Thank you to the Officers and Committee for their kind invitation to judge at their single breed open show. We were blessed with ideal weather, and being outdoors to judge gundogs for me, made for a memorable show day. This was my first all-breed Cocker Spaniel judging appointment, and I was delighted to accept it.
It was a great pleasure to judge alongside Mrs Sandra Terry (Shaggylands) following the special award classes. A huge thank you to all the exhibitors for a fabulous entry, both numerically and in quality, which made some close choices across the classes. It was a true honour and privilege to have the pleasure of judging your super dogs and to be a part of the great sportsmanship of our hobby.
I would like to applaud and show appreciation to my two stewards, Daniel and Susan Leslie, who together did a sterling job, supporting us all and successfully guiding the show day.
