. Nice straight legs and good at the pastern. Well matured body for her age. Good rump and well angulated rear. Moved very well. Just needs to lose some of her puppy colouring. 2. Russmar April Forget Me Not. Winner of Puppy Bitch.3. Brokengare Mam’selle

Post Graduate Bitch 1. Delbrupar’s Estrella Avec Snowpups. Smart young lady of good size and overall shape. Nicely rounded skull although a fraction deeper in forehead would complete the picture if one is being hypercritical. Lovely eye which has good halos. Good through the neck and shoulder. Decent front. Nice topline and tailset. Moved very well with good tail carriage and head well carried. Much to like.

Limit Bitch. Lovely class although all differing in type and style. 1. Pamplona Nina Simone. This bitch possibly had the best head and expression of the day. Very typey bitch teaming with quality. Like her litter mate she excelled in this entry with her super front assembly and correct length of upper arm shoulder placement. Good depth to her brisket. Super spring of rib and well ribbed back. Lovely level topline with correct tail set. Good breadth of pelvis. Well angulated hindquarters. Moved with drive and in super hard condition. In the challenge she didn’t help her handler at all. I think this bitch should do very well. RBB. 2.Pinefield Dressed for Success at Quismar (Imp Aus). This bitch is beautifully balanced through. She presents a very typical outline. Lovely head and expression with ideal skull to muzzle ratio. Correct ear set and good eye. Nice length of neck into good shoulders. Nice front assembly and correct bone. Good topline and tail set. Not overdone behind. In good condition and presented in first class order. If I were to be critical, I would like a fraction more of her. 3. Louisianna Cant Tame Her

Open Bitch 1. Vanilla Cup Cake De Dyksteinhoeve With Keunnevek (imp BEL). Quality mature bitch who has much to admire. Nothing flashy but just full of type and well constructed through. Correct head proportions. Correct eye placement, dark and full of expression. Eyes and muzzle length create the desired equilateral triangle. Super pigment Good through the neck and shoulder. Nice front. Good topline and tail set. Good rear angulation which is not over done. Well carried tail. In excellent jacket. Moved well fore and aft. I thought her a quality bitch and one who could in my opinion carry her title. Was happy to award her BB.

Veteran Bitch 1. Rusmar Dezigner Kisses with Junanger. Smart veteran bitch who is still in very good order. Good skull nicely rounded with good ear set and carriage. Pleasing expression. Enough width to her front. Good bone and feet. Well sprung. Correct topline and croup. She presents a nice overall shape. Moved very soundly but not using her tail today. BV
