Many thanks to the Committee for their kind Invitation and honour to Judge Best in Show at this absolutely amazing new Venue at Embley School, steeped in history, set in absolutely beautiful scenic grounds and the Club itself going back to 1911. Wonderful hard working people and I was pleased to be assisted with Stewarding duties by Neil Hood who kept the Ring following through some challenging weather but all came good. Here were some quality Exhibits and well supported classes.

47 Wand ‘s Wanderhund California Girl B 8 yrs. Dachs Smooth Haired B/T Lovely skull and muzzle shape, alertly using ears, almond eye which is dark and expressive, good bite. Neck fits into good shoulder and good sternum and chest length and depth. Firm top line and good underline muscled thighs and neat hocks moved with fluidity and balance.

60 Howlett’s Ch. Skyswift Moonlite Serendane B Greyhound Re/W Super stylish silhouette on the stand. Alert attentive attitude dark eye, good shape to skull and muzzle with good dentition. Nice reach of neck and front assembly, good elbow fit to deep chest, well-muscled firm loins and thigh gives effortless ground cover keeping shape and balance.

Lovely blunt wedge shape to head and muzzle on parallel planes, slightest stop, ears used well with correct tips falling to frame a superb head and dark almond gentle expressive eye. Neck fits into well laid shoulders, lovely front angles and depth of brisket with well-fitting elbows. Firm top line and sweep to loins, correct croup and tail set and carriage, hocks are neat and low set. Moves with elegance and such light fluidity on correct shaped feet. 158 Frost, Frost-Treadwell & Walmsley Trelowen Amelia at Frostisen B Buhund. 7yrs Lovely feminine shape with light build. Good wedge to head and well set erect ears using them attentively, dark oval eyes. Well pigmented lips and good bite. Well laid shoulders, chest deep well fitting elbows straight front legs and good feet. Firm top line, nice moderate bend of stifle muscling and tidy hocks. Positive light active ground coverage with tail carried well.

Superb broad skull and ear set, good stop muzzle is deep with well pigmented tidy flews and dentition. Soft expression from dark eyes. Nice reach of neck into lovely front assembly, chest has width and depth. Stands on well boned straight front legs and correct pasterns and feet. Firm top line and loins, and croup giving good tail set and carriage, well-muscled rear thighs, neat hocks. Lovely front extension and drive from rear gives effortless ground covering balance and action. BVIS

Lovely ratios to skull defined stop, muzzle which has depth and blunt end gives correct bite tidy fitting flews. Eyes are dark and bright. Slope to shoulders, deep brisket, firm loins and top line, croup and thigh muscling and neat hocks give powerful driving rear and positive ground cover.

Lovely oblique set eyes with good pigment. Tight fitting flews and good dentition. Moderate neck length, well laid shoulders and straight front legs and slope to pasterns, compact oval feet. Good depth of brisket firm loins. Well-toned body and thighs, neat hocks, had positive gait from all angles. Well-presented harsh jacket and dense undercoat.

Flat skull, slight stop, and tapering to muzzle with good bite. Alert dark almond eye. Lean neck into lovely front angles, elbow fit to deep chest, round boned straight legs good pasterns and feet. Firmest of top line and loins. Nice bend to stifles and sound hocks. Moving has a powerful drive and lovely side gait, and was a bit enthusiastic but sound settled into fluid pattern.

Neck fits into lovely front assembly and elbow fit around chest and ribbing. Firm top line and croup give correct tail set and carriage. Neat hocks and stands on good feet. Moved with balance and fluidity in a well-presented quality jacket.

Lovely ratios to skull and muzzle, almond dark eyes and lovely pigment ears have desired ear rings on tips. Ample reach of neck into well laid shoulders, deep brisket and tidy elbows. Overall lovely muscle tone gives her a fluid balanced positive gait and using her correctly marked black ring on her tail and white flashing plume.

Arching to neck into well laid shoulders, deep chest and spring to ribbing and tuck up. Well defined thighs with well-let down hocks stands on knuckled feet. Really comes into his own on the move such light effortless ground cover retaining his shape. Absolutely loved him.
