Thank you to the Show committee for their invite to judge at this lovely show. I thoroughly enjoyed my day. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the exhibitors for entering under me, and to the lovely stewards who kept us all ticking along perfectly.

Bracco Italiano

Puppy, 4

1st D Beecham’s, Rydonmist Bringin It Back – 6m O/W Bitch – Pretty feminine bitch with a lovely narrow head and soft pleasing expression. Well made for her age with plenty of bone, presenting the correct Bracco outline that I was looking for. Demonstrating a lovely extended trot in profile. I’m excited to see how this little lady matures. BP

2nd D Beecham’s, Rydonmist Viva Las Vegas – 6m O/W Bitch – Litter sister to 1, and I have no doubt that these girls will swap places as they mature. Slightly longer in body than her sister. She is well made, with good fore chest, presenting a pleasing overall outline. Preferred the narrower head and expression of 1 on the day. She stands on tidy feet, giving a balanced, typical Bracco picture.

Junior, 5 (1 Abs)

1st A. Worgan’s, Braccorion’s Corr Blimey – 18m C/W Bitch – A quality compact chestnut and white bitch with a great outline just oozing breed type. She shows correct divergent planes, a strong neck and fantastic spring of rib. Good bone throughout, lovely width across second thigh and strong, well let down hocks, moving with wonderful elasticity. A very sound, typical bitch and a very worthy BOB

2nd C. Northey’s, Tito Saggio at Kingsoak Ex Libris (Imp NLD) – 14m O/W Dog – Orange roan dog, correct in outline but less mature than 1 and longer in leg at this stage. He has a kind eye, which may further darken, and shows good fore chest with nice elastic skin. Neat feet and a well set-on tail. Moved with purpose though a little close behind.

1st I. Sladden’s, Two Timer JW – 21 m C/W Dog – Chestnut and white 21 month old dog of good proportions and pleasing outline. He has a lovely head of good proportions, correct divergent planes and the kindest eye. He shows good fore chest, good bone throughout, with nice width across second thigh. Moved with nice elasticity, carried his tail proudly today.

2nd M. Critchley’s, Bracciano Now or Never JW – 23m O/W Bitch – White and orange bitch of nice outline, standing square with good, short coupling. She shows lovely rear angulation and strong hocks. Not entirely settled today, put down to hormones (the curse of showing bitches) which affected her overall presentation.

1st I. Sladdens’s, Bushwacker Dangerous Dave At Canemamans JW ShCEx OSW – 5yrs O/W Dog – A lovely masculine head of correct proportions, with a kind but noble expression. He has a strong neck and good forechest, combined with elastic skin and a good spring of rib. Well boned, he stands squarely on well cushioned feet. A quality dog, well worthy of RBOB.

2nd D. Beecham’s, Titano Della Casa Di Lombardo at Rydonmist (Imp FRA) – 3yrs O/W Dog. Another that oozes masculinity, heavier set than 1 but retaining a correct outline. He has a lovely head of correct proportions with a strong neck and correct amount of dewlap. Good depth of chest with nice close elbows. Slightly longer in loin that 1 and, on the move, was a little close behind today.

1st L. Robins’s, Tarkanya Ritas Ruby with Destanli, 3yrs, Bitch. A pretty feminine bitch, lighter in frame than I would prefer but well balanced. She has a well shaped head with kind eyes, strong neck, good forechest and straight forelegs. Balanced hindquarters with correct angulation and well let down hocks. Moved soundly with purpose. RBOB.

1st H J Ward’s SH CH Braccpoint Song of the Wind for Gemlorien, 8yrs. I loved this girl. She oozes quality, from her well proportioned head she is beautifully balanced throughout with excellent bone, strong forechest and short coupling through to well muscled hind quarters. She was in good coat with feathering on front and hind legs. She moved freely with true breed type and soundness. A standout, mature example of the breed. BOB

1st J Pearman’s, Weipowa Shaken Not Stirred to Britmans – 9m Dog. A well made young dog . Correct head proportions with an intelligent expression. Moderate neck leading to good fore chest. He’s longer than he is tall, with good angulation fore and aft. Level topline, with chest of good depth to tight elbows. Well ribbed back with well set tail. Covered the ring well maintaining topline throughout. A promising youngster. BP.

2nd K M & T N Lord & Broomfield’s Chilternway Coriandrum- 10m Bitch. Feminine young lady of good breed type with good bone and balance. Pleasing proportions with moderate neck and level topline. Slightly down on pasterns today compared to 1. Well ribbed with a well set tail. Moved with purpose around the ring.

3rd L Jefferies’s Rivertone Athena Over Silbermeer

1st S &P Aziz & De Beer’s Gunalt Cocktails and Dreams – 14m Dog. A masculine and mature young man, presenting a strong balanced outline. Pleasing head of moderate length with correct stop. Nice bone with good length of upper arm and tight elbows. Pleasing underline. Well ribbed back with short coupling, leading to well muscled thighs over compact feet. Moved soundly and purposefully maintaining a balanced outline on the move. A worthy RBOB

1st J Kelly’s, Vansant Vixen – 2yrs Bitch. A quality, feminine and well balanced bitch who appealed greatly. Correct head with a kind, intelligent expression. Strong, moderate neck flowing into a correct front assembly with good bone. Pleasing spring of rib extending well back. Level topline with a firmly held underline. Stands on well muscled thighs with strong, well let down hocks over compact, well arched feet. Moved well with purpose and balance. A worthy BOB winner.
