I would like to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge there show.

Also ,thank you to my two very able stewards for keeping the ring in order and running efficiently.

The biggest thank you must go as always to the exhibitors for there entries and sportsmanship on my decisions on the day.

In my opinon,since I last judged labradors,weight in some exibits is still an issue,pplease remember the labrador is a working gundog “fit for function”some are not.

I felt the melting labrador expression is becoming a minority,and front movement (pinning in)on some dogs is very apparent.Some lovely dogs standing,where let down on the movement.

I found a couple of bad mouths,some dogs need some road work to tighten there feet up,coats where a mixed bag,which I would expect.
