Puppy (1/0)

1. Hosie: Shadowrise Smash’N Grab (Newfoundland) 8 months can be an awkward age for a fast growing newfy pup, but this young lady is coming on very nicely, good size, not too long and bone to support her, muzzle nice and square, lips of good shape and correct transition to top skull, correct in bite, eyes dark, has a good reach to neck and forequarters were well laid, she held a good level back and was balanced in foreleg length to turn of stifle, really moved well, clean and balanced in profile. 1. Smith: IR CH/Int/Swiss Sh Ch Oldeely Hope and Glory IR JCH (PWD) Well-presented 3 year old who has good size throughout, strong in muzzle, correct bite and nice dark eye, plenty of neck, well angled front, a good well spring body and held a good topline, enough turn to stifle, just felt she was a little long in leg, she moved well, clean and enough to take BOB WG4

2. Hosie: King of Helluland Jungle Book at Shadowrise (Newf) This is a male dog who I really liked, he is developing well as he fills, head is of good type, lovely square muzzle, correct in bite, eyes could be slightly better in shape, but nice and dark, well angled in front and good depth and width to chest, liked his body a lot and held a good topline, he scored well in profile movement just not as clean going away which just cost him today. Puppy (1/0)

1. Wheeler: Hipkins Charismatic 9 month old puppy girl who impressed in her balance, well presented, she has good size, just a tad long in body atm, really liked her head, short in muzzle, dark in eye and a good top skull and ear set, creating an attractive and feminine expression, very good in neck, a well assembled front with good width of chest, nice length to foreleg and she held a level back and good turn to stifle, moved OK today, still a little loose but should tighten as she firms up as footfall was correct, gave the open a good run in challenge but not quite there yet. Junior (2/1)

1. Adams & Springett Aritaur Hennessy. 16m female who is very well put together, decent size and well balanced in head with a good length to muzzle, which levels to her top skull well, good in bite and eye which gives a pleasing expression, well set ears, very good in neck and well angled in front, nice and straight in forelegs, body in good condition, firm, for me, her topline needs to be a fraction straighter, but she holds it well on the move, nice and clean going away and showed good balance in profile.

Post Grad (2/0)

Adams & Springett Aritaur Lapis Lazuli 4 year old female B&T who impressed with a cracking profile picture, head was of good shape, correct in bite, eye shape and plenty of clean muzzle length, held her ears out which slightly distracts, very good length to neck and well angled front, held her forelegs straight, cracking topline and very well angled in stifle with low hocks, moved clean out an balanced in profile with some nice drive. RBOB

2. Bullen Aritaur Dreamer. 23m pretty female, liked her head a lot, well-shaped and a lovely eye shape, good in ear set, front angles presented a little over which may have led to her moving in profile a little front down, nice at straight in foreleg, well bodied and held a very nice topline, well angled rear, moved well out and back just needed to show more balance in profile, really close call.

1. Santoriello Rafthouse Amulet’s Child. So much to like about this impressive 4-year-old male who plenty of size and substance to go with it, a strong head, with a straight muzzle that has plenty of depth, clear well shaped eye and a top skull that balances, really good in neck to well angled forequarters , chest to elbow and a strong forechest, nice and straight in forelegs that were well boned and good well arched feet to support his ample frame, well-muscled body and he held a cracking topline to well set and carried tail, stifle joint bang under his hips was well angled and his hocks nice and low, showed he could move not only cleanly but with some good reach and drive, took top honours in the breed and was a clear winner of the group for me today. BOB WG1

Gt Dane

Puppy (3/0)

1. Wright’s Zefather’s Two Faces with Irieusdane 9 month fawn male, not only of good size but so well balanced, held his posture just as I expect this breed to do creating a lovely profile, plenty of depth to muzzle, his eyes were showing just a little red in the class but as the day went on became less noticeable, maybe he had had a heavy night! Super neck and very well laid shoulder, super length to forelegs with correct size and shape to bone, held a good topline and was well angulated in rear allowing him to move freely with good balance. BOB and BP Made a good impression in the groups as well to go WG2 and PWG1

2. Cranfield and Wright Zefather’s Gossip Girl with Irieusdane. 9 month female who has a lot of the good qualities of, good size, nice balance and well angulated throughout, held a good topline and moved steady with correct footfall, just not the poise or expression of 1.

RBOB

2. Bielecka Alegriagiant Casjopeya. 11m female mantle with very correct markings, pleasing expression with dark eye and good bite, I could take a little more depth to muzzle, good in neck, front angles a little up, good length and moderate bone, feet well arched, topline OK, rear angles mirror front, moved cleanly with balance and good footfall.

Post Grad (1/0)

1. Bielecka Amerikano Ataraksja in Alegriagiant. 13m Harlequin male, lovely size with lots of substance for his age, I found him a little coarse in head, heavy in jowls and eyes a little loose, but a strong flat top skull, plenty of neck and shoulder angles OK, held an OK topline with a good tuck up, rear angles good, when settled on the moved he showed well.
