South West Durham Canine Society

My thanks to the Officers and Committee of South West Durham Canine Society for their invitation to judge at their Open show on the 8th February 2025. Also, to my steward who helped my classes run smoothly and to the exhibitors for your entries. I had some lovely dogs to go over.

CHIHUAHUA(SC)

1st Turnbull`s, a very pretty blue fawn bitch 20 months old. She had a lovely domed head with large eyes, and large faring correctly set ears which gave her an alert expression. Arched neck leading to well laid-back shoulders. She has ample forechest, a good turn of stifle, level top line and a well set on tail. Super brisk movement very attentive to her handler. BOB

2nd Emerson`s Ismirelle Queen of Drama, a nice fawn and white 6 ½ month-old dog. A pleasing apple head, large eyes with cheeky expression. Correct bite and flaring ears. Good lay back of shoulder, level top line set nicely up and over the back. Moved well.

1st Emerson`s Ismirelle’s Smooth Move, 6 ½ month-old fawn bitch. Very pretty well domed head with large eye and correctly set on flaring ears. She had a nice arch of neck nicely angulated at both ends, a level top line. Moved briskly around the ring with the correct tail carriage.
