DOGS

SBD (2,1) 1st Hills’ Merchinetes Padrig 17 months old, super head with kind dark eyes, excellent outline, plenty of bone, super neck leading into well laid shoulders. Lacking in maturity at this stage and needs a bit more bodyweight but he will be worth waiting for. I liked him a lot.

VD (1,0) 1st Williams' Sh Ch Isfryn Spot the Difference Trebettyn VW BV, Hard to believe this boy is 10 years old, he is like a fine wine he gets better with age. Has the best of temperaments showing that he is a great ambassador for the breed. He is well constructed and in excellent condition and well-muscled, excellent neck and deep body, correct topline, moving with plenty of drive could certainly show the younger ones how to move. Today he was on top form although stood alone in this class he pulled out on the stops to clinch best veteran in breed.

PD (2,1) 1st Burchmore & Bowds’ Lenamore Renegade (ai) BP, nice dark eyes, very well-muscled for a dog so young, very workmanlike, lovely rich red coat, would prefer tighter feet, was shortlisted in a strong puppy group, congratulations.

JD (3,1) 1st Gaylor & Robertsons’ Gilstonia Run Red Rum For Aprilflash, 17 months old with a super head with a cheeky expression he certainly is a clown. Plenty of bone, lovely neck and shoulders with catlike feet, when settled he moved with reach and drive, pushed for top honours but needs maturity and time, will be watching him with interest. 2nd Hills’ Merchinetes Padrig.
