1st Searls’ Jaidev’s Fifth Avenue via Cravessa. Japanese Shibu Inu. A well-balanced youngster who won this class on her overall shape and balance. Feminine head with a pleasing expression, strong dark pigment and correctly placed ears. Compact, tight feet, with good depth of chest and correct body proportions for her age. Moved with purpose, though still needs to tighten on the move. BP

2nd Groves’ Marcasite Bonnie Lass. Poodle (Standard). A happy youngster shown in a puppy trim. Good pigment and correct body proportions for age. Straight front with tight feet and pleasing layback of shoulder. Strong topline with moderate hindquarters. Covered the ground well on the move.

3rd Wright’s Black Matrix Di Poggio Petroio to Sealandair (Imp Ita) Japanese Shibu Inu

Junior (3,2)

1st Walker’s Raeannes Black Velvet. Poodle (Miniature). A 14-month-old black male of pleasing outline and balance. Well-constructed with good front and rear assembly, straight forelegs and well-sprung ribs. Moved out lightly on neat, tight feet, maintaining a firm topline and correct tailset, which he carried proudly on the move. Best A.V.N.S.C.

1st Walker’s Raeannes Black Velvet. Poodle (Miniature). As Before.

2nd Ferry’s Longsdales’s Eternal Flame with Ferrybele. German Spitz Klein. Lovely feminine head with well-carried prick ears and strong dark pigment. Slightly wide in front, but with good depth of chest, pleasing spring of rib, short loin and moderate hindquarters. Presented in excellent coat and moved out soundly.

3rd Gardner’s Shiricyres Melrose for Labrastaf. Boston Terrier

1st Beck’s Maldavale Bielsa. Poodle (Miniature). A 23-month-old male of excellent type. Good length of neck flowing into an excellent front assembly. Deep chest with well-sprung ribs, straight, well-boned forelegs and tight feet. Well-bent stifles, level topline and good tailset with correct carriage. Moved effortlessly with light, easy action. Reserve Best A.V.N.S.C.

2nd Ferry’s Ch Ferrybelle’s Take Cover JW. Japanese Spitz. Lovely shape and overall balance with a feminine head. Deep chest, firm topline, short loin and moderate hindquarters. Moved soundly on neat, well-formed feet.

1st Wallace & Cassidy’s Chinaskys Bum Ble Be. Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless). Masculine head with dark eyes, pricked ears and a kind expression. Fine-boned forelegs, good spring of rib, short loin and moderate hindquarters. Gave his handler a challenge yet moved with lightness and a spring in his step. Best A.V Imported Breed Register

1st Barnett’s Salvadora Happy Go Lucky. Feminine head, good ear set. Clean neck into well-laid shoulders, well-boned forelegs and tight feet. Balanced body proportions with good depth of chest, slight tuck-up and well-bent stifles. Well marked, with a dense, close-fitting coat with a constantly wagging tail, and moved out well. Res BOB

1st Tysterman’s Carodal Jacobs Ladder. Feminine bitch with a pleasing outline, preferred overall shape and front angulation. Long neck into well-laid shoulders with good layback and upper arm. Deep chest with well-sprung rib and level topline. Ever wagging tail, moved out with drive and purpose. BOB

2nd Penn’s Dafellin Agape at Dalarisa Feminine bitch with a good head, though I would prefer a slightly longer muzzle. Straight, well-boned forelegs with tight feet, deep chest with fair spring of rib and moderate rear angulation. Constantly wagging tail, and she moved out steadily.

FRENCH BULLDOG

Junior (2,1)

1st Suhareva & Cruttenden’s Castrum Osinium No Limit for Avermayz (Imp Hrv). Stunning youngster, free standing with excellent overall shape, balance and cobby outline. Masculine head with good proportions, tight eye, prick ears and wide nostrils. Well-boned forelegs, good depth of chest and spring of rib, short loin and well-bent stifles. Excellent tail, and he moved out well. BP, RBOB and Utility Puppy Group 1 and thrilled to hear that he was RBPIS

1st Western’s Fanta Orange. Feminine head with light eye and pricked ears. Good depth of chest, level topline and well-muscled rear. Would prefer tighter feet. Carrying a little less weight than ideal at present. Shown for the first time today, and with support from fellow breed enthusiasts she should build in confidence.

