Thank you to the officers and committee for the opportunity to officiate at their prestigious show, I had a wonderful day and was really pleased with the quality of the exhibits, also a huge thank you to the wonderful exhibitors that entered their quality dogs under me.
American Cocker Spaniels
Puppy (4) 1. Dring’s - You’re my Dream Smeline Svaja (Imp LTU). 11 months old and full of style and presence for one so young, in fabulous condition, cracking outline, well developed through head, nicely chiselled round a dark eye, neck long and well toned fitting well into a neat lay of shoulder, well formed in front with straight forelegs carrying strong bone, chest deep to elbow and with a good spring of rib, gently sloping topline to short strong couplings, nice 1st and 2nd thigh well defined, firm in feet with good pads, smooth effortless movement covering the ground with ease. BPIB. 2. Jennings & Bedding – Alibama that’s My Boy. Younger dog but with still a lot to like and a lot of potential, nicely proportioned in skull and head with a good dark eye, neck strong and long neatly fitting into a good lay of shoulder, front assembly of sound correct construction with plenty of strong bone for one so young, body with deep chest, good spring of rib, nice angulation at rear with developing toned thighs, moved with a nice gait covering the ring smoothly.
Special Yearling (1) 1. Jennings & Bedding – Alibama She’s a Peach. Litter sister to 2nd in last class and again a lot to like, nice in outline, with a good dark eye and well proportioned through skull, overall totally feminine in looks, neck strong and flowing into a well laid shoulder, good front, deep chest with developing spring to rib, a little longer overall to brother, rear with good thigh and angulation, moved soundly with a nice straight action.
Limit (1) 1. Jennings – Alibama Dot To Dot. Really like this black bitch, fantastic outline, standing out from the others, she has a true to type skull and expression with a lovely dark eye, neck strong and long which smoothly flowed into a good lay back of shoulder, front construction is of a good quality, nice bone straight forelegs and good return of upper arm, chest deep to elbow with well sprung rib carried back to short couplings, strong across the back to a good tail set, rear well toned and with nice angulation, movement was driven straight and true, covering the ring with a steady balanced action, presented in excellent condition. BOB.
Open (2) 1. Dummett & Vikhrova – Nova Story Boogie Woogie (IMP MNE) JW. Dog of a good standard with a lot to like, sound outline and strong topline, head with good shape and typical plains, nicely chiselled under a dark eye, neck strong, front a little upright but didn’t detract from his outline, chest deep and with a good spring of rib carried back to a short loin, well angulated in rear construction, moved in a true driven action. 2. Walsh – Kenzduo Juniper At Pippaway. A little older than 1st but with a good overall type, nice eye with good chiselling, head of nice proportions, neck long and strong, nice shape to forequarters, good depth to chest with plenty of well sprung rib, well toned at rear, shown in a nice condition, moved well with a smooth gait.
Cocker Spaniels
Puppy (2,1) 1. Stangroom’s – Riondel Artimis Into Lappakia. 7 Months old and already showing a good outline, squarely built with no exaggerations, square through muzzle, good developing stop, good wide nostrils, nice dark eye, neck muscular and of moderate length, shoulder set well, substantial bone in a well built front, compact in body with good depth through chest and with a good spring of rib, rear with a good bend of stifle, thighs developing well, firm sturdy feet, moved round the ring in a steady driven pace. BPIB.
Special Yearling (5, 2) 1. Griffin’s – Griffial Back To Black. Lovely outline and squarely built, holding a strong level topline, head with defined stop, well developed through skull, good dark eye giving an affectionate expression, ears set well, strong neck of moderate length set into a good lay back of shoulder, for a youngster she has a good front assembly with good bone, chest deep and with well sprung ribs, short back to couplings, well toned through the rear showing strength and soundness, movement was sound and true with a ground covering action. BOB. 2. Randel’s – Fengrange Defender Boy. Substantial dog with a good outline, neat through head and with a nice dark eye, strong neck and a well lay of shoulder, deep through brisket with good heart room, ribs well sprung, rear quarters with good 1st and 2nd thighs, movement was clean and with good drive.
Post Graduate (2, 1) 1. Ward’s – Whinburn Walk The Moon To Wensum. Substantial dog with good presence, good shape to head and a nice eye, strong through neck and has a well boned front, chest deep and with good well sprung rib, short in couplings, well toned rear, moved steady and with a good overall action.
Limit (2) 1. Griffin’s – Griffial All My Loving JW. Fabulous outline, well defined through skull and head, with a good dark eye, moderate length in a strong neck, well laid shoulders, forequarters with good strong bone, good depth through chest with good sound ribs, back level not too long and through to a good tail set, rear sound and with plenty of good muscle, moved well with a true action out and back, driven from the strong rear. 2. Rushforth’s – Plaiglen Daiquiri Of Campionfield. Nice 2 year old with a sound outline, head with nice plains and a defined stop, dark eye and good ear set, strong through neck set to a good lay of shoulder, chest deep and carried back to a well muscled short loin, good thighs with a well bent stifle, moved with a steady pace with a true gait.

Welsh Springer Spaniels
Puppy (4,1) 1. Harrisons –Glenbrows Timeless. At just 10 months old this bitch shows that she has presence and elegance, with a lovely outline, she is very feminine in looks from a well proportioned head, loving in expression from a good eye, neck is of a moderate length and strong set well to a good lay in shoulder, topline strong for one so young, nice angles through out with plenty of good developed bone, topline level held on the move, toned 1st and 2nd thighs and hocks well let down, shown in great condition, she moved with a positive driven action, clean and true covering the ground with ease. 2. Harrisons – Glenbrows Time Will Tell. Litter sister to 1st and you could tell, with a lot to like, feminine in looks and also with a cracking outline, virtually a mirror image of 1st in conformation with good angulation both front and rear, good depth in chest and with well sprung rib, toned rear quarters and shown in good condition, moved with a true action just a little looser than 1st.
Special Yearling (3) 1. Harrisons – Glenbrows Turn Back Time. This dog was of a good quality, unsurprising really as he is the litter brother to 1st and 2nd from the puppy class, he also shows a good outline and very much to type looks strong and well built on the initial stack, head most definitely male with good proportions, a good eye of a dark hazel, neck of a good length and fitting nicely through a good lay in shoulder, back strong and level, chest deep and developing well carrying a nice rib, rear quarters with good muscle and a nice bend to stifle, moved well with a driven ground covering action true and sound around the ring, also shown in a top class condition. BPIB. 2. Smith’s – Nyliram Hold My Hand At Isfryn. Smaller in stature to 1st but showing a nice outline, head with a defined stop, nice dark eye and with a loving expression, well defined stop, moderate length to strong neck, well laid back shoulder over a nicely constructed front, sound through body, good width to 1st thigh and neat angulation on stifle, moved well with a smooth controlled gait.
Limit (3) 1. Ward’s – Glenbrows Flame For Tantaraviz. Balanced bitch that gives a good outline, holding her topline on the initial stack and movement round, good plains to head with a good stop, lovely dark eye, neck strong and of good length, well laid back should on a sound level topline, front with good bone on straight forelegs, chest with depth to elbow, 1st and 2nd thigh showing well toned muscle, feet tight and round, coat in a good condition showed off well, moved with a clean fore and aft action, driven gait that covered the ground with ease.
