Polish Lowland Sheepdog

Even though there weren’t many PONs the quality of these dogs is just amazing, in my notes I couldn’t stop using the word “wow”, I was pleased to see all of them are champions as they are definitely worthy of their titles, it was an honour to get to go over them and I definitely enjoyed my judging. I’d like to extend thanks to the society for my invitation and also to my steward who was kind and encouraging. Also thank you to my entries

OD (2,1) 1 CH Mybeards Sweep

When looking at this boy he shows a true rectangular sized body which enhances his profile making him lovely to look at. Didn’t disappoint when going over as this stunning male has an excellent head, broad and medium sized with correct proportions. He was in super condition, fit and well-muscled, good lay back of shoulders. Hindquarters are well angulated with strong hocks. Coat was shaggy, dense, and thick and well-conditioned. He was a star for his young handler who was very professional. RBOB.

OB (2,0) 1 Ch Mybeards Starshine

This young lady was just beautiful, she caught my eye in the initial first look, her profile was so attractive and very pleasing to look at. She was lovely to go over starting with her broad head which had equal proportions set with medium sized eyes, her head is covered with that typical profuse hair. She was well muscled and correctly angulated which creates her positive movement. This young lady presented a bit of a challenge for her young handler however this young handler rose to the occasion showing true professionalism as even though the dog was a tad naughty it didn’t phase this handler. Pleased to award them BOB.

2 Ch Mybeards Hera

Even though this girl is older than the rest she still looks amazing, she was a credit to her handler as she behaved perfectly. She had an appealing head covered in shaggy dense hair. She showed desirable characteristics of a polish which are bright and alert. Medium sized body also covered in a beautiful thick coat. Strong muscular neck leading into well laid-back shoulders, level topline and well-muscled. Good angulations and straight legs not turning in or out. This handler also did a lovely job of presenting her dog. On the final go round she just lost out to 1.
