Junior (3,2) 1st Hateley’s Mohnesee’s The Charm Master JW. 1yr old sable and white male lovely type good head, dark eye and ears used well to produce a lovely expression. Shoulder a little steep, which effected his front extension, good rear, excellent coat,. BP

O (3,2) 1st Hateley’s Mohnesee’s Meliya. 2yr old tricolour bitch, petite, pretty lovely dark eye excellent use of ears very pleasing head, good expression. Good layback of shoulder. Correct length from good ribbing and strong loin. Good bone for her size
Effortless movement, very correct, really liked her. BOB G2

collie (rough)

J. (6,5) 1st Vogan’s Lenosann Wildest Dreams. 9 month old sable and white bitch nice head, good fill of muzzle and enough backskull. Could do with a bit more stop which affected her eye placement. Her eye is dark and a good shape . Strong, well arched neck, into good shoulders, a good return of upper arm. straight, well covered leg, feet ok. Lovely length of body, good coat. Rear strong enough for her age. BP PG2. 2nd Beardsworth’s Wicani Dulcibella Gyda Maysinder, nine month old blue merle, promising puppy. Many of the same comments apply. however I preferred the eye shape on the winner, this bitch is a bit round in eye which spoilt her expression, she is also a touch narrow but she is young and time is on her side. 

PG (1,0) 1st Garside’s Jessopdays it’s now or never., four yr old sable bitch. Nice type, good bone, good eye but could be darker. She is a good shape. a little narrow all through rear could be stronger and a little close behind. Open (3,0) 1st Beardsworth Maysinder Sapphire Reign. Blue merle bitch I've judged before, absolutely love her. 
She's got a beautiful type, lovely head, good length of skull, well rounded fore face and flat backskull. Good neck in to well placed shoulders. Well covered, strong bone. Fitted coat, beautiful dark eye, moves very well. Love her type. BOB G3. 2nd Garside’s Demelewis Gang Leader. 5yr old sable male, happy boy and a lovely type, good eye, good coat, moves well, head, handles well with filled muzzle and enough backskull. Good dark eye, good ears. Preferred the length of the winner. He could have done with a bit more loin.


Australian shepherd

G. (2,0) 1st Bluck, David & Walsh’s Rosschell Made of Frost. eight month old blue merle male lovely type very pleasing head and a good eye. He has a good neck into well placed shoulders and a good return of upper arm, good strong bone, excellent feet, good ribbing, level top line, beautiful colour, strong rear, a bit unsettled on the move, but did enough to win the class and eventually, BP, BOB, PG4. 2nd, Cummings’ Kesalko Rider of the Storm. 7 month old tricolour dog, very raw. Lots of bone and still got plenty of growing to do so going to take some time to come into himself, as you would expect at this age, a nice dog with a good type. 

Open tricky class, 1st Downes’ Acotar Faye Via Draconis at Milwyr (IMP CZE) 14 month old blue merle bitch very pretty really liked her head type. She's got a well developed. front, excellent muscle, great ribbing, good strong loin, good rear. Unfortunately, she is a bit long and low. 2nd Downes’ Damani Dream Miramax Similar comments apply. 
He has great head type, good ribbing, level top line, a little bit hard to assess today because he was being silly. But again, would prefer more leg for a balanced Australian shepherd shape. 

Border Collie

G. (1,0) 1st. Garside & Davis. Starside Break Every Rule. 2yr old bitch. Ultra feminine, lovely type, fluid mover though a little short stepping. Pleasing head, enough substance, good feet which is so essential for this breed but often lacking. Nice girl, a little unsure of herself.

O. (2,0) 1st Garside & Davis. Starside Tina Turner. Litter sister to graduate winner. Very cheeky and really made me laugh today. Lovely type, good head with correct proportions and pleasing expression. Good development of chest, well laid back shoulders and return of upper arm. Moved well when she behaved herself. BOB. 2nd Garside. Harbecca Noahs gift. 6yr old bitch. Different style to 1 but a nice type. Plenty of bone, a little lacking in front angulation which lost her the class. Steady on the move. 

