Tibetan Spaniels

 I would like to thank the society for inviting me to judge at their 100th Celebration Show.

The entry was numerically small but the quality excellent. My steward was excellent and kept the ring running 

smoothly.

Class 75 Puppy (2)

1. Short Mrs L - Malia Zaya

This pretty bitch puppy caught my eye on her entry into the ring. Such a typical tibbie attitude which I loved. 9 months 

old and the most beautiful of heads, with dark expressive eyes, of correct shape. Beautiful well set ears that had such 

good fringing. Such a balanced puppy giving such good movement in one so young which showed her correct topline. 

An excellent tail set completed the picture. Delighted to award her BP & RBOB

2. Collins Mrs r & Miss L - Susa Banana Parti Boat at Tephiti

I have admired this parti dog from the ringside. Super coat with beautiful feathering. Masculine head with well fringed 

ears which he used well. Correct mouth. Very nice front and good topline.

Class 76 Junior No entries

Class 77 Post Graduate (3, 1)

This class was not easy for me, and when looking at the catalogue later I realised why, as they were litter sisters.

1. Dolphin Mrs G - Castafiore Isadora

Feminine parti bitch of a lovely size. Very balanced with a beautiful outline that drew my eye. Correct mouth, very pretty 

head with well set ears that had the most lovely fringing. Super front and rear which gave her sound movement around 

the ring. Very close decision.

2. Ford Mrs K R - Castafiore Isabella

A lovely gold sable bitch who has many of the attributes of her sister. She too has such a correct head and earset. I just 

preferred the outline of her sister on the day. Both are such lovely examples of the breed.

Class 78 Open (3, 1)

1. Steven’s & McKnight Mrs TA & Mrs HA - Ch Rhubisk Dressed to Impress at Tibbygold

Wow! This beautiful mature bitch of 8.5 years is one I have admired ringside and she did not disappoint when I was 

given the privilege of judging her today. She was shown and presented to perfection. Beautiful coat with feathering. 

Typical tibbie attitude of look at me and I certainly did! Moved around the ring so soundly, showing purpose, holding her 

head high with such pride. Such a pretty head with correct earset. Super shoulder placement that with the excellent 

rear angulation gives a stunning profile when stood. BOB

2. Short Mrs L - Malia Mistletoe Kisses

Another quality bitch. Smaller in size than the winner, but she too has lovely angulation front and rear giving her good 

movement around the ring. She has the most beautiful correct eyes with such good pigment and colour they just draw 

you in.
