1. Hannington’s Eng & Bel Dutch Int Ch Esp Ch Boudivella Osca VW. 11 year old quality Wheaten, fit as a fiddle and carrying good bone and substance. Masculine head with good width to his skull and strength to his fore face, well set rose ears and clear dark brown expressive eyes. Muscular neck leading to well laid shoulders, good width to chest, well ribbed and strong top line with slight rise towards his strong loins. All topped off with a well presented harsh jacket. Came alive on the move with great freedom of movement and making the most of himself whist retaining his top line and tail carriage. Just pipped by his lovely son, but well worthy of RBD and Best Veteran in Breed.

1. George’s Tommy Beau. 8 month lad who shows much promise and he has such an appealing temperament, pleasing for type with a nicely balanced outline. His head is of good proportions, with good width of skull, super eyes, very expressive, neat ears and good bite. Moderate length of neck, rib developing, and he is well bodied for his age with a firm top line with slight rise towards his loins. Showed himself off well on the move, looking particularly good in profile with a free easy stride, just needing to firm up a little in front but that will come with time. Shown in lovely jacket and condition. BPD and just had the edge in terms of maturity over the very nice BPB, to take BPIB.

1. Hannington’s Boudivella Love Story. This quality young wheaten lad caught my eye as soon as he appeared in the ring, making the most of himself at all times and shown in great condition. Well off for bone and substance, with fabulous muscle tone and a well presented harsh jacket to complete the picture. Quality head, well proportioned with good width to skull, neat well placed ears, dark expressive eyes and strong jaw. Good front assembly, with nice breath of chest, strong muscular neck, top line has a slight rise towards loins leading to a well set on tail. Sound as they come, using his powerful hindquarters to really stride out with a free and easy ground covering gait. Delighted to award him Best Junior, BD and BOB. I thought he gave a very good account of himself in the group.

2. Sage & Saletti’s Jojase Brandon Dark Blue. This lad has a pleasing masculine head of good proportions and dark expressive eyes, good strength to jaws, not using his ears quite as well as he could. Decent front assembly, with good width of chest. Muscular neck of good length to balance, well ribbed, firm top line with slight rise towards loins. Once he settled on the go around, he went well in profile and when coming towards, the winner just the edge when going away. Had a little more body, coat and substance at than his litter brother standing 3rd.

3. Hardy’s Jojase Brogan Midnight Blue With Amhard.

PGD (1)

1. Hardy’s Jojase Brogan Midnight Blue With Amhard. Blue lad who pleased for outline and size. Masculine head with good breadth to skull, expressive eyes and well placed neat ears with good strength to his jaws. Strong neck leading to well sloped shoulders, good ribbing, firm top line with slight rise towards loins. Not in the fullest of coats at the moment and still developing in body, but that will come with time. On the go around, he had very good profile action, covering the ground with ease, just needing to firm up a little when going away.

1. George’s Romainville Mikkee Blue. Thought this blue lad had a good combination of bone, size and substance. Quality head with good breadth to his skull, well set expressive eyes, not using his ears as well as he could today. Decent front assembly with good width of chest, muscular neck, leading to well sloped shoulders, very good ribbing with well-muscled loin and tail good for set and carriage. Not quite in the fullest of coats, but very well presented. Moved out well with drive from his well developed hind quarters.

2. Hardy’s Amhard Tornado. Wheaten lad, not quite the body or substance of the winner, at the moment so appears a fraction longer cast but he still appeals very much for his breed type. Liked his balanced masculine head with good width to his skull, round expressive eyes, well placed ears and strength to his jaws. Strong neck, leading to nicely sloped shoulders, good top line with slight rise towards the loins. Can stand a little untidily in front on the stack, but when gaiting, he went well, particularly in profile with a good ground covering action.

GCD (1)

1. Saletti’s Jojase Blarney Magic Blue. Mature blue lad of good length with decent bone and plenty of substance. Masculine head with nice breadth of skull, dark round expressive eyes, his ears ears are a tad heavy and would ideally be higher set, plenty of strength to his muzzle. Decent front assembly with strongly boned legs. Moderate neck leading to well laid shoulders, well ribbed, firm top line with slight rise towards the loins, and well developed hindquarters. Shown in great condition, very well muscled and well presented jacket. Moved freely on the go around looking particularly good in profile.

PB (1)

1. Hannington’s Boudivella Dottie. Just 6 months and what a little beauty this wheaten girl is, I think she is something quite special and I could easily find sofa space for her! Feminine head, which is nicely proportioned, large expressive eyes, neat ears and good strength to her fore face. Pleasing outline and already quite well bodied for her age, good length of neck, chest and ribbing developing, and typical top line with slight rise towards loins. Well presented jacket. Moving freely and confidently on the go around. BPB, just pipped by the slightly more mature dog puppy, but it was a close call.

LB (1)

1. George’s Romainville Steel Magnolia. Blue girl of pleasing size and outline, carrying good bone and substance. Appealing well proportioned head; good width to her skull, well defined stop, expressive round eyes, and well placed ears. Moderate length off neck, firm top line rising towards the loins, deep brisket with good ribbing and well developed hind quarters all topped off with a good quality jacket. Moved out freely with an easy ground covering stride.

OB (3,2abs)

1. Sage’s Ch Wickholm Bohemian Rhapsody. A very pleasing blue girl with a lovely outline with good length of neck to balance. Plenty of bone and substance too. Lovely head; well proportioned, very feminine whilst retaining strength with good breadth of skull, expressive eyes and well placed ears. Stands well on slightly bowed well boned legs, with good width to her chest. Well ribbed, firm top line which rises towards the loins, and well developed hindquarters. Shown in great coat and condition. Carried herself well on the move, with a free and easy stride. BB. Gave a good account of herself in the BOB challenge, the younger male just having a slight edge on the move but a quality girl nonetheless.

GCB (1)

1. Saletti’s Jojase Bridie True Blue. A quality blue girl, litter sister to the ‘blue brothers’ shown in the earlier classes. She has a good outline with plenty of substance and a balanced outline. Feminine head and expression with good width to her skull, correctly placed expressive eyes and neat well placed ears. She stands well in the front with good width to her chest and carries nice bone. Decent neck to balance, firm top line which rises towards her loins, with well developed hindquarters all topped off with a well presented harsh jacket. Carried herself well on the move, moving freely with good ground coverage which gave her the edge in the bitch challenge and earned her RBB.
