Preston & District Canine Society

Breed: Irish Terrier

Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge my first appointment doing Terriers. On paper a good entry but sadly a lot of non-attendees, however I still enjoyed my day

Irish Terrier

Junior, 1st Bambers Gracie May; 9 month old b*tch with a lovely outline, head developing nicely, skull flat and narrow and tapering down to her black nose. Eyes of good shape and colour. Correct well set ears. Well laid back shoulders, good length of leg and true and straight in front and stood on good feet. Her chest is developing as it should at this age. She was well ribbed for her age and was carrying enough muscle. Presented in smart and tidy coat, moved well with correct tail carriage. BP

Open, 1st Howarths Niddrua Lightening Bolt; 3 year old dog and no mistaking his sex, he was masculine without coarseness, correct head and eye, and good ear placement. He had good reach of neck into well placed shoulders. He has plenty of substance but not overdone giving him that raciness appearance. He is well muscled all through and has good angles. He stands on correct legs and feet. In excellent coat and condition moved out well BOB
