Many thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge at this welcoming and well run show. I had a very enjoyable day and your hospitality was excellent. Thank you to my stewards Trudi Conibere and Harriet Duffield for keeping everything in order. Finally thank you to all the exhibitors who entered and accepted my decisions.

Puppy Dog (1)
1st Henson & Luckham’s Flyngalee Hunky Dory, Upstanding boy with good depth and strong
quarters, excellent bone, pleasing head with lovely kind expression, presented in good
muscular condition, and superb coat condition. Moved with drive.
Graduate Dog (8, 3ab)
1st Taylor’s Trewater Watson At Goldrealm, Lovely condition and balance throughout to this boy. Strong and muscular neck leading into a well laid shoulder and good length of upper arm, good depth of chest and spring of rib, firm loin and well-set tail. Moved really well.
2nd Winsor-Williams & Williams’s Aurgetious Mena Dhu, Not quite as together as first, but plenty of promise for the future. Good depth to chest and strong quarters, excellent bone, pleasing head with lovely kind expression, presented in good muscular condition. Moved steadily but he needs a bigger ring so he can stride out.
3rd Barter’s Makker Tynster Bos

1st Henson’s Cinderbank Move It JW, Up to size but has plenty of breed type. Head well proportioned. Clean neck and good lay of shoulder. Has enough depth of chest, well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters with moderate bend of stifle. Moved with true action. In fabulous coat condition.

1st Lewis’s Fairwinds In Space Man JW. Very well made all through. Excellent head and expression. Correct forehand construction. Well ribbed back leading through to correctly set tail and strong hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Moved well and displayed good open side gait when viewed in profile. RBOB

1st Anstey’s Seruilia Sunbeam, Loved this young lady for her balance, and appealing expression. Excellent shape with elegance & strength combined. Pleasing head with a good eye & expression and excellent pigmentation. Good reach of neck with the correct layback of shoulder, firm level topline, good tailset & carriage. Well coated . Moved freely with reach and drive BP
2nd Hewitson’s Seruilia Society Girl, Litter sister to first, and is also very appealing for type. Balanced head with the softest of expressions. Good arch to the neck and a good depth of chest, ribbed back to the correct point. On the move she is so happy. Unfortunately her coat is in the puppy change stage.
3rd Winterburn-Brannick, Gazey & Gazey’s Charwildan Dolly Diamond

1st Collis’s Tillsun Mistletoe Promises, Feminine young lady but has super substance and gives the impression of power. What a lovely head this girl has – the kindest of eyes, it is balanced and well chiselled and she has excellent pigmentation. She excels in front construction with correct upper arm and shoulder, well ribbed back and good in croup. She held her topline well with a perfectly set, endlessly wagging tail. She has very accurate foot fall on the move and has good reach and drive. BOB
2nd Healey’s Marsabit Celtic Harp, Sweetest of expression, Correct forehand construction. Well ribbed back leading through to correctly set tail and strong hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Good footfall on the move she is just out of coat at the moment.

1st McCammick’s Saffdales My Memoir To Inca, Good balance to head, with a soft expression. Good depth of chest and well-made hindquarters with low hocks. In super muscle condition. Moved steadily, using her tail well.

1st Winsor-Williams & Williams’s Fleur So Sweet At Aurgetious, Up to size but well balanced all through presenting a typy picture. Head shape is good with the chiselling required. Well laid shoulder with corresponding return of upper arm. Well sprung ribcage. Short loin. Well-made hindquarters. Moved happily and true, but a little proud of her tail today.
2nd Clunie’s Warrentor Nohkalakai JW. Nice head shape and good proportions with a kind eye. There was some substance to this girl without being too heavy. Strong breast bone with good length of ribbing. Moderately angled in the rear. Moved steadily.

