Hound Association

Sloughi

I really enjoyed judging this lovely entry, many thanks to the exhibitors.

Puppy

Entries: 1 Absentees: 0

1st Place 496 - Chistoso Sand in Your Shoe Lizanthe (Imp Fin) (Mrs E A Porteous), most promising youngster full of the joys. Balanced head and good expression, clean through the neck and shoulder but is yet to finish there and this showed on the move. In good condition and muscle for age, and very good behind; if a little flyaway in front at the present time. BPIB, a good prospect.

Class 125. Post Graduate

Entries: 2 Absentees: 0

1st Place 494 - Atiqah Origen Charm of Thiefside (Imp Svk) (Mrs K Clark), very expressive and keeps a balanced shape standing and moving. Lots to like and a really lovely shape and size. Very accurate footfall and carriage when going around, a sensible, steady and considered mover. Quality hound. RBOB.

2nd Place 491 - Al'karim Origen Charm at Longhedge (Imp Svk) (Mr M & Mr R B Atkinson & Godfrey), a little on the heavier side I felt, especially through the body. Really good head and eye, excellent expression, balanced angles both ends and quite sound on the move from all angles.

Class 126. Open

Entries: 3 Absentees: 1

1st Place 495 - Magida Sabiih Al Sahra at Thiefside (Imp Deu) ShCEx (Mrs K Clark), beautiful hound with so much to admire. Excellent head and eye, lovely forequarters, well balanced in body and so accurate and true on the move. A picture of what I think of when I imagine a Sloughi, BOB.

2nd Place 492 - Gwasila Nuri Al Baida at Longhedge (Imp Deu) (Mr M & Mr R B Atkinson & Godfrey), quite close up to the winner an another lovely one, maybe could be a shade bigger for ideal but real quality. Lovely head and eye, good front and firm topline. Quite accurate up and back but not with the perfect footfall of the winner.
