Siberian Husky

It was a pleasure to be invited to judge for Chippenham and District CS, so many thanks to the committee for the invitation and of course to the stewards for their ease of effort to run a smooth ring. The venue itself is a spacious one, the outdoor ring was of good size and really allowed the exhibitors to move their dogs well, however a few exhibitors were hindered by the soft ground.

Class 178 Puppy (1/0)

1st Elleonia Perfect Storm at Snodragon (AI)

At just 7 months old, this Grey white female was very well presented. Good skull proportions and correct earset, eyeset and bite. A nice length of neck into a well laid shoulder, balanced front to rear and a nice topline held well on the move. Good Bone overall. Out and back movement as expected a little loose, Handled well. A lot to like about this dog and I look forward to seeing her mature. BPIB

Class 179 Post Graduate (3/0)

1st Arctictreks Goldilocks at Snowdragon JW

A 4 year old bitch I have judged before and did not disappoint this time round. Lovely Head proportions, correct ears, bite and eyeset. Excellent front and pasterns. A lovely balanced bitch throughout, lovely topline which was held much better on the move with some additional muscle tone and maturity this time round. Would prefer more coat. BOB

2nd Amical Valetta

1st Amical Valetta

19 month old Black and White female, Very well presented. A little hesitant to allow me to go over her in the previous class, however much more settled this time round. Correct bite, head and ear placement/proportions. Nice length of neck, well laid shoulder, pleasing fore build, but would prefer a stronger pastern. Nice overall balance but still lots of maturing to do. Moved well on the out and back. Topline held well once settled.

2nd Niflheim Blade at Ashtrax

A well presented Wolf grey White 9 year old Male, A very alert and energetic chap with a lovely expression, Correct eyes, earset and bite. Nice length of neck with a moderate fore build, Pasterns a little too sloped but good length. Lovely chest shape and spring of rib. Nice arch of loin and level topline. Good length of hock and proportions in the rear. Moves with good drive and has good muscle tone for his age.

Class 181 Open (5/0)

1st Salazka’s Mr Abernathy At Ashtrax

 A Solid Black and White 7 year old male whom I have judged before, he did not disappoint and has matured nicely into his Veteran years. Lovely foxy head, with correct bite, eyes and earset. Nice length of neck, balance fore and rear, Would prefer a stronger pastern. Good spring of rib, holding a nice tone of muscle overall. Level smooth topline on the move with good reach and drive, correct on the out and back. Moved well with the Handler. RBOB Just lost out as I preferred the front on BOB.

2nd Azgard Kastella for Alepenkye

A 5 year old Black and white bitch expectedly out of coat. A lovely foxy head with a keen attractive expression. Correct bite, ears and eyeset. Well presented, good length of neck and fore structure, would have preferred tighter feet. Balanced from front to rear with a level topline. Good depth of chest and spring of rib, however would prefer a little more muscle. Moved well with the handler, with a good topline.

1st Kaskae Seine Sational at BlueKaneq

A raw 11 Month Old Grey and White Male, Entered the ring with presence, with his good Masculine build. Good breadth and length of skull, correct bite, ear and eyeset. Very happy and cheeky expression. Good Bone, moderately balanced front and rear. Sloping topline, good depth of chest, would prefer a little more leg. Powerful movement on the out and back, held his own once settled. RBOB, BP

2nd Kaskae Show Me the Monet

An equally raw grey and White sibling to 1st place, Good strong build with plenty of Bone. Good skull in length and width, with correct ear size and eye set. Moderately angulated and balanced throughout, Good length and depth of chest. Good sloping topline. Used his power well on the move, but needs to settle to show his true topline. A very cheeky chap, who made his handler work today.

Class 143 Post Graduate (1/0)

 1st Chayo Unlock the Power

An 18 month old Wolf grey male, he stood alone, but that took nothing away from his super presentation and presence. Currently between coat so was not hiding anything. Lovely correct Skull Eyes and earset. His dark eyes were very attractive. Good length of neck, with a lovely fore structure, length of leg and balanced throughout. Good width and depth of chest. Sloping topline and good croup and tailset. Strong hocks and good feet. Still a bit of maturing to do, but held himself on the move once settled. BOB
