Puppy 7/4

1. Bastow’s Cloudside Bright Flame Karandikar – (Afghan) Excels in breed type. Upstanding red male with a beautiful head that has strength without being coarse and chiselling evident. Well shaped, dark eyes, giving good expression. Long neck into a well laid shoulder with matching return, enough depth and fill for his age, well ribbed back to a short loin. He had good length to first and second thighs and a well bent stifle with short hocks. When settled he moved with reach and a light easy gait. Loved him. BP & HPG1

2. Bridgeman & Logue’s Kingswin Gifted – (Beagle) Tricolour bitch, liked her a lot, one of those occasions you really wish you could award two 1st places, she was very unlucky to come up against 1. Excellent temperament she was confident and absolutely full of herself. Feminine, beautiful head and well shaped dark eyes. Strong neck with balanced front and rear angles which shows on the move, she excels with precise footfall and superb reach, drive and excellent head/tail carriage.

Junior 11/4

1. Webster’s Indiko Eternal Flame – (Dachshund Min LH) Lovely to go over, was very taken with her. So well-constructed without any exaggerations. Pleasing head and eye, best of fronts and matching rear, deep chest and good ground clearance, ribs carried well back. Put down in perfect tip top condition, with excellent reach and drive, a free flowing gait and precise footfall.

2. Macfall’s Africaner Zavanna Breeze – (Ridgeback) lovely shape and proportions. Well made front with good shoulder, well ribbed and deep chest. Holds a good topline at all times and is well muscled. Balanced rear with no exaggerations and balanced with good proportions, lovely condition.

Post Grad 3/2

1. Longman’s Julemark Charity – (Beagle) Tri colour, quite a handful, not easy to assess but I did get hands on eventually. Well balanced and has a good outline, when settled has good length of stride and was sound and true.
