I would like to thank the committee of Fife GSD Club for my invitation to judge at their Open show. Thanks, must also go to my very helpful steward Karen Tyrell and the warm welcome I received from the sporting exhibitors. I was really pleased with the quality of exhibits shown under me.

1st Rogerson’s SISKIVA MR BRIGHTSIDE (Finleric Lugo at Siskiva x Barshar Ornah at Siskiva)

15 months old, black & gold male. Upper medium size and medium strength male with a good head and expression. Good height at wither into a clean overline with a slightly steep croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. Sound coming and going away. Once settled he shows a very good forward reach on the walk and the gait which won him the class.

2nd Lawrie’s GRAUERHUND ACE (Xavier Hazroh x Zandamor Gia)

13 months old, sable male. Large male with a strong masculine head and good expression. Normal wither with a good overline and a good length and lay of croup. He has excellent front and rear angulation. Sound coming and going. He was powerful on the walk but a bit unsettled on the gait but hopefully this will improve with training.

3rd Yates’ ZETAYS ATLAS (Xano vom Klostergarten x Suddick Belle at Zetays)

12 ½ months old, black & tan male. Large male with a strong head and good expression. Good height at wither into a clean overline with a slightly steep croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. On the walk he was pulling too much which made him peak in the back slightly. He gaited well but tends to raise his back slightly. He is still a young dog but could improve with training.

1st Brownlee’s NEERLAW’S GATSBY (Hazroh Xavier x Neerlaw’s Phoxx)

23 months old, sable male. Upper medium size and medium strength male with a good head and expression and a dark eye. Good height at wither into a clean overline with a slightly steep croup. Good length of foreleg with very good fore and rear angulation. Sound coming and going away. He walks well and shows a very good forward reach on the gait which won him the class.

2nd Halliday’s ABORIENTELUX RAUL (Wacron del Rione Antico x Diva vom Team Panoniansee)

22 months old, black & gold male. Upper medium size with a strong head and dark eyes. Good height at wither into a clean overline with a slightly steep croup. He has very good front and rear angulation. Sound coming and slightly close going away. He walks well and gaited really well once settled but he took a while to settle as he was pulling a lot at the start of the class. He did a really good individual and was unlucky today to come up against the first dog as he performed well and was really well handled by his young handler.

3rd MacKenzie’s MAZAROKO ICE (Ch Reno de la Petite Laeticia x Rafaye Snowqueen)

18 months old, black & gold male. Medium sized and medium strength male with a good head and expression but his head could be slightly stronger. Good height at wither into a clean overline with a short steep croup. He has a slightly steep upper arm and good rear angulation. He walks well but would prefer more forward reach on the move.

12 ½ months old, black & tan long coat male. Large male with a strong head and good expression. Good height at wither into a clean overline with a slightly steep croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. He walked very well and had very good forward reach and drive. Sadly, he stood alone in this class.

1st McGough’s RAFAYE KANTO (Reno von Angelius Team x Rafaye Angel)

2 years old, black & tan male. Large male with a strong head and very good expression. He has dark eyes but his ears are slightly wide set. Normal wither into a good overline with a good length and lay of croup. He has a very slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. He has a good length of foreleg and correct height to length proportions. Sound coming and going. He walked well and held his overline at all speeds. His far-reaching easy movement and very good hind drive won him the class and I was pleased to award him BEST DOG.

2nd Halliday’s ESKGYLE CUBA (Ch Gayville’s Vopus x Eskgyle Zani)

2 years old, black & tan male. Upper medium size and medium strength male with a good head and expression. Good height at wither into a clean overline with a slightly steep croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. He walked very well and retained his overline. He gaited well with good hind thrust but his forward reach could be slightly better.

3rd Turner’s RAFAYE RIKKOR AT TASELLA (Vesco vom Radhaus x Sadira Remi)

2 years old, black & tan male. Upper medium size and medium strength male with a good head and expression, although the light eyes slightly detract. Normal wither into a clean overline with a short steep croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. He walked very well and retained his overline. He gaited well with good hind thrust but his forward reach could be slightly better.

Shown out of coat and sadly he stood alone in this class.

Good length of foreleg with very good fore and rear angulation. Sound coming and slightly narrow away. He walked well and gaited well but sadly stood alone in this class.

3 years old, black & tan long coat male. Large male with an excellent head and expression. He has a lovely dark eye and dark head and was shown in excellent coat condition. Good height at wither into a clean overline with a good length and lay of croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. Sound coming and going away. He walked very well and had very good forward reach and drive but he can peak his back at times. A super quality male and I was pleased to award him BEST LONG COAT DOG & RESERVE BEST DOG.

2nd Smeaton’s LORGYLE AARON (Iolanda Dax at Kidaforce x Kidaforce Alessandra at Lorgyle)

5 years old, black & tan long coat male. Upper medium size and medium strength male with a good head and expression and a dark eye. Normal wither into a clean overline with a slightly short steep croup. He has a slightly short steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. Sound coming and going away. He walked very well and gaited well with good hind thrust but his forward reach could be slightly better.

Performed very well for his age.

1st Docherty’s MULAN VON SPRINGBERG (Hercules von Blockenbrink x Gipsygardens Uthe)

7 months old, sable long coat female. Medium sized female with a lovely head and expression. The ears are slightly wide set. Normal wither into a clean overline with a croup of good length and angle. She has very good front and rear angulation. Slightly stretched in proportions. Puppy looseness coming and going but I am sure this will firm with age. She walks well and shows a very good forward reach and drive on the gait which won her the class. I think she will have a bright future. I was pleased to award her BEST PUPPY BITCH.

