The American Cocker Spaniel Club of Great Britain Open Show – 05th October 2025 Judge: Gary A Steele (Zienne) ******************************************** BIS & BPIS – Nasailleen Edge of Glory at Cosalta RBIS – Mycalleys Sirocco JW RBPIS – Alibama That’s My Boy BMPIS – Mycalleys Jasmine BSBIS – Jaclee High Society Americlass ************************************************ Veteran Dog/Bitch - (2/2) Minor Puppy Dog – (1/1) Puppy Dog – (1/0) 1. Jenning’s & Bedding - Alibama That’s My Boy – BPD & RBPIS - Buff Baby with lovely head proportions and a melting expression. Great shape and stood four square, short backed with complimentary loin proportions. Moved well, holding the correct slightly sloping topline and was well muscled. Excellent presentation. Junior Dog – (2/1) 1. Caunce’s - Yankeetank The Gondolier – Black dog that was all male in head piece without coarseness. Good arch to neck and ample substance, matching angles fore and aft. Would have preferred shorter in loin but moved well with good front extension. Post Graduate Dog – (3/3) Limit Dog – (5/2) 1. Morris’ - Mycalleys Sirocco JW – Best Dog & RBIS – Black & Tan boy who stood out in the lineup, Excellent profile when stood and did not disappoint on the move. Lovely head with the correct plushing, great alert expression. Correct angles all through, great lay of shoulder and short in loin. Mature in middle piece with good ribbing and tight elbows. Moved with extension and drive, plus, correct topline and put down in A1 order. 2. Dummet & Vikhrova’s - Nova Story Boogie Woogie (Imp MNE) JW Tri dog who excels in substance. Lovely headpiece with a kind dark eye, good fluting. Good arch to neck and correct shoulders, bigger type than 1st. Moved well with well muscled quarters. 3. Reed & Reed’s - Furians Morning Star Open Dog – (1/0) 1. Kirton, Stanton & Dackombe’s - Sabisabi Iroquois Eyota – Red and White built on smaller proportions, who was very typey in profile. Correct angles at both ends, with complimentary shoulder placement. Moved well with good front extension holding topline. Special Beginners Dog - (0) Minor Puppy Bitch – (1/0) BMPIS 1. Morris & Jefferson’s - Mycalleys Jasmine – black & tan baby who has everything in good order. Lovely balanced head and development for age, kind expression. Nice make and shape with pleasing angles, stood four square and moved with exuberance. Puppy Bitch – (5/1) 1. Moss & Nelson’s - Nasailleen Flicda Bird – difficult class, as two very nice examples of the breed both of different types. Just preferred the better ground coverage and front extension of the 1st. Slightly longer cast black and tan with a great head and eye, Liked the width, depth and substance. Complimenting angles all through which made for a well put together example of the breed. 2. Jennings & Bedding’s - Alibama She’s A Peach – a buff of smaller type than first with everything in good order. Stood four square, short and compact and was well developed, great topline when moving. Well muscled and presentation A1. 3. Clay’s - Americlass Dita Von Parti 4. Derbyshire’s - Jaclee Raise Your Glass Junior Bitch – (5/2) 1. Swigciski & Bryant’s - Nasailleen Edge Of Glory at Cosalta – BIS, BPIS & BPB - Litter sister to previous class winner. Black with a melting expression with a keen dark eye, head balanced and well chiselled, plush but retaining femininity. Best of necks set into correct shoulders, with matching return of forearm. Not the shortest, but had the length of leg to remain square in profile. Correct topline and best front extension on the move. Super ground coverage and drive assisted with well muscled hind quarters. 2. Caunce’s - Yankeetank Ladytron – Black and Tan, not quite the angles of the first, that said, lovely head, eye, muzzle and expression, shorter in loin and carried herself well. Typey example of the breed. 3. Linton’s - Afterglow Domincae Post Graduate Birch – (2/0) 1. Kirton & Dackombe’s – Sabisabi Apache Catori – Really liked this bitch, even though she was a tad plump. Lovely head and eye and balance to the headpiece. Great substance, had depth and width a plenty. Well sprung ribs, short in on with the correct topline. Moved well with the correct topline. 2. Reed & Reed’s - Jaclee Trails Of Gold Over Furian – Buff, a finer example of the breed. Everything in good order and a typey example, moved satisfactorily. Limit Bitch – (6/2) 1. Morris & Langton’s - Arrowbien Nina Ricci at Jennobar – A tri, bigger in build, who had a grand head piece, kind dark intelligent eyes. Full of substance, balanced and moved out well holding the correct top line. Complimentary angles all through. Great muscling and handled to get the best. 2. Sunter & Pinchen’s – Kenoula No Regrets – Black with a divine head and expression. Enough substance and angles all correct, moved well holding her topline. Sadly was a bit without her party dress today. 3. Glover’s – Almondsbury In The Night at Mickals 4. Kirton & Dackombe’s – Flower Iz Mazhornogo Lada at Sabisabi (Imp Rus) Open Bitch – (2/0) 1. Fryer’s – Dreamcast Elysium at Carolco – RBB – A very pretty blue roan, who has the sweetest of balanced heads, keen dark intelligent eye. Good angles, short in back and moved well covering the ground with ease. Well muscled and wide quarters. Short hocks providing the correct drive. Put down in good order. 2. Morris & Jefferson’s Mycalleys Koko JW ShCEx OSW – Black with a pleasing head and soft expression. Good outline in profile and moved out well, with matching angles fore and aft. Special Beginners Bitch – (2/1) 1. Beet’s – Jaclee High Society Americlass – Black & Tan, ultra feminine with a balanced head piece. Nice in outline with matching angles all through. Moved OK.