1st Hoban’s Meadowleigh Time To Dream, B. This is such a quality bitch to go over. Super forehand with straight front, well angulated shoulders, her quarters have width & muscular definition and she has low hocks, straight when viewed from behind. Moved steadily and true. BP & BOB
2nd Frazer’s Silmarillion Tinuviel, B, Feminine balanced head with a good strong muzzle. Deep body, short coupled . Not quite the topline of 1st. Happy mover and she carries her tail well.
3rd Edgson’s Kenbloom Clover Stride, D.

1st Packford-Garrett’s Tamazan In The Moonlight, B, Typy young lady that will mature into a lovely Labrador. Balanced outline, Good depth of chest and well-made hindquarters with low hocks. Moved steadily.
2nd Jeffery’s Lembas Brookly At Mibridge, D, Upstanding male with a pleasing head shape, Liked his strength of neck leading into well placed shoulders. Well ribbed and short loin provided the outline wanted. He is well muscled, on the move he is very exuberant.

2nd Packford-Garrett’s Tamazan Five Star, B, Very nice mature looking bitch, larger framed than 1st but still feminine. Well balanced with good bone. In super coat. She has a balanced head and kindly expression. On the move she is true, but lacks animation.

1st Hoban’s Meadowleigh Turn Back Time, B. Pleased for type and presented a good outline with correct length of neck. Well sprung ribbing, strong loin and well set tail. Feminine head and expression with correct skull and planes, dark expressive eyes. Moved true holding her topline well. RBOB

1st Salmon’s Crimicar Blue Diamond, B. This young lady presents such a balanced picture. In super coat & condition throughout. Super head with a gentle yet alert expression. Good bone and substance, straight front with good legs and well-padded feet. Short in loin and a good spring of rib. Well-muscled quarters used to advantage. Very typical busting, merry movement with plenty of drive from the rear and good tail action. BOB
2nd Griffin’s Griffial Back To Black, B, . Sweetest of expressions. Correct forehand construction. Well ribbed back leading through to correctly set tail and strong hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Good footfall on the move.
3rd Cowles’s Regaltav Valentine To Shenjela JW, B.

1st Small’s Albertean Minerva JW, B. Beautifully headed girl that has balance throughout. a lovely sort without exaggeration. Has a haughty attitude that she carries through when she moves. Moved steady and true.
2nd Miller’s Eddeswarren Moonlight, B. Lively young lady that was testing her handler. Pretty head and a cheeky look in her eye, she has good bone and super feet, balanced fore and aft and is in good muscle condition. Moved exhuberantly.

1st Griffin’s Griffial All My Loving, B. Headed this class due to her overall balance, and true movement. Pretty girl with the softest expression and clean cut planes. Moved strongly and with great purpose. In superb condition. RBOB
2nd Salmon’s Crimicar Indigo Eclipse ShCEx, D. . Pleased for type and presented a good outline with correct length of neck, deep oval ribbing, strong loin and well set tail. Masculine head with an alert expression. Moved positively

1st Kibby’s Pinhays Princess Sarah, Pleasing head with enough breadth to slightly rounded skull and a good eye shape. Strong neck leading to correct topline. Strong well- muscled hindquarters with low hocks. Moved out well on a good stride.
2nd Kibby’s Pinhay’s Pride And Joy, Litter sister to 1st, Alert and kind expression, I would prefer more strength to muzzle. Good depth of chest and well-made hindquarters with low hocks. In fabulous muscle condition. Moved steadily.

1st Kibby’s Pinhays Pie In The Sky This is a very typy boy. Pleasing head, expressive eyes and good balance of skull and muzzle. He has a well laid shoulder, muscular neck. Deep in rib, and well ribbed back. Strong quarters that propelled him around the ring, but rather proud of his tail. BOB

1st Bowen’s Thandiwe Invisible String Around Clandrift, B. Liked the overall balance of this girl with her very nice head and expression. Strong arched neck running into well laid shoulders and good ribcage carried well back. Strong hindquarters, very sound on the move keeping her outline at all times. BOB
2nd Willcock’s Virginia Du Pech De La Ginestelle Mit Dynarkaraky (Imp Fra), B. Built in a finer frame than first. Balanced head with parallel planes and a kind expression. Well sprung ribs with good depth. Enough bone. Sound mover

