Puppy (2)

1 Lawrence and Scrimgeour’s Comalegy Lady of the House with Fiadhaich

Just 10 months and presenting a promising picture. Sweet head with dark eyes and strong muzzle. Good length of rib, correct tailset, carried well. She covered the ring easily and was so true in both directions. Best Puppy.

2 Wanless and Grimes’ Mysulan Byards Lad

Only just 6 months, plenty of him for his age. Lovely head with good width to his skull and correct bite. Sloping shoulders and well muscled quarters. He was not too steady on the move and needs to settle.

Junior (1)

1 Cummins’ Kewhaigh Innocent Man

At 15 months presents a lovely picture. Good in head with dark eyes and the desired keen expression. Neat small ears carried correctly. Good length ot his ribs. His tail is set on well. He moved well away from me. Presented in good coat. Best of Breed and placed third in a strong group.

Post Grad (2)

1 Lawrence and Scrimgeour’s Comalegy The Countess with Fiadhaich

Like her younger kennel mate, this 16 months girl is so true on the move. Feminine but strong enough in head. Well placed ears. She has a strong neck and good length of ribs. Firm in top line and carrying her tail correctly. Close up for BoB..

2 Dixon’s Otterpaws Red Red Wine

Mature 6 year old with good bone but not showing coarseness. Small ears carried correctly. Dark eyes. She moved well away from me. Preferred the strength over the loins of the winner.

Open (1)

1 Dixon’s Otterpaws Lyin Eyes

Seven years old with good head and keen expression. Straight front coming from sloping shoulders, well ribbed back. Move well enough. Would prefer a better neck.

West Highland White

Open (3, 2abs)

1 Pearson’s Hopecharm New Beginnings For Winoski

A shame that this was the only one present today. Nevertheless, plenty to like here. Super outline and well presented. She has a good head with dark eyes and well placed ears. Strong in neck with deep body and strong quarters. She was in good jacket and although stubborn on the move, showed me enough to know that she could move correctly. Best of breed and went better in the group.
