Thank you to the committee for the invite to judge at their show, and to my lovely steward Ann Morris who did not stop all day. The ring wasn’t the ideal shape or size unfortunately which affected some movement. It was lovely to hear my Toy Group winner won Best In Show later on the day. BICHON FRISE G (1) 1 Marshall’s Blancazorte Never Say Never to Honeyvale. B. She has a pleasing expression, well placed ears and lovely dark pigment, good reach of neck, could be a touch shorter in loin. High set tail, presented very well & a lovely sound mover. BOB. CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIEL PGD (6,1) Player’s 1 Anickily Black Orchid, B/T who presents a lovely outline. Pleasing head with correct ratios, flat skull, dark large eyes, framed by long, well feathered, high set ears giving a typical expression. Good length to neck into level back. Straight legs and standing on good bone. Tail well set. Moved soundly with good reach and drive. BOB Kowalski’s Anickily Black Velvet, litter brother to 1 and many of the same comments apply. Just preferred the overall balance of 1. RBOB. L (4,3) 1 Hawkins Lexody’s Incantation, Blenheim bitch of a good size. Well proportioned head, with good length to muzzle, high set ears with good feathering. Topline is level with good croup. Moved OK. AFFENPINSCHER G (1) Clark’s Carycares Diva Lavella, feminine bitch, pleasing head properties, short muzzle, well placed nose. Good turn up of chin. Round dark eyes full of mischief giving that cheeky expression. Small, high set ears. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders and compact body. Good angulation. Small feet. Correct tailset. Lovely mover with good drive from the rear. BOB, TG4. JAPANESE CHIN G(1) Thompson’s Rossyn Asami, a bitch up to size. Broad head with good stop. Ears are set on wide and are of a good size. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Level topline and finished with a well set tail. Well angulated rear. Good reach but slightly close going away. BOB. O (1) Thompson’s Rossyn Magical Fantasy for Culverwood, masculine male, with a pleasing head, ears are set on well on his broad skull. Eyes of a good size, however lacking the white of the eye. Good width to muzzle. Neck Ok. Straight front and elbows close to chest. Correct topline and tailset. Moved OK. PUG Tree’s Hugapug Sparkle, stood alone but a worthy BOB winner, she presents a typical cobby outline. Head of a good size, lovely dark expressive eyes, Straight front, good depth to brisket. Holds a firm topline on the move and tight tail. Very sound mover in all directions. BOB AVNSC Toy G (5,3) 1 Crew’s Anadeia Nallion at Dreamcrewes, S/C Chihuahua, really smart boy, who had a beautiful head, lovely apple dome skull. Large round eyes full of mischief. Large well set ears used at all times. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders, straight legs. Lovely length of body, topline firm at all times. Small feet. Super brisk mover. BAVNSC. 2 Casey’s Russiandream Ezra Elliot for Shamal, Russian Toy, Black & Tan, handsome male, well balanced throughout. Good head and eye, large well fringed ears. Good bone, Straight front. Good body sloping into his moderately angulated rear. Another sound mover. O(2) 1 Lovel & Thatcher’s Devonia Anzio, well made Bolognese, masculine head with a pleasing expression. Well set ears, good for neck, into well laid shoulder, Correct topline and good rise. Sound mover round the ring. 2 Russiandream Cody Fleming for Shamal, 6 years Red Russian Toy, another handsome boy. Pleasing shape and topline. Nice head of correct proportions. Large well fringed ears set on well. Brisk mover. AV Toy P (6) 1 Stanbury Inxia Something Special, eyecatching Papillon, Super head, dark eyes. Large well set ears, completing her expression. Well laid shoulders, level topline and correct tailset. Super mover in all directions. Lovell’s Pawsamy’s Hank Summer Dream, Pom, handsome head on this young male, lovely small ears, good body & coat for age. Small feet. Moved OK just needs to settle. O (3) 1 French’s Bincombefarm’s The Kneazle, Pom with a pleasing head framed by small well set ears. Almond shaped dark eye, giving a lovely expression. Good bone, compact body and correct tailset and carriage. Moved out with good brisk action. 2 Phillips’ Norvanik Gold Charm, Pom, bigger frame than 1, masculine head with lovely dark eye, small ears and good neck. Level topline finished with a well set tail. Not as accurate as 1 on the move. V (2) 1 Hawkins’ Lexody’s Apocalyptic, 7 years Blenheim CKCS who had a very pretty head, large expressive eyes, long, well fringed ears giving a nice expression. Shown in good coat & condition, she had a level topline, correct tailset & carriage and moved soundly. JW Stakes 1 French’s Bincombefarm Serpensortia JW, eye catching pied French Bulldog female, lovely head & eye, well shaped ears all contributing to her expression. Cobby in body, with a rise over the loin. Free flowing mover. 2 Rice Ricox I Love My Mini Me JW Tibetan Spaniel, well balanced girl of a lovely shape, pretty head with a good eye and ear, level topline and a pleasing mover. SHCM Stakes 1 Carter’s Zentaur The Fizz Factor, Newfoundland pleased for type and has good bone. Masculine head with a broad skull, nice eye and ear. Good forechest, stands on good feet. Powerful mover, carrying his tail slightly up. 2 Rycroft Jacksondax Hornet Hurrah at Trisensara JW Shcex OSW, smart Smoot-haired Dachshund, head of a pleasing shape and excellent length to muzzle. Stands well with feet well under, good chest. Strong topline and rear end, moving out showing drive. Mr Domenico Santoriello
