Firstly I would like to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge at this prestigious show, I thoroughly enjoyed my day judging some amazing breeds, the quality of exhibits was exceptionally high and I had to make difficult decisions in my placings, but I was very pleased with my winners, and also thank you to all those exhibitors that entered their beautiful dogs under me, thank you all for gracefully accepting my decisions, and with great sportsmanship between exhibitors.

And not for getting my two stewards who did an amazing job of keeping the show ring running smoothly.

Congratulations to all my winners and to Cheltenham DCS for putting on a well organised and very successful show.

Hutton & Walker’s WHITEWREATH TRIGGER FINGER 13mts R/W Bitch, Quality girl with a beautiful head, endearing dark eyes, small neat erect ears in line with back of neck, correct scissor bite, she has a good stop with clear furrow, strong muscular neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct high tail set, she has an excellent jacket of good depth in fabulous condition, nicely muscled throughout, good front and rear angulation, She moved well around the ring with an even and powerful gait, keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and expertly handled to perfection. Humpries & Iason’s WHITEWREATH RED ALERT WITH MINIOSO 7mths R/W Bitch, Another Quality girl with a beautiful head, lovely dark eyes, small neat ears in line with back of neck, correct scissor bite, good stop with clear furrow, strong neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest with good spring of rib and short loin, good tail set, she has a lovely thick jacket of good depth in excellent condition, well defined markings, good front and rear angulation, nicely muscled throughout, good front and rear angulation, she moved out well covering the ring with style, keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and expertly handled. Thompson & Fowkes HOKUSHOU GO DARUMA KENSHA WJW24 (IMP ITA) 18mths R/W Dog, Loved this handsome boy, he caught my eye with his overall balance and substance, very masculine head with beautiful dark eyes, lovely thick ears, correct scissor bite, well defined stop, thick strong neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, nicely ribbed back with short loin, tightly curled tail, in excellent coat, nicely muscled throughout, well boned legs with strong hocks and tight feet, he has lovely sound movement with a smooth even gait, keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and handled to perfection, I was pleased to award him BOB & Utility Group 4

Sandell’s SNOWSHOES MACAROON FOR SHAWMUT 8mths Pure Wite Dog, handsome boy with lovely dark eyes, correct scissor bite, adequate stop, small erect ears, lovely strong arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, well ribbed back with short loin, correct plumed tail set, coat of correct texture, nicely muscled throughout, small neat feet, he moved around the ring with confidence, covering the ground well with a swift even gait, keeping a level topline on the move, well presented and expertly handled.

2. Bliss’s CHARNEY GOING FOR GOLD 6mths Pure White Bitch, lovely pretty girl but was a little nervous in the ring today, which I think was her first show, I’m sure she will gain confidence as she matures. Lovely dark eyes, correct scissor bite, strong neck, good depth of chest for her age, well spung ribs with short loin, correct tail set which unfortunately due to her nervousness she kept it down on this occasion, nicely muscled throughout, it was difficult to assess her movement today but I’m sure she will improve with maturity and gain her confidence.

Bambridge’s CHARNEY CALISTA 16mths Pure White Bitch, dark eyes, correct scissor bite, strong neck with well-placed shoulders, adequate depth of chest, nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct tail set, excellent coat texture, nicely muscled throughout, moved around the ring in synch with her handler covering the ground well she with a smooth even gait, well presented.

Johnston & Atkinson’s WINKLESTAR NAMID 18mths Silver Grey & Black Dog, a sturdy youngster with dark spectacled almond shaped eyes, he has a lovely wedged shaped masculine head with a dark mask, well-defined stop, correct scissor bite, small neat ears set well into large ruff, arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, good spring of rib with short loin, correct tail set carried high with tight curl, he has an exceptional profuse coat of correct texture, compact in body and nicely muscled throughout, good strong rear angulations, hocks well let down, he moved around the ring with great confidence and with a brisk effortless gait keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and handled to perfection. Henson & Dearman’s ZANDVOORT ETERNAL FLAME FOR PYREKEES 16mths Silver Grey & Black Bitch, lovely feminine head, beautiful dark spectacled almond shaped eyes, good stop, correct scissor bite, lovely dark mask, small neat ears, nice arched neck into well placed shoulders, adequate depth of chest nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct tail set with good curl to tail, she has a lovely profuse coat of correct texture, good front and rear angulations, hocks well let down, she moved around the ring with confidence and with a with brisk action, keeping a level topline on the move, well presented.

