PUPPY 5 entries

1ST MAGNAVALLEYS MIMOSA. 7 mths chocolate. Presents an excellent outline and carries a super topline. Excellent angulation. Pleasing head but a touch plain at present. Very sound on the move and carries her ‘Otter’ tail well.

2ND QUEEN OF RAIN Yellow. A nice pup whose head I preferred and she was better on the out and back. She is longer cast than the winner and not as finished in body.

3RD LEMBAS BROOKLYN AT MIBRIDGE

SPECIAL YEARLING 2 entries

1ST TRENDLEWOOD LONG TIME COMIN AT PUDLEIGH JW. BOB & G1. I really liked this high-quality yellow dog. Strongly built, short coupled, well boned. Typical clean-cut head, soft expression. Could be slightly better over the croup. Carries a hard dense coat. Easy mover who covers plenty of ground. Liked him enough to give him the group in some decent competition. Well done.

2ND ROSSACRE TINY DANCER. Longer cast black and softer in back. Very pretty head and expression. Doesn’t have the coat of the winner. Very good on the out and back.

GRADUATE 2 entries

1ST SMACOM CREAM HONOUR. Compact and strongly built with excellent barrel ribs, a tad steep in croup. Long well laid-back shoulders, well boned forelegs. Carries a decent coat and moved well.

2ND CLARISVIEW PRIMROSE. Finer built yellow who was not in great coat today. She is sound, carries a level topline and has a very pretty head.

LIMIT 6 entries 1 ABS

1ST MAGNAVALLEYS OVER THE MOON. RBOB. Had the best coat and condition in the class. Broad skull with definite stop, strong neck, wide quarters. Would prefer better tail carriage. Straight and true movement.

2ND CHYANHAL PENTEWAN AT PUDLEIGH. Much bigger dog and longer in loin than the winner. A touch heavy in head for my preference. Doesn’t have the top line of the winner but has excellent quarters. Could have gone with more verve.

3RD CARPENNY PADRAIG

1ST MEADOWLEIGH TURN BACK TIME. Strongly built chocolate with plenty of heart and lung room, well off for bone. In good coat and has a typical tail. Excellent side gait.

2ND TRENDLEWOOD DAY DREAMING. Doesn’t have the front of the winner and not in as good coat. Strong bone, round, compact feet. Decent head.

3 cracking littermates headed this strong class.

1ST AURGENTIOUS MENA DHU. BOB & BP. I found very little to fault and liked these brothers very much. Both very well made, balanced and symmetrical all through. Well off for bone, nicely chiselled head, kind expression, plenty of dog in front. Well muscled loin, muscular quarters, well bent stifles. Powerful driving movement. Could find nothing to beat him for BOB.

2ND AURGENTIOUS DEAROV IM. It was hard to choose between them.

1ST TILLSUN MISTLETOE PROMISES. RBOB. A lovely 18 mths bitch, moderately built and of an excellent make and shape. Very pretty head and a stylish and powerful mover.

2ND PUTJADE PERRAN BY GWYNGALA. A very stylish dog who didn’t have the shoulder placement of the winner. He has wide, powerful quarters with good second thighs. Handsome head and in super coat and condition. Flashy on the move.

1st CHAVEZ GOLDEN GLOW WITH WITHIFLOR. BP. Very good make and shape with a taut body. Touch narrow in front. Presented in excellent condition and displays a wonderful temperament.

2nd GRANDTULLY BIDDY FORD. Very pretty bitch whose shape I preferred. Squarely and sturdily built and very well presented. Just not as merry as the winner and was very unhappy in the ring. Sure she will have better days.

1ST REGALTAV VALENTINE TO SHENJELA. Super pretty bitch. Square in body, good ribbing, excellent angles and firm catlike feet.

2ND ALBERTEAN MINERVA JW. Doesn’t have the shoulder placement of the winner but she is of good type, has a very pretty head and carries a good coat.

1ST CACHEL POP THE QUESTION TO MELONERAS JW. RBOB. Presented in excellent condition, has a very good forehand with a well-developed chest, well sprung ribs, wide quarters and short hocks. Cleanly chiselled head, dark eye, would just like a little more length of neck. Sound and merry on the move.

2ND KEIGAME MYSTIQUE AURORA. RBOB. BP. Lovely head, good angulation, clean in outline. Stylish mover.

1ST STOWLEDGE SCILLA AT INCANTEVOLE. BOB. BP. Square and robustly built, lean skull, divergent planes, deep well sprung ribs, well angulated, thick skin, coarse coat. Relaxed mover.

2ND LYNDYCK IMO GRADY. Didn’t do himself any favours today, decent head, shortish neck, decent ribbing.

1ST SH CH AMBERELLIE ROSANNA ShCEx. RBOB. Loved her head with its divergent planes, soulful eyes and well-set ears. Great forehand and excellent rear angulation. Coarse dense coat. Would just have liked a little more of her. Moved well.

2ND SCODINZOLARE PICIL. Presents a square outline and is solidly built. Broad chest, ribs carried well back. Another lovely mover.

2ND GLEADSBURY WHATABOY AT MUJASCAL. BP. Just a baby but what a lovely shape he presents. Handsome head, good length of neck, excellent condition, moved well.

2ND MAYCOURT COVER SHOT. RBOB. Liked her make and shape, strong neck, well laid shoulders, typical head. Good coat. Good side gait.

1ST KAMAZE DANCE IN THE DARK. BOB. Very typey, all male but with a touch of elegance. Balanced head, very handsome, dark eye, strong arched neck, plenty of heart and lung room. Springy gait.

2ND SH CH WONGLEPONG WILLS FARAMIR ShCEx VW. RBOB. An old favourite of mine and at 10 years old still showing his socks off. A quality dog worthy of his title.

2ND DYMEXE MY CHERIE AMOUR JW. Elegant and stylish and presents a very good outline. Narrower in front than the winner and steeper in croup. Very pretty head. Active mover.

1ST LUSSAC YAWL OF PERCUIL JW SGWC. Moulded head, nicely made but a touch fine in bone. Longer cast than ideal but still a lovely type. Good neck and shoulders. In excellent coat and well presented.

2ND MONTEGRINO PIED PIPER FOR SAFFDALES JW. Good forehand but would like more forechest and better ribbing. Nevertheless, she is very attractive and stylish.

2ND PAJANBECK I HAVE A DREAM BY DRAKETOR. Good outline and well proportioned head. Happy disposition.

2ND VIZASH ELENK AT JAMZCO. A bigger bitch but lovely nevertheless. Very well made. Has a lovely greasy feel to her coat.

2ND IVYVIZBRIDGE JUST THOMAS. Noble in outlook, level back but doesn’t have the angulation of the winner. Excellent coat.

1ST ABACOT INTO THE UNKNOWN JW. A good moving dog in full coat and has good angulation. Carries himself well. Clean cut skull slightly wedge shaped.

2ND EUSANIT PEAKY BLINDER. Of good type, not quite the movement of the winner. Also in excellent coat.

2ND SH CH/IR SH CH RIVERWATCHER KODA. RBOB. A female version of the winner and I now see why; she is his daughter and has all of his qualities.

2ND SUELYNDA DREAM ON. Clumber. A very happy girl who was unlucky to come up against the winner. A very happy girl with not much to fault.
