Driffield Ch show 2025 L/C Chihuahua

VD (2,1abs)

1. Hargreaves’s Int Ch Winchi’s Arnold Noah. 8 1/2 years old who presents a pleasing outline both standing and on the move, giving the desired shape and proportions. Well rounded skull with well set, large flared ears and dark eyes. Nicely arched neck, good ribbing, level top line and matching well angulated front and hind quarters, all topped off with a well presented coat of good texture. On the go around, he moved briskly, covering the ground with ease. BVD & BVIB. 

MPD (2 ) 

1. Bisson & Beaumont’s Monicachi Money Talks At Beaulamey. 9 months lad with bags of confidence and style. Beautiful head and cheeky expression, nicely domed head and flared ears set just right angle, definite stop, and dark round eyes. Developing nicely through the body and standing on well boned limbs, with decent front assembly and good rear angulation to match. Coat well presented and of good texture. Comes alive on the move, with a confident brisk easy action. Promising youngster, happy to award him BPD, BPIB and delighted to see him top the Toy Puppy Group.

2 Lynch & Lynch’s Chirolin Magic Strike At Garnox (naf, Taf). Younger lad at just 7 months, so giving away a bit on maturity compared to winner, nice size, just a fraction longer in the body in the moment. Large ears flared and set on his well rounded head with round dark expressive eyes. Decent length of neck and a firm level top line. Ribs nicely sprung for his age, and nicely angulated rear. Coat of good texture. Moved confidently and briskly, just needs to settle a little in forehand movement. 

PD (1 ) 

1. Robson’s Tidos Dark Destroyer. Another pleasing youngster showing lots of promise, good for size, and presents a picture of balance and good proportions. Lovely head, his eyes are large and round, ears flared and set just right on his well-domed skull. Slight arch to his neck. Compact body with straight front legs and well bent stifles. Coat and feathering developing well. Good tail carriage and set. Moved out confidently on the go around with a brisk action. 

JD (2)

1.Holland Smith’s Kirdanchi All That Jaz. Nice size with a compact and balanced profile. Liked his well domed head, large well set flaring ears and round dark eyes with a bright expression. Good front assembly, well ribbed with a good top line, well angulated rear and high set sickle tail. Shown lovely coat and condition. Moved out confidently and soundly, just needing to settle a little going away. 

2. Patterson & Patterson & Patterson’s Bramerita Mr Motown With Bratilda. Not quite as mature or confident as winner as yet but pleasing for type, size and shape. Dainty and attractive with a nicely domed head and large flaring ears. Ample length of neck, straight front, good spring of ribs, level top line, with good proportioned body and lovely tail set and carriage. Moved out soundly with an active and brisk gait.


PGD (3 ) 

1. Heap Palmer’s Chirouxe Little Things Maciendas. Very attractive lad with flared ears, a nicely domed skull and large dark round eyes. Good front assembly leading to slightly arched neck, well laid shoulders, good ribbing and a firm level back. His tail is set high and carried in a sickle shape. Seemed a bit fidgety today, but settled down once on the move, he gaited around with a brisk easy action, showing himself off to advantage. Presented in good coat with plenty of feathering. 

2 Ruston & Chang & Robson’s Yensha's Supersonic With Tidos. Lovely headed boy, and a cheeky expression. Well rounded skull, alert expression, short muzzle and large dark round eyes, ears set well apart at a good angle. Good forequarters with well laid shoulders, well developed through his body with good ribbing, firm top line leading to a high set sickle tail. Moved out briskly once settled. Not as well coated as winner today. 

3. Gray’s Sanati Soul Ch Fiji Love For Rubyanlo (imp Ukr)

LD (4) 

1. Todd-McCoid & Todd-McCoid’s Neil Di San Gimignano At Rubyanlo (imp Ita). Well constructed lad, nice size and compact and well balanced in profile. Lovely head, well rounded skull, lovely dark round eyes giving a bright expression, his ears are set well apart at a good angle, could perhaps be a tad bigger and just needing a little more fringing to complete. Good forequarters with well laid shoulders, well developed hindquarters with a good turn of stifle. On the go around, he moved out well with a brisk action, retaining his top line and tail carriage. Presented in lovely condition.

2. Holmes’ Baralicia Huntsman At Teclo. Similar size to winner, and again nicely balanced in outline. Attractive head with well domed skull, round dark eyes and large flaring ears set on well, they also could have a little more fringing to complete the picture. Decent length of neck, well laid shoulders and a firm level top line with nicely angulated rear to match. Tail set on on high, he wasn’t using it quite as well as winner today. Moved out with an easy brisk gait.

3. Fairbairn’s Tidos Interloper.

OD (8,1abs) 

1. Heap Palmer’s Maciendas Ra. Liked the size and shape of this quality boy, well made throughout, all in proportion with nothing exaggerated. Beautiful head, well domed, large flaring ears set at the correct angle, dark expressive eyes giving a real cheeky expression. Decent length of neck and a firm level top line. Ribs nicely sprung , well bent stifles and lovely tail set and carriage. Shown in super coat and condition with plenty of feathering to complete the picture. Scored highly on the move, covering the ground with ease with , such a confident and happy little showman. Happy to ward him the DCC. 