2nd McGrath’s HOWLINWOLF WHOLE OF THE MOON (Antilli Odin x Mascani Shandor at Howlinwolf)

7 months old, black & tan female. Medium sized female with a lovely head and expression. Normal wither into a clean overline with a slightly short flat croup. She has a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. She was sound coming and going. She walked very well and gaited very well with good reach and drive. A lovely puppy who performed well and was happy in the ring.

10 months old, black & tan female. Upper medium sized female with a lovely head and expression. Good height at wither into a clean overline with a slightly steep croup but of good length. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. On the walk she was pulling too much which made her raise in the back slightly. She has excellent forward reach on the gait well but tends to raise his back slightly. She is still a young female who is still growing but one for the future.

15 months old, sable female. Upper medium sized female with a strong but feminine head and alert expression. Good height at wither into a clean overline with a good length of croup but slightly steep. Good length of foreleg with very good front and rear angulation. She is firm and dry and presents herself very well on the walk and gait with excellent forward reach and hind drive. She is a lovely young female who will have a bright future.

She was shown out of coat and very immature but she walked very well and has a very easy side gait with excellent forward reach and drive. She will be a lovely female once she has fully matured.

She has a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. She was sound coming and going. She walked very well and gaited very well with good reach and drive.

2nd McCarvel’s DRAMA VON ARLETT (Bazooka de Casa Celta x Gaga von Arlett)

23 months old, black & gold female. Large female with a lovely dark mask and expression. Good height at wither into a firm overline with a slightly steep croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. She was shown out of coat, so not looking at her best. She walked very well and has a very easy side gait with excellent forward reach and drive.

Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. She walked very well and has a very easy side gait with excellent forward reach and drive. She was really well handled by her young handler and I was pleased to award her RESERVE BEST BITCH.

2nd Rogerson’s HUNDARK HAVOK AT SISKIVA (Ch Reno de la Petite Laeticia x Hundark Alona)

2 years old, black & gold female. Large female with a lovely feminine head & expression and a nice dark eye, although I would prefer a slightly darker mask. Good height at wither into a firm overline but the croup is slightly short. Good length of foreleg with good front angulation and very good rear angulation. She was sound coming and going. She walked very well and gaited very well with very good reach and drive.

3rd Gouck’s VOMZOARHOFF MURRON (Vomzoarhoff Henry x Hausmuller Alva)

3 years old, black & tan female. Upper medium sized female with a pretty, feminine head and good expression. Normal wither into a firm overline with a peak in her back and a steep croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. Walks well with a powerful hind drive but she tends to peak in the back slightly. She gaited well with good drive but could have better forward reach. She was shown in excellent condition with a lovely shine on her coat.

2 years old, black & gold female. Upper medium sized female with a lovely feminine head & expression and a nice dark eye, although I would prefer better stop. Good height at wither into a firm overline with a well moulded croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. She was sound coming and going. She walked very well and gaited very well with very excellent reach and drive. Another lovely female who performed really well in this class.

4th Harper’s MEGGY VOM MAILANDERMANN (Zamp von Aurelius x Nayka del a Crous Kiwis)

2 ½ years old, black & tan female. Large, strong substantial female with a good expression and a dark eye. Normal wither into a firm overline with a well moulded croup. She has excellent front and rear angulations, has a good length of foreleg and correct height to length proportions. She walked well and has excellent forward reach and drive on the gait but sadly was shown over weight but an excellent female who should produce well.

5th Gouck’s CRUAGHAIRE CHEWBACCA (Conbhairean Tobias x Cruaghaire Wrizo)

2 years old, sable long coat female. Upper medium sized female with a nice head & expression and a nice dark eye. Normal wither into a firm overline with a slightly flat croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and good rear angulation. She was ok coming and slightly narrow going. She walked well and gaited very well but she tended to level out on the move.

2nd MacKenzie’s BEEBERHOOS LOREEZA (Ch Dorsey of Jonimay / Beeberhoos Cee Cee)

2 ½ years old, black & tan female. Large, strong substantial female with a beautiful expression and a dark eye. Normal wither into a firm overline with a well moulded croup. She has excellent front and rear angulations, has a good length of foreleg and correct height to length proportions. She walked well and has excellent forward reach and drive on the gait but tends to put her head down when moving.

She was sound going away but she elbows out coming towards and is loose in the pasterns. She walked very well and gaited very well with very excellent forward reach and drive. I was pleased to award her BEST LONG COAT BITCH.

4 years old, black & tan long coat female. Upper medium sized female with a strong but feminine head & lovely expression, and a lovely dark eye. Normal wither into a firm overline with a well moulded croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. She was sound coming and going. She walked very well and gaited very well with very excellent reach and drive. Another lovely female who performed really well in this class.

11 ½ years old, black & tan long coat female. Upper medium sized female with a beautiful feminine head & lovely expression, and a nice dark eye. Good height at wither into a firm overline with a well moulded but slightly steep croup. Good length of foreleg with very good fore and excellent rear angulation. She was sound going away but she elbows out slightly coming towards. She walked very well and gaited very well with very excellent forward reach and drive. She still loves to perform and is in great condition for her age.

2nd McCarvel’s JANEFIELD X-FACTOR (Conbhairean Karlos x Janefield Unique)

8 years old, black & tan female. Upper medium sized female with a pretty, feminine head and good expression. Good height at wither into a firm overline with a slightly steep croup. Good length of foreleg with a slightly steep upper arm and very good rear angulation. Walks well with a powerful hind drive and gaited very well. She looked well for her age.