Finnish lapphund.

G and O same results. 

1st Lloyd’s Arianrhod Havukruunu (AI). 17 month old male. Really nice type. Good head with correct proportions. Bite could be better as verging on level. Strong neck, well laid back shoulders and good return of upper arm. Excellent coat, plenty of bone. A little straight behind. Moved well. BOB G4. 2nd Lloyd’s Arianrhod Amorphis. Nearly 10yr old bitch. Lovely type and well made but showing her age.

AVNSC Pastoral

P. Downes & Cummings. Melchior Joseph Persia. 7 month old Maremma Sheepdog. Very raw baby but completely expected at this age in a large breed. Very nice type and very little to knock him on when stood. Balanced with good angles, excellent bone and good feet. Head handles well, good head pattern and lovely eye shape and placement. Moved ok but a little stiff behind, again this is a big dog and time is on his side. I think he will be a lovely dog when mature. BP PG3. 2nd Baily and Hancocks. Parabar Pistachio. Plucky little Lancashire heeler and so much to like. Great type, lovely head and so well muscled throughout. Gave the appearance of a really quality, function dog. Balanced with good angles front and back. Lost out as was very difficult to assess on the move as he was being a bit silly. Came back in the next class and was so much better. 

J. Baily and Hancocks. Parabar Pistachio. (2nd P)

PG. Gracie’s Mournebrake Pretty Little Angel Eyes at Celebros. 2yr old Hungarian Puli. Good type, good coat with well textured cords. To go over she is very balanced with enough angulation front and rear. On the move she tended to pace but moved much better in the BOB challenge to be awarded RBOB. 

O. 1st Stephen’s Ch Chalksville made of Magic for Brightmeadow. German Shepherd Dog. This is a dog I have judged before as a puppy and he impressed me so much then, 18 months later it was a pleasure to go over him again. An impressive male, so balanced on the stand with a beautiful flowing outline. No part of him exaggerated. Every piece of him was free from weakness, from his masculine head to his powerful hocks. Strong, muscular neck in to well laid back shoulders, good length and return of upper arm in to straight forelegs with plenty of covering on them. Plenty of ribbing, strong loin, correct croup. Strong rear with powerful hocks. This dog has excellent bone to complete a strong frame capable of accommodating plenty of muscle. On the move is where he comes in to his own. Excellent reach and drive as he ate up the ring, turning with ease and agility. He is a beautiful dog to watch and exactly what a German Shepherd should be. An easy decision to award him BOB and G1 - thrilled to see him go all the way to BIS. Congratulations. 2nd Jones. Barleydust Fancy Foxtrot. 19 month old Lancashire heeler. A bonny bitch with plenty to like about her. Good head, strong neck in to well placed shoulders and plenty of substance for her size and still very feminine. Moved very well.

O. 1st Var Des Monts Lokiralgris at Puidelup. 8 month old Icelandic sheepdog. Very pretty bitch. Correct wedge shaped head with good ears and dark eye. Balanced throughout with good front and rear to match. When settled, moved very soundly. Really appealing puppy and would love to see her as a mature adult. A pleasure to go over her today and very pleased to award her PG1

1st Hateley Mohnesee Sweet dreams JW VW. Sheltland Sheepdog. Absolutely beautiful Sable and white Bitch. Standing she is an absolute picture and cannot be denied. Nice breed typical head, lovely dark eye and ears used to advantage to give pleasing expression. Coat of excellent texture and well fitted. On the move effortless and covers the group well. Put up a fabulous performance in the main ring. 

2nd LLoyd. Ir Ch Arianrhod Finntroll JW. 10yr old Finnish Lapphund. This male came in to his own on the move. Exceptionally well balanced. Good breed type and looking very well for his 10yrs.
