Whippet

P (5,2) 1. Foxwell’s Cobyco Capture The Look At Redfoxia – 9 month old brindle male who is very well put together throughout.  Masculine head of correct proportions, long muscular neck into excellent front construction with slight spring of pastern.  He has plenty of depth of brisket for his age, excellent spring of rib and holds his topline correctly both on the stack and on the move. He is balanced throughout,  with his moderate rear angulation complimenting his excellent front. He moved soundly and with purpose, with a daisy-cutting action and driving from the rear. BP and delighted to hear he won Puppy Group 3. 2.  Perkins’ Silkridge Figgy Pudding With Zeglynn – 8 month old particolour dog who is a also very well put together.  Masculine head of correct proportions into his long muscular neck and excellent front construction.  Moderate bladed bone, slight spring of pastern and well knuckled feet. He has a good depth of brisket for his age, muscular loin and has moderate rear angulation with well let down hocks. Balanced throughout. Held his topline well at all times, and moved around the ring with ease and purpose .  True fore and aft. Unlucky to meet 1 today, needs a little time to mature. 3.  Price’s Kierpark It’s Now Or Never Among Silkdance.


SY (9,0) 1.  Howgate and Hull’s Tervanty Dragon Song At Palmik JW – 14 month old fawn female who is excellent for breed type.  Correctly proportioned head, skull flat on top with the finest of rose shaped ears. Long, muscular neck into good front construction, moderate bladed bone and slight spring of pastern.  Excellent depth of chest and spring of rib, with sweeping underline and slight rise over the loin. Excellent rear construction, well-muscled hind quarters, excellent tail set and well let down hocks.  Excellent for size and substance.  She moved with balance when viewed in profile, with a daisy cutting action and drive from the rear. 2.  Little’s Saintharp Can’t Stop Me Now – 15 month old brindle parti female, built on a larger frame than 1 with a head of correct proportions, oval eye and strong underjaw.  Balanced angulation to her front and rear, moderate bone and slight spring of pastern.  Excellent depth of chest and spring of rib. Correct topline.  Moved true fore and aft, and with a free and easy movement when viewed in profile.  Preferred the overall shape of 1. 3. Barnes’ Leathern Thumbs Up For Doddridge.


PG (6,0) 1.  Woodward’s Tervanty Magic Dragon – 14 month old fawn female with feminine head of correct proportions, oval eye, strong underjaw and excellent fine rose shaped ear.  Long, muscular neck into a well laid back shoulder and with good length and return of upper arm.  Elbows fall directly underneath the withers. Moderate bladed bone, slight spring of pastern and excellent feet.  Plenty of depth of chest for her age, good spring of rib and sweeping underline into a slight rise over her muscular loin.  Moderate rear angulation, well-muscled with well let down hocks.  Excellent tail set, size and substance. Moved true fore and aft, with a long and low stride in front and with grace and elegance. BOB. 2. Foxwell’s Barnesmore The Lion King Of Redfoxia – 2 year old brindle male who I have judged previously, but moved much better today.  Masculine head, oval eye and strong underjaw.  Long, muscular neck into good front construction with moderate bone and slight spring of pastern.  Excellent depth of chest and spring of rib. Well developed first and second thigh and well let down hocks. Moved well when viewed in profile, just preferred the overall type of 1.


OD (4,2) 1.  Barnes’ Doddridge Silver Jigilo – 5 year old brindle and white particolour male with a  masculine head, oval eye and equal length of muzzle to backstop.  Long, muscular neck into a good front assembly, moderate bladed bone and well knuckled feet.  Plenty of heart and lung room and a sweeping underline complimenting his topline.  Well-muscled first and second thigh, with well let down hocks. Excellent tail set. Moved true fore and aft, and balanced when viewed in profile.  2. Perkins’ Silkridge Rapture With Zeglynn – 2 year old brindle masculine dog. Well let down hocks. True fore and aft but was a little unsettled today when moving in profile. 


