Puppy Dog (2)

1st Linjor Tylers Choice (Ms L Harvey-Major) 7 month yellow dog who is still very much a roly-poly baby but he was just the right size with plenty of bone and nicely shaped feet. Obviously his head still needs to mature but he has a balanced muzzle and hazel eye. He has broad well shaped stifles which gave good propulsion around the ring BP

2nd Woolman Free and Easy (Mrs Y Shirton) Yellow dog just shy of 12 months who was much bigger than I prefer, he presented a clean outline with a good width of skull and well shaped eye. Shoulders were laid back but he just needs to drop into his frame. On the move he covered the ground showing good footfall.

Junior Dog (2)

1st Winsleywood Wilfred (J E Harris) Yellow dog who was a pleasing size and shape with a strong outline. He has such a typey head with the most melting of expressions, good width of skull and finished off with tidy ears which he put to good use. He flowed through the neck and shoulder with good length of upperarm, compact through the body and plenty of rib. He moved out showing plenty of drive just needs to settle to the job in hand.

2nd Lakemeadow Gilbert’s Gift (Miss J E Bold) Upstanding black dog with a bold masculine head and bright eye. He had strength throughout holding a firm topline with depth of chest. He has width to his stifle and a good second thigh which he used well on the move

PGrad Dog (4, 2abs)

1st Lakemeadow Gilbert’s Gift (Miss J E Bold) (2nd in Junior)

2nd Woolman Day Dream Believer (Mrs Y Shirton) Another who was really at the top end for height, he has a well balanced, masculine head with a bright well shaped eye. Strong through the neck and shoulders with depth to his brisket. Not quite the drive on the move as 1st today.

Open Dog (6, 2abs)

1st Warringah's The Bluff JW Sgwc (Mr D Coode) Fully mature black dog who for me was spot on for size, he has a classic head with a soft, gentle eye and well set ear. He is very powerful through the neck and shoulder with excellent depth and spring of rib, firm through the loin and a broad rear. He has the best of legs and feet and a free precise movement. When it came to the challenge I felt he was just a bit too weighty over the shoulder but a worthy RBOB

2nd Winsleywood Waghorn at Ravoakar JW (Mrs K & Mr C Bambrook) Exciting young yellow dog with cheeky expression and well placed ear. He is balanced in angulation with a firm topline held well standing and moving. Covered the ground well.

3rd Lakemeadow Gilbert’s Gift (Miss J E Bold)

Junior Bitch (1)

1st Winsleywood Wicked (Ms A Scutcher) Extrovert 16 month rich yellow with such a pretty feminine head, cracking pigmentation and a bright hazel eye. She is beautifully balanced with just the right amount of substance and angulation. A little bit fizzy on the move but when she did settle she showed free movement covering the ground well.

PGrad Bitch (3, 2abs)

1st Winsleywood Witchcraft (Ms A Scutcher) Very similar to the junior bitch and I see from the catalogue they are litter sisters. I would say this girl is a bit more forward in development and quite a bit more sensible. She is spot on for make and shape with a classic head and such a sweet expression and tidy well shaped ear. She is so well balanced with nothing overdone and neat legs and feet. On the move she showed extension and plenty of drive with a clean footfall. BOB

Open Bitch (3, 1abs)

1st Rochevale Palm Reader JW (Miss Z R Davis) Nice size black with a pretty head, good width to skull and well set ear. She has a moderate neck and lovely front assembly with depth of chest, just a fraction longer in coupling but held her topline and her broad rump gave strength and power.

2nd Woolman Carefree (Mrs Y Shirton) Yellow with a feminine head, good length of muzzle and skull and a bright hazel eye. She has balanced angulation and plenty of depth to her rib. Moved out well, feet were not quite as tight as 1st.