2. Sangster & Sangster’s Ch Kirlasidh Young Pretender JW. Another very typey boy and full of quality. Pleasing head of good proportions, correct ear placement with lovely feathering, large dark expressive eyes. Lovely flow through the neck and top line, which is firm and level to a well set on sickle tail. His coat was presented in full bloom with plenty of feathering to complete the picture. Move out briskly and confidently, not quite so accurate going away as the winner today, but still a super dog and happy to award him the RDCC.

MPB (1)

1. Hargreaves ’ Tampico Sweet Dream (NAF). 7 months old, very happy bouncy little girl. There is much to appreciate being very typey and full of quality. She has a feminine nicely domed head with dark eyes, and well-placed ears. Her neck is of good length, and she is developing nicely through the body, with good depth and spring of rib for her age, a level back leading to a well-set and carried tail. Needs to concentrate a bit more, that will come with time and experience but absolutely sound on the move. BPB

PB (5 ) 

1. Tyson & Tyson & Tyson’s Rubyanlo Knock Your Sox Off. Scored well here as she was the most collected and coordinated in this class. Liked her type, size, and femininity. Pretty head, of good proportions, dark expressive eyes and well set flaring ears. Having a nice flow through her neck and top line, which was firm and level. Good depth and spring to the ribcage. Brisk and forceful in her action. 

2. Robson’s Tidos Voodoo Lady. Close up to winner, just not quite as settled on move today. Liked her size and shape. Pretty head, nicely balanced with very dark eyes, and placed flared ears, with an alert cheeky expression. Her neck is of good length, flowing into a firm top line, developing nicely through the body and she has a well-set and carried tail. Still needing to develop and mature as you would expect, but she has it all there. Moved out confidently.

3. Hargreaves’ Tampico Day Dream (NAF) 

JB (2)

1. Hornby’s Bramerita Little Red Head. Promising youngster, she is of a nice overall size and stamp, being balanced and unexaggerated. Feminine head of good proportions, correct ear placement with lovely feathering and dark round eyes. Good length of neck, flowing into a firm level top line, well sprung ribs finishing with a well set on tail. She showed herself off with confidence and style on the move. Presented in lovely coat with good feathering. 

2. Tyson & Tyson & Tyson’s Gerga Leo Valentina At Starceylon (Imp) Svk (TAF). She has a lovely head with a dark eye and well-placed ears. Decent length of neck and a firm level top line. Ribs nicely sprung for her age and she is developing nicely through the body and her coat and furnishing are coming along nicely. Still needing to mature and grow in confidence but she has it all there. 

PGB (5,1abs)

1. Tyson& Tyson & Tyson’s Starceylon Miss Potter. She is of a nice overall size and stamp, being balanced in profile and feminine throughout. Very pretty head with a well domed skull, well set ears, round eyes which could perhaps be a tad darker. She has a nice flow through her neck and top line, which was firm and level, good depth and spring to the ribcage, finishing with a well set on tail. Well coated with good furnishings, shown in lovely bloom. Moved out soundly and positively in all directions whilst holding her shape. 

2. Barker’s Baralicia Jenny Wren. Feminine little girl, appealing in her outline, well balanced and harmonious in her proportions. Lovely head, well domed skull with well placed large flaring ears which she used well. Her neck is of good length, flowing into a firm top line, well developed through the body and she has a well-set and carried tail all topped off with a well presented coat with plenty of feathering. Brisk active movement, not quite as settled going away, but looked good in profile.

3. Todd-McCoid & Todd-McCoid’s Rubyanlo Next Top Model

LB (4)

1. Day’s Monicachi Blue You Away. Most appealing in her outline, so very balanced and harmonious in her proportions. She showed herself off with bags of confidence and style which gave her the edge in this class and the challenge. She has a lovely head , nicely domed, with dark eyes and well-placed large flaring ears to enhance her cheeky expression. Neck is of good length, well developed through the body holding a firm top line, leading to a well-set and carried sickle tail. Presented in full bloom and moving out well in all directions with a brisk active gait. Happy to award her RBCC.

2. Silverstein’s Bramerita If I Ain’t Got You For Silverchi. Not the maturity or well developed body of winner as yet, good for size and she holds a quite a shapely silhouette. She has a lovely head with a dark eye and well-placed flared ears. Good length of neck with a slight arch flowing into a well held top line. Developing through the body. Hindquarters show to be parallel with a nice bend of stifle leading to a high set tail. Presented in lovely coat and moved out briskly.

3. Wilcox & Lane’s Bramerita Angel Dust

OB (7,1abs) 

1. Bielena’s Misty Meadow's Morning Glory. Immediately catches the eye for her pleasing overall size, balanced and unexaggerated profile. There’s a real stamp of quality about her. Gorgeous head, very feminine with nicely domed skull, eyes round and colour to match her coat, ears are well set on and flared all aiding her saucy expression. Her neck is of good length, flowing into a firm top line, well developed through the body and she has a well-set and carried tail. Presented in beautiful coat and condition, she showed herself off with confidence and style, moving positively and with precision which gave her the edge in this class and the challenges. Delighted to award her the BCC and BOB. 

2. Entwistle’s Ch Dorenty's Textututango JW. Most appealing in her outline, well balanced and all in proportion. Good for size and very feminine in outlook. Pretty head, with flared ears, although not using them as well as she could. Lovely flow through the neck and top line, which is firm and level, well developed through the body, with a good spring to a well set on tail. Coat in lovely bloom. Brisk in her action, not quite the ‘look at me’ attitude of the winner, but she is a super girl.