OB (4,1) 1. Woodward’s Tervanty Magic Dragon 2. Barnes’ Doddridge Strictly Cha Cha JW – Feminine 3 year old brindle female with correctly proportioned head, oval eye and strong underjaw.  Long, muscular neck into good front construction with plenty of heart and lung room and moderate bladed bone.  Sweeping underline into her curvy topline and well developed first and second thigh.  Well let down hocks.   Moved well, just preferred the reach of 1.   


Beagle


PG (2,0) 1.  Adey’s Boskenna Enchanted At Rubeusbay – 8 month old tricolour female – slightly domed skull with well defined stop and lips flewed.  Black nose. Short and straight forelegs with firm elbows.  Straight and level topline.  Muscular rear.  Moved true fore and aft and with drive from the rear. RBOB and BP. 2.  Murphy’s Bayard Seal Of Approval At Rhosyndu JW – 17 month old tricolour male with moderately wide skull and long rounded ear, set low.  Slightly arched neck into good front construction with plenty of substance.  Well let down chest and ribbing well back.  Muscular rear.  Moved well, just preferred the rear movement of 1.  


O (3,0) 1.  Quantick’s Parkebreeway Rumour – 18 month old tricolour male with a masculine head of correct proportions.  Dark, fairly large eye and correctly shaped ear set low.  Enough length of neck, into good front construction with short and straight forelegs and firm elbows set well underneath.  Shoulders not loaded.  Excellent depth of chest falling below the elbow.  Straight and level topline.  Muscular rear with stifle well bent.  Moved true fore and aft, keeping his level topline and moving with drive from his rear. BOB. 2.  Breeze’s Parkebreeway Wyseman JW – 4 year old red and white male, masculine head of correct proportions and low set long rounded ear. Enough length of neck into his well laid back shoulder.  Straight forelegs and round bone.  Level topline, good turn of stifle and well-muscled rear. Moved well.  Preferred rear movement of 1 on the day.


Miniature Smooth-Haired Dachshund


PG (4,2)  1.  Somerton’s Rijobeau Pandora Boxx – 13 month old black and tan female. Well-constructed and muscled throughout.  Long muscular neck into her well laid back shoulder and good front assembly.  Elbows tucked in with plenty of ground clearance. Level topline both when stacked and moving.  True fore and aft and driving from the rear when viewed in profile. RBOB.  2.  Small’s Marvale Golden Oriole For Devondax – 7 month old red female.  Feminine head of correct proportions, almond shaped eye and slightly arched muzzle.  Long neck into a good front assembly.  Level topline when stacked, with ribs well back and short loin.  Muscular rear for her age.  Moved well, just preferred topline of 1 when on the move. BP.


O (4,1) – Small’s Glynlythe’s Heirloom For Devondax JW – 19 month old red female, correctly proportioned head, conical when viewed from above. Correct ear set and shape. Almond eye with slight arch to muzzle.  Long muscular neck into her well laid back shoulder.  Well-muscled throughout, with plenty of prosternum and elbows tucked in. Full volumed thorax, plenty of heart and lung room.  Enough ground clearance.  Well knuckled feet. Ribbing well back and short in loin, with level topline that she maintained on the move.  Well muscled rear with parallel hocks.  Moved true fore and aft and with a free and easy movement when viewed in profile. BOB. 2.  Ashby’s Midlandbulls Willow At Jaxinorydax – 4 year old red female, correct almond eye shape, strong jaw and slight arch to muzzle. Would prefer a slightly lower ear set.  Plenty of prosternum and strong bone.  Full volumed thorax with plenty of heart and lung room.  Good ground clearance.  Well-muscled throughout. Moved well, just preferred the topline of 1 on the move. 3.  Poulier’s Auradach Alfred The Great.


