GROUP 4 Rycroft’s Jacksondax Hornet Hurrah at Trisensara JE ShCEx OSW. Dachshund (Smooth-Haired). A happy dog who never stopped wagging his tail. Moved out well with good head and body proportions, pleasing balance and topline. Presented a lively, typical picture of the breed.

BEST HOUND PUPPY Cox’s Dolyharp Grace Kelly at Cheritondax. Dachshund (Miniature Long Haired). I had shortlisted this one in the adult group. A bitch who appealed for breed type with a feminine head and pleasing body proportions. She is a smart, free mover and presents a balanced outline that is typical of the breed.

2nd Foster’s Claran Court Your Eye. Feminine bitch with a pleasing outline and well-proportioned head of correct type. Presented in good coat and condition. Clearly enjoying her day, though she proved a challenge for her handler. When settled, she moved out well with purpose, albeit vocally, making her presence well known.
