National Dog Show – The Birmingham Dog Show Society Ltd

Lhasa Apso 11th May 2025

This breed is very competitive and without question the presentation of exhibits across all the classes was to a very high standard. My main observation were mouths. There were several scissors’ bites and one wry, which is disappointing. With these faults comes in my opinion the loss of that that wonderful resolute expression.

My thanks to the exhibitors who accepted by decisions with grace and sportsmanship and to both my stewards on the day who kept the ring in good order.

Minor Puppy Dog (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Taylor, Mr S & Johnson, Mr James DENZKA ELDRITCH TO SIFRASON. This 6-month-old presented a balanced outline, compact with a strong neck. A masculine head of good proportions with correct eye shape, frontally placed. Excellent pigment He has a good spring of ribcage and is well ribbed back, holding a level topline both stacked and on the move. He has a well laid shoulder and acceptable return of upper arm. It was his first show and didn’t really find a pace on the move, but when he did, he was sound behind and front action needs to settle. Profile movement was balanced. Presented and handled well. Just needs time.