Smooth-Haired Dachshund


PG (5,1) 1.  Rycroft’s Raajput’s Dancer Divaa With Trisensara – 10 month old black and tan female.  Correct head with almond eye shape, and strong jaw. Correct ear set. Well angulated front and rear, with enough ground clearance.  Ribs extending well back, short loin and well-muscled rear. Moved true fore and aft and freely when viewed in profile. RBOB and BP. 2.  Turton’s Madrebambino Slinky Gal At Skipsar – 2 year old black and tan female with almond eye, and correct round ear shape.  Long muscular neck into good front assembly.  Plenty of prosternum and ground clearance.  Ribs extending well back, short loin and very well-muscled rear.  Moved well. 3. Yell’s Luckytails Skye at Zorionadax JW


O (4,0) 1.  Rycroft’s Jacksondax Hornet Hurrah At Trisensara JW ShCEx OSW – 10 month old black and tan male with correctly proportioned head, almond eye shape and strong jaw.  Slight arch to muzzle.  Long, muscular neck into a well laid back shoulder, with correct length and return of upper arm.  Prominent prosternum with elbows tucked in, strong bone and decidedly arches toes.  Full volumed thorax. Short and strong forelegs.  Ribbing well back with short and strong loin.  Level topline both when stacked and on the move.  Well-muscled rump with parallel hocks.  Shown in excellent condition.  Moved true fore and aft and with a free and easy stride when viewed in profile. BOB and delighted to hear he was awarded HG4.  2.  Ryecroft’s Chidax Sahara Sand By Trisensara JW – 21 month old red female, correctly  shaped head with almond eye shape and slight arch to muzzle.  Correct low ear set.  Long muscular neck into good front construction, plenty of prosternum and full volumed thorax.  Plenty of ground clearance.  Ribbing well back, with slight rise over the loin which she held both stacked and on the move. Well-muscled rump. Moved well. 3. Ashby’s Rayol Dallas Cowboys At Jaxinorydax.

PG (2,1) 1.  Kilroy’s Blackvein Cupid At Janacop – 6 year old wild boar male with head of correct proportions and ridges over his eyebrows.  Correct low set ear with round shape and strong jaw.  Excellent front construction, elbows set directly underneath the withers.  Prominent prosternum, plenty of ground clearance and strong bone.  Well angulated muscular rear to compliment his front.  Level topline.  Moved true fore and aft and freely when viewed in profile.  RBOB. 


O (2,0) 1.  Kilroy’s Blackvein Rambler At Janacop JW – 3 year old wild boar female, feminine head with almond eye and strong jaw.  Slightly arched muzzle.  Muscular neck into correct front construction with shoulder well laid back.  Elbows tucked in and directly underneath the withers.  Prominent prosternum, full volumed thorax with plenty of heart and lung room.  Ribbing well back, with slight rise over her short loin.  Well muscled rump with correct hind angulation.  Moved true fore and aft and freely when viewed in profile, driving from her muscular rear.  BOB. 2.  Umfreville’s Dogrose Bee Of Sound Mind – 3 year old wild boar dog who is longer set in body than 1.  Almond eye and strong jaw.  He has enough ground clearance with short forearm which is moderately straight.  Would prefer a little more muscle and substance.  Moved ok.


Wire-Haired Dachshund


SY (2,1) 1.  Yell’s Vixendax Tatiana – 6 month old wild boar female.  Still very raw and needs time to mature.  Long neck into well laid back shoulder.  Full volumed thorax with plenty of heart and lung room. Muscular rump. Moved well.


PG (3,2) 1. Yell’s Vixenda Tornado – 6 month old wild boar male, almond eye shape with strong jaw. Correctly shaped round ear at the tip.  Good front construction with elbows tucked in.  Plenty of ground clearance.  Level topline. Well-muscled rear.  Moved true fore and aft.  RBOB and BP.


O (4,3) 1. Effer’s Greyhayne Hector – 7 year old wild boar male with correctly proportioned head, ridges over his eyebrows and almond eye shape.  Slight arch to muzzle.  Long muscular neck into well laid back shoulder, but would prefer a touch more length of upper arm. Strong bone. Prominent prosternum, particularly liked his full volumed thorax.  Ribs well back and short loin.  Well muscled rump. Moved true fore and aft, and freely when viewed in profile. BOB.