1st Porter’s Kingsmist Agatha Christie At Winsbrooke, B. Pleasing head with the softest of eye. Feminine throughout she has a balanced body, enough depth to her chest, firm loin and strong quarters which were used to advantage on the move.
2nd Willcock’s Dynarkaraky Apatura Iris, D. Such a happy boy with a non-stop wagging tail. I would prefer bit more robustness. Had the best feet of the day. Moved steadily.

2nd Porter’s Bogdogs Brynnyth At Winsbrooke, D. This boy possesses a balanced head. Good length of neck, well laid shoulders. Correct topline and good tail set. Moved soundly once he got in to his stride

1st Stirk’s Nyllaup Akoya Pearl For Grakar, IWS, B. Lovely size and shape to this girl. Well balanced head with the best of eyes and such an intelligent and alert expression. Well sprung ribs giving the correct barrel shape. Short and broad in back, correct angulation fore and aft. Moved effortlessly and true showing her balance so beautifully. Well- presented coat of dense tight ringlets with a slight oiliness. This girl is a born showgirl, her tail never stopped wagging and she has the ‘look at me’ attitude.
2nd Roberts’s Polmennor Spice Of Life, Irish Setter, B, Lovely youngster who has such potential. Balanced head with the softest expression. . Good arch to the neck and a good depth of chest, ribbed back to the correct point and in super muscle. On the move she is fluid and so positive.

2nd MacDonald’s Redclyst Head Full Of Dreams, D. Irish Setter. Lovely headed dog with correct planes. Best of legs and feet that are well boned. In good coat. Firm topline. And strong quarters. Moved with reach and drive.

1st Salmon’s Crimicar Blu Diamond, Cocker Spaniel, B. I had awarded this beautiful girl BOB earlier in the day, but she certainly stepped up a gear in the Group challenge. Her movement was text book with the merry busting action, and to top it off she had the ‘look at me ‘ attitude. So pleased to see she went Reserve Best In Show.
2nd Wilcox’s Harvestglade Fire And Ice Through Merynjen JW , Pointer, D, Lovely head with a pleasing eye & expression. Scores in neck & shoulders. Straight front standing on good legs & feet. Well- developed body, good muscling to quarters, giving the series of curves that is such a breed characteristic. Sound, true mover covering the ground with ease..
3rd Collis’s Tillsun Mistletoe Promises. Golden Retriever, B. Another I had judged earlier. She is such a sound mover, showing balanced profile movement with super reach and drive. She certainly made use of the bigger ring.
4th Serpa’s Winterwell Starry Night (A.I.) B I just loved this bitch’s femininity, haughtiness and quality. She has a beautiful clean cut head with a soft expressive eye. Ribbed well back with strong loin, good turn of stifle and well- muscled in rear. She has excellent reach fore and aft and flows effortlessly around the ring with a lashing tail. Put down in excellent condition.

2nd Stirk’s Nyllaup Akoya Pearl For Grakar, IWS, B 1st in AV puppy… hair splitting decision between 1st and 2nd. This girl has such a bright future.
3rd Siddle’s Wilchrimane Hex Appeal. Pointer, B, Really loved the type of this Pointer, so very feminine, but still has the robustness required. She has a lovely head with the kind, intelligent eye of correct shape. Nicely arched neck running into well laid shoulders, good depth of brisket, ribs carried well back. Strong hindquarters which she uses so well on the move keeping her lovely outline at all times.
4th Roberts’s Polmennor Pandora, Irish Setter, B Well balanced with neck of correct length, firm topline, deep brisket, ribbed well back, short well developed loin and correct tail set. Delightful head and expression, correctly set ears. Coat in good condition. Moved well with a confident carriage.
