Junior Handling

6-11 years (4,3)

1st - Daisy Bray

Daisy is a great handler who blends into the background whilst handling her dog. She used the whole ring and moved her dog at the correct pace. She was aware of my positioning throughout the class. A well-deserved win.

2nd – Betty Moore

A quiet and unassuming handler. Neat pattern work and she has a great rapport with her dog. Neat lines and use of the whole ring. Next time remember to be aware of the judges positioning in the ring.

12-16 years

1st – Megan Slack

I have admired Megan’s handling for a while and her performance in this class was excellent. She was calm and faded into the background showing her dog to its fullest. Aware of my positioning throughout and showed with perfect pattern work and lines.

2nd Lacey

A kind and unassuming handler who coped well with a tricky dog. Used the ring well and reassured her dog throughout the class.

Adult Handling

17-39 years

1st – Katie Dawson

Katie is a great and unassuming handler who worked well with her exhibit. She moved the dog excellently and used the whole ring. Neat pattern work and mindful of my positioning throughout the class.

2nd – Hayley Reynolds

Another excellent handler who was calm in her charge. She faded into the background to show her dog its fullest. Moved her dog well and had neat pattern work. I preferred the overall stack of first place, hence awarding Hayley 2nd.

40+

1st - Debra Kay

A calm and precise handler who worked well with her dog. Neat pattern work and good use of the space. Clean change overs when moving her dog and aware of my positioning throughout the class. BAH

2nd – Sonia Webb

Another excellent handler who had clean change overs when moving her dog. I would prefer a straighter up and down but overall, Sonia worked well with her dog and was calm in her charge.
