PORTUGUESE WATER DOG CLUB 16/11/2025 SPECIAL CLASSES What a fabulous entry for these classes! Thank you to all who gave me an entry, the quality was very high particularly in the open class where some really good dogs were left unplaced. Thank you also to the club for the invitation and the lovely gift which I shall cherish. Junior D/B (9,2) 1 Adventure’s All the nights Like This Of Belezaflor (fin Imp) I liked this this beautiful girl very much, at just short of 12 months old she has much to admire and is very well made all through. Her head holds feminine traits and is well proportioned with medium size dark eye and well set close fitting ears, her neck is short and strong and she stands true in front on strong pasterns and roundish feet, well angulated fore and aft and developing well in chest and rib. Presented in good coat and condition and moving out briskly and with confidence. I have no doubts she will gain her crown! 2 Casa Do Ricidio Roulette Ankors (Imp Port) another promising young girl, looking strong and robust on the stack and out of a larger mould than the winner. Lovely head with good eye and nose pigment, strong bone with straight forelegs to correct feet, good spring of rib for her age and a firm topline to short muscular loin, well set tail carried correctly in the move. Pushed hard for 1st place today however I just preferred the hind angulation of the winner. 3 Portomel Santa Isabel At Bellville Limit D/B (5,1) 1 Majesix’s Flaming Hot At Peixinho a compact 4 yr girl balanced in front and rear angulation, pleasing head shape with enough width to her muzzle, she has depth to her chest with a firm topline to short strong loin, best mover in the class displaying soundness all ways with excellent rear action and carrying herself well. 2 Auldhelm Miss Marple female with a well proportioned head, eyes dark enough with an appealing expression but I would have liked a stronger muzzle. She stands true in front on moderately boned forelegs with just enough angulation at the shoulders, neck is short enough into a firm topline, needs to develop a little more in body but I liked her sound profile action where she moved out briskly and smoothly 3 Calladano Amadeus Andante Open D/B This was such a strong class with many excellent dogs being unplaced (15,4) 1 Ch Rarjo Captain Curl Macduff JW an impressive 2 yr old curly coated d, strong and muscular who I thought represented the standard very well, masculine head of good proportions with defined stop and strong muzzle, hight set ears, held close but used to advantage and all set on to a short strong neck, he is well angulated in front and stands on straight forelegs and strong pasterns, body is well developed with a good spring of rib and depth to chest, he is well angulated in the rear with good muscletone, such a smooth and fluid mover with a sound and brisk action and impeccably presented and handled 2 CH Rarjo Macduff Making Waves With Megalucie JW 2 yr old b and litter sister to the winner, as feminine as he is masculine and making a pleasing outline on the stack, well placed shoulders and ample spring of rib,in profile she moves out briskly with good drive but just needs to tighten up a little in front. Not the biggest but nicely proportioned and so well presented and handled. 3 CH Belleville Salva Vidas Bridgette Bodle
