My thanks go to the committee for this lovely appointment. A well run show and a great venue to match. I also thank all those who entered under me with some lovely dogs which were a pleasure to judge. Thank you to my two excellent stewards also.

Afghan Hound

Puppy

1st & BP - Mrs S & Mr P Bellringers’ - Cloudside Prince of Thieves at Johda - Smart pup of good size and balance. Shown in fantastic condition. Gold with a shaded mask and masculine throughout. Handsome expression still with his puppy furnishings, and a good eye. Good length of neck leading to well made front. Appropriate chest shape and depth. Nice feet. Chest of length and good tuck up. Level topline and good tailgate. Good strength and angles to his rear assembly. Carried himself well on the move with appropriate spring.

2nd - Mrs S & Mr P Bellringers’ - Cloudside Ebony Prince at Johda - Litter brother in a striking black colour, again shown in good condition throughout. Little less stature of first. Puppy furnishings covering his smart head of good proportions. Strong neck leading to appropriate lay of shoulder. Good forechest with fill. Nice shape to his ribs and of length. Level topline, firm, leading to nicely made rear. Moved with appropriate spring and drive, just couldn't match 1st overall.

1st & BOB - Mrs S & Mr P Bellringers’ - Pramya Keep Your Eyes On Me (Imp Fin) JW – 3 year old gold bitch with black mask, and of pleasing proportions. Super condition to her elegant coat. Feminine head with correct eye, nice neck length leading to ok front. Good chest fill and shape. Good feet. Good underline, would have liked a stronger topline. Good rear angulation with good muscle providing suitable propulsion. Moved well in profile, providing nice balance with good reach and drive with spring, also good width for and aft.

1st & BOB – Dr T Logvinenkos’ - Lynx Faster Than Light of Noldoli JW - Impressive dog of good type. Fantastic condition throughout with correct coat to match. White with some brown elements. Masculine head, long with a gentle eye and correct ear. Lovely neck length leading to good lay of shoulder. Good depth chest with fill. Straight front and correct feet. Correct shape to his ribs, and of length. Nice flow to his topline with rise. Smart rear assembly, with good angulation. Covered the ground with ease, with balance and width. Exciting future ahead as still only young.

1st & BOB - Ms V A Balls’ - Boughton Back in Time - Lighter brindle bitch, of good size and balance. Nice substance with good muscle throughout. Pretty expression, nice eye shape and correct ears. Neck of good length and power. Ok front shoulder placement. Straight front and good feet. Nice forechest with fill. Pleasing length to her ribs, with strong loin. Good underline. Well made rear of width with strong thighs. Balanced in profile and width when moving away.

1st - Ms V A Ball - Satteo Jet - Dog of good size and substance, well muscled throughout. Striking black in colour. Masculine expression with high set ears. Strong neck to ok front. Chest of appropriate depth and length. Good tuck up and slight arch to his loin. Good bend to his stifle. Drove out well with drive.

1st - Ms Y Ashbys’ - Regina Alessandra – 4 yr bitch of nice size and substance, providing a nice silhouette. Good head, long, with pleasing eye. Excellent ears, alert and well set. Good neck length leading to ok front. Good chest shape. ok topline and strong loin. Well made rear providing good drive in profile.

1st & BOB - Ms Y, Ms M & Miss C Ashbys, Cappelaere & Samways - Kurriera Krystal Amethyst – 8 yr old bitch shown in good condition. Balanced and of correct substance. Good wedge shaped head with chiselling. Excellent ears, of good size and set. Strong neck, of good length leading to a well made shoulder det. Appropriate depth of chest, with fill. Nice underline. Good topline. Well made and muscular rear assembly. Covered the ground well with minimal effort.

2nd - Mrs Panayiotis’ - Ynchreenoo Gold Edition – 6 yr old Bitch of nice size and strength throughout. Stood over plenty of ground. Smart head, wedge like with chiselling. Nice ears. Good length and strength to neck. well made front, with nice chest shape to match. Good fill. Ribs of length, with a strong loin. Good rear assembly to match. Moved well in profile with balance thanks to condition.

1st & BOB - Ms N Hamiltons’ - Artilily Bronte - Pretty puppy who took my eye. A pleasing overall shape, with balance, finished in silver grizzle. Head of good proportions, nice feathering to her ears. Excellent neck length leading to well made front. Appropriate depth of chest for age with good forechest to match. Nice feet. Good topline which she held on the move. Well made rear assembly providing plenty of drive. Covered the ground effortlessly in profile.

2nd - Dr Ma Ulyatts’ - Yamadan Kn Aijaz Haalim (Imp Usa) – Smart lad fawn who is just going through a growth spurt I feel, and raw. Handsome head of good proportions with nice feathering. Good neck length and ok front. Chest of appropriate fill for age. good length to his ribs. Ok topline leading to a well made rear. Rather enthusiastic on the move but saw enough to see potential.