Miniature Long-Haired Dachshund


PG (6,1) 1.  Cox’s Dolyharp Grace Kelly At Cheritondax – 11 month old shaded cream female who caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring.  Beautiful feminine head of correct proportions, almond eye and slight arch to muzzle. Correct dentition and strong jaw.  Excellent low ear set and correct rounded shape.  Muscular neck into excellent front construction, with shoulder well-laid back and equal length of shoulder to upper arm.  Short and strong forelegs.  Prominent prosternum, with plenty of ground clearance. Full volumed thorax, ribs well back and a slight rise over her short loin.  Full, well-muscled rump and excellent rear angulation.  This was absolutely reflected as she moved around the ring with a balanced, free and effortless stride driving from her muscular rear. True fore and aft.  I will watch her with interest. BOB and BP. 2. Bater’s All For Show – 15 month old shaded red male who is also nicely put together.  Masculine head, with almond eye and strong jaw.  Low set ear of correctly rounded shape.  Muscular neck, into his well-laid back shoulder and good front construction.  Prominent prosternum, full volumed thorax and elbows tucked in.  Parallel, short front legs.  Ribs extending well back and slight rise over his loin.  Well angulated and muscled hindquarters.  Moved true fore and aft and freely when viewed in profile.  Unlucky to meet 1 today. 3.  Turton’s Kenzduo Magic Potion At Damoradaxies.


O (3,0) 1.  Ham’s Minard Darque Red For Devondax JW – 2 year old red dog with a beautiful correctly proportioned masculine head.  Conical when viewed from above, almond eye shape and slight arch to his muzzle.  Excellent low ear set and correctly rounded shape.  Prominent prosternum and good front angulation. Strong bone and enough ground clearance.  Full volumed thorax with plenty of heart and lung room.  Ribs well back and slight rise over his short loin.  Well muscled and angulated rear.  Moved true fore and aft, and with a free and balanced stride in profile. RBOB. 2.  Westaway’s Abbilis Maleficent At Treranch – 6 year old shaded red female with almond eye shape and low set ear of correctly rounded shape.  Muscular neck into good front construction.  Strong and short forearm with elbows tucked in and falling directly underneath the withers. Full volumed thorax. Slight rise over her short loin.    Well-muscled and correctly angulated rear. Moved true fore and aft, and freely in profile. Just preferred the overall shape of 1. 3.  Bater’s Daxiemoor’s Flower girl.


Long-Haired Dachshund


O (5,0) 1.  Sainsbury’s Drymoor Marron Glace At Boscolla – 5 year old shaded red female, correctly proportioned head with almond eye and slight arch to muzzle.  Low ear set.  Muscular neck into good front assembly. Elbows tucked in.  Prominent prosternum and full volumed thorax. Slight rise over her loin, into a full muscular rump. Correct hind angulation.  Moved true fore and aft, and freely when moving around the ring. BOB. 2.  Partridge’s Pettigans Viva La Vida By Riveroyal – 2 year old shaded red female - head in correct proportions, slight arch to muzzle, almond eye and high set ears.  Long neck into excellent front construction. Upper arm crooked, with elbows tucked in and falling directly below the withers.  Prominent breastbone with depression and decidedly arched toes.  Full volumed thorax.  Level topline, with correct length of ribcage and short loin.  Excellent rear angulation with muscular full rump.  Moved true fore and aft, and with a free and balanced stride. Basset Hound


O (1,0) Turner’s Ch Devonhound Who’s That Girl JW ShCEx OSW – 2 year old red and white female who is absolutely balanced and quality throughout.  Beautiful feminine head or correct proportions.  Lozenge eye shape, and low set ears with plenty of length.  Strong jaw with perfect scissor bite. Fairly long muscular neck, into a well laid back shoulder with equal length of upper arm. Excellent strong and short forelegs, neatly fitting against ribcage.  Prominent breastbone, and well rounded ribs. Broad and level back of correct length.  Excellent very well-muscled hind quarters.  Correct wrinkling of skin at the hock.  This female is beautiful when stacked, but absolutely excels on the move.  She is a true showgirl, she moves with a balanced and effortless gait covering the ground with ease, and with real power driving from her muscular rear. I could watch her all day. BOB and delighted to hear she went HG1.


Basset Fauve De Bretagne


O (2,1) 1.  Carter’s Gouvier Espresso Martini JW – 3 year old gold wheaten male of moderate length.  Correctly proportioned skull, medium in length with moderate stop.  Strong underjaw.  Short muscular neck into excellent front assembly with feet facing forwards. Prominent sternum and ribs carried well back.  Level topline into good rear angulation and well let down hocks.  Moved true fore and aft and striding out well when viewed in profile.


