Thank you to the officers and committee for inviting me to judge, for the lovely welcome to the show and to my steward for her efficient assistance in the ring. Thank you also to the exhibitors for their support.

GORDON SETTER PG(2) 1 Smith’s Kewstoke Sea Queen Zena (B) 16months. Nicely presented youngster shown in good muscle condition. Pleasing head of good proportions with soft expressive eyes. Clean neck, straight front, flat bone, elbows well let down. Equal angulation of front and rear assembly’s, good depth in brisket and ribbed well back to a firm loin. She moved well holding her top line and had a nice tail action. Glossy, flat, coal black coat. RBOB 2 Ackerley-Kemp’s Harley Manon Lescaut Yennadon (IMP CEZ) (B) 21 months. Another nicely presented youngster also shown in good muscled condition. Nice head of good proportions, lean cheeks, lovely dark eye with keen expression, strong, lean arched neck. A balanced outline, straight front, flat bone and elbows well let down. Good depth of brisket and ribbed well back into a strong loin. Glossy coal black coat with rich tan markings. Full of exuberance today she did settle to show a nice level top line on the move.OPEN (2) 1 Ackerley-Kemp’s Yennadon Highland Heidi (B) What a lovely balanced girl, eye catching in profile she has a feminine head of good proportions, lean cheeks, nice eye and keen intelligent expression. Lean arched neck leading into well placed shoulders, straight front, good flat bone, elbows well let down, good fore chest Well sprung ribs leading to strong loin. Good width in rear with well-muscled thigh and second thigh. Flat, coal black glossy coat with good rich tan. She held her top line on the move displaying an effortless style driving from straight, strong hocks winning her BOB. 2 Ackerley-Kemp’s Sh Ch Yennadon Reiver (B) Another from this kennel, similar in style to that of 1 so many attributes apply. Pleasing feminine head of good proportions, lean cheeks, nice eye with soft expression, tan colour just starting to falter, this girl does not show her mature years, on the move she went with a strong action only being piped by the style of 1.

All dentition good and bites correct.
