The Dogs of Tibet Society UK
My thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge their show, it was an honour and a pleasure. The atmosphere was terrific and I think this show will go from strength to strength. Thanks also to my fabby stewards Jackie and Primrose for keeping me on track.
Best In Show went to the Lhasa Apso Shenedene The Gambler with Vallena (Miss M D & Mrs H M & Mrs S M Hall & Bell & Ellis). Goodness, what a pleasure to go over this typical male, so well made and presented to perfection. Perfectly balanced throughout and correct for size, coat in excellent condition with good furnishing on head and legs. Correct head proportions with strong underjaw, dark and expressive eyes, nicely arched neck to carry his head proudly. Moved with free and typically jaunty action, really filling the ring and commanding attention, maintaining a strong and level topline. High set tail, carried correctly over his back.
Reserve Best In Show Shih Tzu Ta Maria Beyond Unique (Imp Fin) (Mr T & Ms Y Paczkowski & Cannon). Lovely head and expression, and the arrogance of expression and attitude really shone out as he demanded attention in the ring. Dark eyes, arched neck, good length of body, high tail set, level topline, well angulated. Broad and deep chest, sturdy body. Good coat. Still a junior, but has so much potential, really look forward to watching his career.