Rose’s CH.DIANAKEES INSPECTOR MORSE AT ESORKEES 3yo Silver Grey & Black Dog, very masculine boy with typical wedge shaped head with large thick ruff, lovely dark spectacled almond shaped eyes with a well-defined stop, small thick triangular ears, correct scissor bite, strong muscular neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, good spring of rib with short loin, correct tail set with a lovely tight curl, amazing profuse coat of correct texture, he covered the ground well with clean brisk movement, keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and expertly handled. He was seriously considered for BOB but on this occasion, it was splitting hairs in the challenge and I just preferred the movement of the SY Dog.

Scarll & Sykes CHIC CHOIX TINY JEWELS MIDNIGHT SUN WITH TIMAZINTI (IMP FIN) 7mths Gold Bitch, I wrote in my notes “WOW WHAT A STUNNER!” she has beautiful dark oval eyes, correct reverse scissor bite with a short muzzle, beautiful pendant well feathered ears, well arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, she is well balanced throughout, nicely muscled, good depth of chest with good spring of rib and with a short loin, correct well feathered high tailset which she carried well over back, well feathered round feet, she has an amazing coat for her age, in excellent condition, she moved around the ring with freely and with and effortless gait, keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and handled to perfection, I’m sure she has a great show career ahead of her BP

Huntley’s WRENWROX RUMOUR HAS IT 6mths White & Black Bitch, another beautiful girl who oozed quality, she has lovely dark oval eyes, with adequate stop, correct reverse scissor bite, lovely arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct tail set, nicely muscled throughout, lovely round feet, she moved around the ring with confidence keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and expertly handled.

Huntley’s WRENWROX LOVES TO PARTI 12mths Gold & White Bitch, lovely dark eyes, correct reverse scissor bite, with a medium stop, arched neck into well laid shoulders, good depth of chest with nice spring of rib and short loin, she has a beautiful coat for her age, coat in excellent condition of correct texture correct tailset with a heavily furnished tail, which she carried nicely over her back, small round heavily furnished feet, she moved around the ring with elegance and style keeping a level topline on the move, she was a picture standing, well presented and expertly handled.

Morris’s WITCHGAIT BREAKING BAD WITH ASHOWAI 9mths Red Fawn Dog, a lot to like about this boy, he’s very masculine with a super head and with that typical Shar Pei frown, dark eyes, with correct scissor bite and pigment, good depth of chest for age, nice spring of rib with short loin, tail set high carried in tight curl over back, good rear angulation with well let down hocks, he was a little unsettled at first but soon settled down, covering the ring with a free vigorous and balanced movement keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and handled to perfection BP & Puppy Group 4

Sutherland & Bradley’s CH.EKI ZIMURRAK JOLEROB WHEN YOU SMILE FOR WITCHGAIT (IMP ESP) 5yo Fawn Dog, Super Quality loved this boy, fabulous dark eyes, correct scissor bite with good pigment, he has that lovely shar Pei frown so typical of this breed, strong neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest and nicely ribbed back with short loin, muscular hind quarters which he used to advantage on the move, he covered the ground well in synch with his owner, with free vigorous and balanced movement keeping a level topline on the move, looked so square standing I had no hesitation in awarding him BOB & Utility Group 2

Bull & Warren’s ZARALEE I’M STILL STANDING AT STARFERRY (IMP IRE) 5yo Red Fawn Dog, masculine head of correct proportions, lovely dark eyes, correct scissor bite with good pigment, nice Shar Pei frown with good wrinkle, small neat well set ears, strong neck down into well placed shoulders, good spring of rib with short loin, correct tailset with good curl of tail carried well on the move, he covered the ground well with free flowing movement, he was a picture standing just preferred the movement of 1, well-handled and expertly presented.