Hamiltonstovare


O (2,0) 1.  Adey’s Abon Sfora Nordowskiej Knieji At Rebeusbay (Imp Pol) ShCEx – 4 year old tricoloured male.  Moderately broad skull, with fairly long muzzle. Black nose and dark eye. Correct dentition. Excellent front assembly with muscular shoulder. Strong loin with a deep chest.   Rectangular in shape and shown in excellent condition.  Well-muscled and angulated rear, he moved true fore and aft and freely with a long reach in front and covering ground with ease. BOB and delighted to hear he was awarded HG3. 2.  Adey’s The Huntress From Sufayre – 2 year old tricolour female with head of correct proportions, dark eye and correct scissor bite.  Long muscular neck into a well laid back muscular shoulder.  Another with plenty of length of forearm.  Chest deep and strong and broad back.  Good angulation at the rear with low set tail.  Moved well, just preferred the overall shape of 1. RBOB.


Afghan Hound


O (3,0) 1.  Bovey’s Sitana Infinity Stone At Karianca – 10 month old cream male with long skull and slight stop.  Excellent strong jaw and correct dentition and correct eye shape.  Ears set low and well back.  Long neck into well laid back shoulder, long upper arm and elbows below the withers. Level well-muscled back with prominent hip bones. Excellent turn of stifle and length of hock, very well let down.  Strong and large forefeet.    Moved true fore and aft and with absolute style as he floated around the ring. BOB. 2. Gunn’s Katanga’s God Of Thunder JW – 3 year old black male with long skull and prominent occiput.  Correct almost triangular eye shape and black nose.  Low set ear carried close to the head.  Long neck into good front assembly. Straight forelegs.  Well-muscled back with broad loin.  Well angulated rear with well let down hocks. Moved true fore and aft and with style when viewed in profile, just preferred the overall shape of 1. RBOB. 3. Callard’s Katanga’s Black Widow At Shimonay.


Borzoi


O (3,0) 1.  Logvinenko’s Lynx Faster Than Light Of Noldoli JW (Imp Swe) – 23 month old red and white elegant male  hound.  Long and lean skull which is slightly domed.  Roman nose.  Powerful long jaw. Almond shaped eye.  Slightly arched long neck, into an excellent front assembly with slightly sloping strong pasterns.  Elbows fall directly underneath the withers.  Excellent depth of brisket with plenty of heart and lung room.  Correct curvy topline.  Excellent rear angulation, so balanced throughout. Moved true fore and aft, and with absolute effortless power when viewed in profile. BOB and delighted to hear he got HG2. 2.  Umfreville’s Barnesmore Betelgeuse At Voyshka – 5 year old red dog who is also well put together.  Head of correct proportions, with almond eye shape and roman nose.  Shorter in neck than 1, but with excellent front construction and spring of pastern. Good depth of brisket with correct curvy topline. Good rear angulation.  Unfortunately gave his handler a tough time today when moving around the ring. RBOB. 3. Umfreville’s Stubbylee Penderyn At Voyshka.


Ibizan Hound


OD (3,2) 1.  Carter’s Ch L-Wynd’s Where The Shadow Ends (Imp USA) JW – 14 month old chestnut and white male with fine long flat skull and flesh coloured nose.  Almond shaped eye and large erect ears.  Long slightly arched neck into a steep shoulder and erect pasterns.  Level topline with long flat ribcage and prominent breast bone.  Straight hind angulation with long second thigh.  Well arched toes. True fore and aft and what a lovely mover.  He moved with a suspended trot and far reaching stride. BOB.


OB (2,1) 1. Carter’s Ch Afilador Room On The Broom ShCM ShCEx VW – 9 year old red and white female with correctly proportioned long and lead head.  Almond eye and flesh coloured nose.  Strong jaw. Long, slightly arched neck into steep short shoulder, with upright pasterns.  Level topline and short coupling. Long straight rear assembly with long second thigh.  Moved true fore and aft, and with a suspended trot when viewed in profile. RBOB.