1st Suhareva & Cruttenden’s Castrum Osinium Roller Coaster at Avermayz JW (Imp Cro). Cobby dog who tested his handler both standing and on the move. Masculine, well-moulded head with pleasing expression and pricked ears. Clean neck, deep chest, good spring of rib and balanced front and rear quarters. Good tailset. When settled, moved out well on tight feet. BOB

2nd Western’s Fanta Orange. As before.

A.V. UTILITY VETERAN (3.0)

1st Ferry’s Ch Lonsdale’s Little Bird Ferrybelle VW German Spitz (Klein). Feminine head and expression with dark pigment and well-carried prick ears. Balanced outline with good shape, tight feet, excellent front and rear, and pleasing spring of rib. Correct tailset and carriage. Presented in a full, harsh-textured double coat.

2nd Williams’ Bul Ch Tashi’s Spirit Tiger Lilly at Dolkar (imp Bgr). Tibetan Terrier. Feminine head with dark pigment. Well-boned forelegs, a little wide in front. Level topline with moderate rear and correct tail carriage. Moved steadily, though not in her best coat today.

3rd Williams’ Araki Magic Snowflake. Tibetan Terrier.

A.V. OPEN STAKES

1st Smith’s IR CH/INT/SWISS SH CH Oldeely Hope and Glory IR JCH. Portuguese Water Dog. Stunning, well-balanced bitch who won the class on her superb movement. Feminine head with dark pigment. Correct body proportions and outline, straight front with excellent front and rear construction, and lovely tight feet.

2nd Giles-Wyatt’s Clarismore Crown Prince JW. Beagle. Smart dog presented in excellent coat. Masculine head with clean neck, excellent front and rear construction and a level topline. Moved out well on tight, well-padded feet.

3rd Ramus’ Tulawyn Garretson by Onthill. Border Terrier.

UTILITY GROUP

1st Suhareva & Cruttenden’s Castrum Osinium Roller Coaster at Avermayz JW (Imp Cro). French Bulldog - As Before

2nd Stevenson’s Shenleyvale Fifty hades of Orange Shih Tzu Feminine head with a lovely expression. Well-balanced body with good depth of chest and level topline. Correct tailset and carriage. Shown in good coat and a sound, free mover.

3RD Walker’s Raeannes Black Velvet. Poodle (Miniature) As before.

4th Johnson, Johnson Morris & Morris Incalux Shyne A Light on Nefertari Tibetan Terrier. Square black dog with white chest. Medium-length neck, straight, well-boned forelegs, a little wide in front when coming towards me. Good depth of chest with moderate rear. Presented in a lovely, well-prepared coat and moved soundly.

UTILITY PUPPY GROUP

1st Suhareva & Cruttenden’s Castrum Osinium No Limit for Avermayz (Imp Hrv). French Bulldog. As before.

2nd Beer’s Miracey Miss Holly Berry. Shih Tzu. Feminine head with a lovely expression. Well-laid shoulders, deep chest and level back. Good tailset and carriage. Presented in good coat and a lovely, sound mover.

3rd Searle’s Jaidev’s Fifth Avenue via Cravessa. Japanese Shiba Inu

4th White’s Araki King Ken of Teetee. Tibetan Terrier. Masculine head, shown in good coat. Still needs time to fill his frame. Unfortunately, he paced on the move and made things difficult for his handler but should improve with maturity and experience.

3rd White’s Araki Fabulous Figtal at Trytez. Tibetan Terrier. Larger-framed, well-boned dog with good body proportions and balance. Dark eye and shown in good coat. Movement today lacked energy, appearing a little sluggish on the move.
