Many thanks to the Committee for the invitation to judge at their Premier Show and thank you to those exhibitors who braved the intermittent rain for the classes which were supported by The NPPA. My stewards were admirable in keeping the judging moving along.

Post Graduate 5 (1)

1st. Sampson’s Morialta Tavira. 15-month-old fawn and white wire-coated bitch. Good breed head with expressive eyes. Excellent front angulation with a straight front. Good length of rib with slight rise over loin. Rear angulation not overdone. Tail set good and carried well. Balanced on the move once settled

2nd. Crockford’s Belfalas Ladytron. 21-month-old fawn and white smooth-coated bitch. Good breed head with well laid shoulder and straight front. Rear angulation good. Slightly longer in body than 1. Very lively on the move

1st. Sampson’s LUXRT CH Morialta Sesmarias. 5-year-old fawn and white wire-coated bitch. Good feminine breed head with lovely active ears. Well laid shoulder and straight front. Good ribbing and rise over loin. Well angulated rear but not overdone. Tail set good and carried well on the move. Very happy mover, light on feet. Nothing overdone on this bitch, excellent breed example. Won challenge on movement. BOB

2nd. Crockford’s Plushcourt Gloriana at Belfalas. 4-year-old fawn and white smooth-coated bitch. Feminine head with active ears. Good neck and shoulder set. Straight front. Ribbed well back with strong loin and rise. Rear angulation not overdone. Tail set good and carried well. Lost out to 1 on movement

1st. Sampson and Brook’s PRT/LUX/BEL CH Morialta Ferreira. 8-year-old fawn and white wire-coated dog. Good head and neck, shoulder placement correct with straight front. Well ribbed with good rise over loin. Rear angulation excellent and not overdone. Tail set good and carried correctly on move. Lovely mover, light on feet. Nothing overdone on this dog. Lost out in challenge on movement with different handler. RBOB

2nd. Segui’s Stormwitch Heirs and Graces at Arranbourne. 7-year-old fawn and white wire-coated bitch. Pretty feminine head. Well laid shoulder. Longer in body than 1. Tail set on well and carried well once settled. Happy on the move with light movement but a little close behind.
