Puppy 5/0

1. Cooper’s Ballauren’s You Got It – Fawn and white of lovely type. She was the most collected on the move today. Lovely head and eye, with pleasing expression. Long neck and enough depth and body for age. She is a little flat in backline at the moment but has a nice underline, good bone and tidy feet. Moderate rear with good length to thighs. Showed good reach with a daisy cutting action and was sound in all directions. Handled to get the very best from her, well done. BP & HPG2

2. Powell’s Cavebrown Puck – A really lovely shape on the stack- black with white trim, initially my winner on the first look round but he couldn’t quite match the movement of 1. Curves in all the right places. Long neck, moderate front and rear. Difficult to assess moving as he was tending to pull away from his handler but I saw enough to deserve his place. A lovely puppy.

Junior 4/1

1. Hope’s Flerrow Rydings Romances – Upstanding , he’s at the top end of height for me. Good head with long neck and well placed shoulder. Enough depth, I would like a little more fill in front. Well made rear with good thighs and good muscle. Moves with drive from the rear, a little untidy coming towards.

2. Cole’s Kenleap Silver Banyan At Whipwey – Good shape with nice head and eye. Lacks a little in neck and not quite the lay back in shoulder of 1. Deep chest, well ribbed and tidy feet. Tending to crab a little when moving but had some reach and drive.

Post Grad 4/1

1. Furniss’ Jazzellie Reach For The Sky – Masculine head with good eye, long neck and good underline, deep chest, well ribbed and well bent stifles. Honest well made dog with no exaggerations. Moved soundly and true with daisy cutting action, was just a little bit lazy.

2. Kerr’s Udalie Du Menuel Galopin imp – brindle, so pretty, with a feminine head and lovely neck, initially thought would be my winner on the first look round. She is very mature in body for her age with excellent infill, good depth and well ribbed. A little upright in shoulder and lacks return, I also found her a touch wide in front which was more noticeable on the move coming towards but moved well in profile with good reach and drive from a strong rear.

Open 8/1

1. Searle & Rawlinson’s Reffton Tibalt At Whipsearle JW CW25 imp – Masculine red fawn of correct size. He has matured since I last judged him. Lovely outline with curves where they should be. Moderate all through with no hint of exaggeration. Good neck that sits cleanly into a well made front with good return of upper arm. Deep chest and well ribbed back. Strong thighs and short hocks. His movement was clean and he had reach and drive with a daisy cutting action. Lovely condition. BOB & HGp3

2. Robinson’s Indian Chief At Tarward – Lovely head and expression, quite compact but with a curvy outline. Good neck, lacks a little infill and depth for me and could be better laid in shoulder. Shown in excellent muscle condition. Good length to thighs and well angulated in the rear. Moved soundly and true.