Gilkes & Finnanger’s HIN CHEN’S MY JULIETTE (IMP NOR) 9mths Gold & White Bitch, I wrote “WOW WHAT A STUNNER!” She oozed quality with the most beautiful endearing dark eyes, wide open nostrils, correct bite, with a well-defined stop, lovely arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest for her age, nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct high tailset with an amazing plume, in excellent coat and of correct texture a credit to her owner, she moved around the ring with such sparkle and confidently covered the ground well with and effortless smooth gait keeping a level topline on the move, she certainly showed her socks off and was a picture standing, I was pleased to award her BP

Spencer-Down’s CHANIKOS HARPER SEVEN AT EVIESHU 9mths Black & White Bitch, Another stunning young girl she is so adorable with beautiful dark eyes, wide open nostrils, good stop, correct bite, lovely arched neck, good depth of chest for age with good spring of rib and short loin, correct tailset with a lovely plume carried over back, in excellent coat of correct texture, nicely muscled throughout, she moved out with determination and covered the ground well keeping a level topline on the move, well-presented and expertly handled.

I couldn’t take my eyes off her as she showed her socks off! Manners ROOPEC JUST ONE MORE Schipperke, 13mths Black Bitch, she stood alone in her class but what a sweetheart, giving me lots of kisses on the table, I think her owner called her “Jelly bean” she was certainly very lively and alert so typical of this breed, she has such beautiful dark eyes, correct scissor bite, small erect ears, she has a strong neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest for age, good spring of rib with short loin, correct tail set, she was in excellent coat for her age and of correct texture, correct tail set tightly curled over back, she is nicely muscled throughout, with small feet and standing well on her toes, she moved around the ring with a smooth effortless gait, well-presented and expertly handled.

Cassidy’s YRGALEM DREAM OF COFFEE AT CHINASKYS (IMP POL) Xoloitzcuintle (Standard), 22mths Black Dog, I wrote “WOW STUUNING BOY” I was so taken by this boy, he had my attention as soon as he entered the ring, he has such endearing amber eyes, correct scissor bite, he has a slight but defined stop, he has very elegant erect ears, his skin is so soft and warm to touch with his skin in such beautiful condition, he is so athletically built and has a lovely slender arched neck flowing into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, nicely ribbed back with short loin, correct high tailset long and thin tapering from base to tip with slight curl to tail which he carried well on the move, well-muscled throughout, he was so alert and he moved around the ring with such confidence with an elegant springy step and in synch with his owner keeping a level topline on the move, he was a picture standing, well-presented and handled to perfection, I was pleased to award him BOB & Utility Group 1

Cunningham’s CRACKER OF YULYEONG (IMP KOR) Korean Jingo, 5yo Red Fawn Dog, another handsome boy, he certainly oozed confidence in the ring, lovely dark eyes giving that keen expression so typical of this breed, good stop with a slight furrow over his forehead, correct scissor bite, strong arched neck into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest nicely ribbed back with short loin, in excellent coat of correct texture, nicely muscled throughout, strong hocks well let down, he moved out with good drive and covered the ground well with a free flowing even gait, keeping a level topline on the move again in synch with his owner, well presented and expertly handled.

Cassidy’s RING RIDER WRECKING BALL AT CHINASKY’S (IMP HRV) Xoloitzcuintle (Standard), 8mths Black Bitch, such a beautiful young girl, with endearing beautiful clear eyes with correct scissor bite, she has a very pretty crown of hair on her head, she has such elegant erect ears and has lovely soft warm smooth skin in excellent condition, she has a lovely strong slender neck which flowed nicely into well placed shoulders, she has good depth of chest with good spring of rib and short loin, correct tailset with long thin tapering tail from base to tip with slight curl, she moved out well with confidence covering the ground well with elegance and with a free flowing springy step keeping a level topline one the move, and in synch with her owner, I was pleased to award her BP & Utility Puppy Group 1
