PUPPY entries , 3 absent

1. LAAKSO KAYJA Norwegian Elkhound Took my eye as entered ring, standing nice a square with excellent footfall. Expressive wedge-shaped head, excellent ears. In good jacket with clear bridle marks, short backed, moved out well. Still young and look forward to seeing her develop. Best puppy and puppy group 1.

2. ALIBOR GENESIS OF HAGGATTY Very smart beagle, soft expression, good ears and nose, clean shoulders, good bone and neat feet. Just a tad long in body atm. Muscular hindquarters and good tail set carried nicely on the move - Moved out well.

3. LAASKO KINDAMENTTOBE FOR CAROLON Elkhound.

1. CLARISMORE CROWN PRINCE Nice size and compact beagle, super bone, lovely head and muzzle. Would like to see a little more in fill in front, excellent bone. Very balanced and good musculature. Clean mover

2. AKSAIFLEET DAD DUNIA OF TORQMONKY A nicely presented basenji, still very immature but has nice lines, fit, level topline, and moves at one with handler.

1. EMPETTHOUNDS GENESIS INTO TIFFWAAZZ Very nicely constructed standard smooth dachshund. Strongly built, feminine houndy head, clean neck and good keel, level topline held well on the move. Good hindquarters

2. MARKSBURY ROCKERFELLA AT KARAMES A very handsome bloodhound who excels in his head. Still needing time, but everything in the right place. Good body and feet. Once settle moves out well.

1. CH NORVIN JOYEUX NOEL Lovely mature bitch of 6 years balanced throughout. Has super had and expression, lovely front, level topline and good hindquarters, not overdone. Moved out well with precision.

2. NELGUS THYME FLIES Loved this handsome lad, expressive head, good low set ears with curl, strong neck and good shoulders. Super topline, good large feet, moved with pizzazz around the ring.

1. STONEMARTIN BRON Azawakh Really outgoing feminine bitch, in super fine jacket. Good eye, amber colour. Nice shape to ear. Nice length to neck and clean. Long lean shoulders. Forelegs set well under, would like to see slightly straighter front. Good tuck up to underline. Pin bones evident, but well covered and conditioned. Nice light action on the move.

2. UNE DAPHNE DES VALLEES LONGERONNAISES WITH BLEUCOLLINE (Imp France) Pretty basset bleu de Gascogne, who sadly was reticent to be gone over today. Nice wedge shape to head with long foreface. Good wide nostrils. Rather long ears. Nice arch to neck, and clean shoulders. Forequarter crooked, level topline. Moved out with ease once settled.

1. ZORADEN NAUGHTY AT FORTY Very pleasing fawn puppy, in good condition and lovely overall balance. Liked her size, pretty head and clean neck. Good hindquarters and short hocks. Moved around the ring with precision and flow. Best Puppy AV HOund

1. ARDENCOTE DANCE A DREAM FOR CHIPPERLAKE Another whippet winning here, but a quality and classy hound – still raw with lots of maturing to do, but everything in the right place. Well balanced, pretty head, good crest of neck, clean lines, deep chest and flowing lines, moved out with ease and precision. Super short nails. Look forward to seeing her mature.

2. RULETADAX QUEEN OF HEARTS FOR PENJULAI Dachshund, good condition and well handled – OK head, good keel, feet well under body, prefer to be ribbed a little further back, level topline. Moved well enough in profile.

3. NAGSHALL LOVE FOR RONNIE

1. KURIWAO SERRAFINA STAR A very pretty fawn whippet, absolutely nothing exaggerated, expressive head, clean neck and nicely laid shoulders, good bone for size and neat feet. Flowing and balanced outline and moved well both profile and fore and aft. Reserve Best AV Hound

2. BRONIAS ARMAND AT CAZDACHS Mini Smooth dachshund of genuinely nice type and shape. Attractive head with good ear set. Nice spring of rib and ribbed well back. Good length and strength to loin. Clean sound profile movement, with good hind action.

1. NELGUS GOLDEN NUGGET Lovely balanced quality basset hound, eye catching head plains, strong neck and good shoulders. Good topline held well on the move, ribbed well back. Moved out very well with precision and propulsion. Best AV Hound

2. STARGANG MAGIC ALFIE MOON AT CAZDACHS Handsome smooth dachshund would like to see a little more strength to head and jaw, strong neck, good breast, level topline. Not very cooperative with handler today but saw enough to see nice clean profile movement.

VETERAN 15, 6 Lovely class of oldies, wish I had more prize cards!

1. ELDMOUR SEA LORD OF DINKIDUDLOR 10-year-old mini long-haired dachshund in super condition and jacket. Good pigment with a nice dark eye, sufficient reach of neck and has clean well laid shoulders. Good depth to keel, ribbed well back – he owned the ring on the move belying his years.

2. CH ZORADAN LOVE MAN Handsome male greyhound of 8 years – a lovely series of curves, masculine head, strong neck, clean shoulders, good return of arm and infill and had a nice sweeping underline. Moved well around the ring.

3. CH CITYCROFT SUNDAE WITH OXANA ShCM ShEx VW

HOUND GROUP ADULTS Spoilt for choice here, some lovely dogs went unplaced.

1. CH KIROMOL HEAVEN CAN WAIT Rhodesian Ridgeback, shown beautifully and in super condition and musculature with a lovely temperament.

2. NAGSHALL THE ODD EXCUSE JW Miniature LH dachshund, rushed in the ring, but a feminine bitch with great jacket. Liked her overall balance, good keel and front angulation and moved around the ring with style.
