Thanks to the committee for their kind invitation to judge the club Championship show, a thoroughly enjoyable time with this lovely breed. My thank to my stewards Mike and Rhonda for keeping everything flowing along nicely.
Baby PB (1)
1. Bowles-Robinson’s Baldragon Remember Me. 5 month Tri baby who has just the most beautiful head and expression for one so young. Good rise of dome, the darkest of eyes and nice finish to her lips. Straight front legs with good bone for her age, short coupled and well bent stifles, topped off with a well marked coat. Moved steadily one she got the hang of things. One I will remember and watch out for in the future. Best Baby puppy in show.
VD (2)
1. Gillhespy’s Lorphil Red Arrow. Ruby boy with a very typical head and appealing expression. Well domed skull with large dark eyes and low set ears. Short square muzzle with desired turn up and good width. Well made forequarters with good width to his chest and straight front legs. Good bend of stifle and low hocks. Richly coloured flat silky coat with plenty of feathering. Moved soundly and steadily retaining his topline. BVD.
2. Tonner’s Headra’s Inspiration at Halbinsel. Tricolour lad, slightly shorter coupled than winner although he appeared a little stuffy in the neck, and didn’t hold his head up on the move today. Attractive well domed head with large dark eyes and low set ears. Good spring and length of rib , nicely angulated fore and aft. Sound enough on the move, just not holding his topline today..
MPD (4)
1. Mochrie’s Chacombe Harry on Downsbank. Tricolour boy of just 6 months sporting a well marked silky coat. He immediately appealed for his size and shape. Beautiful head and expression, well domed skull for his age with, large dark eyes, good stop and turn up. Chest already has some width and he is compact and cobby with good bone and substance and nicely angulated fore and aft. Moved soundly once settled and got the hang of things, no hesitation in awarding him. Best Puppy dog and Best Puppy in Show. Will follow his progress with interest.
2. Smith’s Chacombe Hendrix at Justacharma. Litter brother of a similar stamp with lots to like. Nicely domed head, lovely dark eyes and well placed nose nose. Already showing some cobbiness with some width to his chest and nicely angulated fore quarters with sufficient bone and well bent stifles. Moved soundly and at a steady pace once he settled.
3. Sidgwick’s Chacombe Hank at Paulian.
PD (3)
1. Clarke’s Headra’s Bohemian Rhapsody at Poltomic. This Tricolour boy, won this class on his slightly more developed head. Nicely domed with some width and dark round eyes, needing to develop a little in underjaw as yet. Showing some cobbiness, a touch long in the body at the moment which was accentuated by lack of coat on the day, but he has good bone and substance for his age. Moved soundly enough.
2.Sidgwick’s Chacombe Hank at Paulian. Moved up a place in this class as he had more body and substance. Attractive nicely domed head, dark eyes and well placed nose. Good angulations fore and aft. Moved out confidently and soundly if rather wriggly.
3. Tonner’s Headra’s Don’t Stop Me Now at Halbinsel.
JD (4)
1. Morley’s Baldragon Dream Chaser at Lizlanmor JW. Heavily marked tricolour lad shown in lovely coat and condition, he won the class on his positive and active movement. Quite cobby in outline with good bone and substance. Gently domed head, with round dark eyes, a little more developing to do in terms of turn-up of both nose and underjaw. Ample neck, with good angulations fore and aft. Sound and confident on the move looking particularly good in profile.
2. Smith’s Justacharma Magic Retained. Tricolour boy with well broken markings, with some ticking in his coat. Scored on his head properties, well domed with good turn-up of nose and chin, dark eyes and well cushioned face. Good bone and substance, with deep chest, he can stand a little untidily in front. Moved out soundly and at a steady pace.

YD (5)
1. Bowles-Robinson’s Baldragon One Time Only TAF. Well marked Tricolour lad, whilst not the most confident when standing, he scored well on the move, parallel away and back and has a good side gait. Pleasing well domed skull with an appealing gentle expression with low set ears and large dark round eyes set well apart. Square muzzle with good turn up. Well off for bone, his chest has width and depth and he is compact and cobby with good rear angulations.
2. Tarabad & Whitman’s Baldragon Living the Dream with Khatibi. Liked the size of this heavily marked well presented Tricolour boy. Attractive head, well domed with good nose and eye placement. Well of for bone, and compact and cobby with it, nicely angulated both ends. Very sound and confident on the move with a free and easy gait. Today he was holding his tail too high on the move which unfortunately spoilt his profile.
3. Rignall’s Rignolla Baby Reindeer.
PG. (5,1abs)
1. Greenfield’s Enrice Noire Entrouge Dark Drakula (Imp UKR). Black and tan with who appealed for his cobby and compact profile. Masculine well domed head, full over his dark eyes, ears long and flat to face and ample cushioning giving a pleasing expression. In great coat and condition with lovely rich tans in all the right places. Good bone and substance, well developed fore chest, short coupled and nicely angulated fore and aft. Needs to settle a bit whilst standing. He moved freely at a steady pace, keeping a level topline, which won him the class.
2. Tarabad & Whitman’s Baldragon Living the Dream with Khatibi. See YD notes. Had the better body shape than the reminder in this class being compact and cobby, the winner had the better tail carriage on the move.
3. Clarke’s Mitapip Special Edition at Poltomic.
LD (9,2abs)
1. Baker & Kendall’s Headra’s Jim Bean. Really liked this Black and Tan boy. He is cobby, compact and shown in a gleaming flat silky coat with rich well marked tans and plenty of feathering. Loved his head, so handsome, well domed with the darkest of eyes, nose well placed in his face, open nostrils and lips meeting together with a lovely plushy muzzle. Chest wide and deep, legs straight with close set elbows, well angulated fore and aft. It was on the move that he came into his own, striding out confidently with purpose with such a free and fluid stride, carrying his head proudly. Very attractive head, well domed skull, expressive dark eyes and a good turn-up of both nose and underjaw with a lovely plushy muzzle. Moved with an easy free stride. A tough decision between him and the LD winner, liked them both very much, Jim Bean just having that little extra bit of verve on the move today, so had to settle for RDCC today.

Black and tan girl and whilst older than the winner, quite immature at present needing lots of time to develop more bone and substance to give a more cobby and compact profile. Deep chest and short coupled body with nicely angulated hindquarters. She scored well on her confident movement, showing a straight front coming towards and good drive from behind.
2. Bowles-Robinson’s Lovetrac Katrina Baldragon. Ideal size, cobby and compact in outline with good bone. Beautiful head, large dark eyes with good nose and chin placement. Short cobby body with good angulations, with well presented silky coat. She has promise for the future.
